Marble Sort Level 101 Guide: The Front Row Cascade Trap

Marble Sort Level 101 throws a massive visual trap right in your face the second the board loads. The bottom row of the Top Tray gives you four full, dimpled blocks of marbles: Blue, Dark Red, Light Green, and Yellow. They look incredibly tempting. It feels like you can just rapid-fire all four of them to clear out the front of the tray.

Do not do this. If you blindly tap all four, you will instantly choke your Conveyor Belt and ruin the run.

This board is a strict puzzle of order of operations. The dominant colors in the early game are Blue, Light Green, Yellow, and Dark Red, but the bottom Boxes dictate exactly when you are allowed to play them. To make things worse, the top left and top right corners of the Top Tray feature locked boxes with a "3" on them. These act as blockers. You cannot access the crucial back-row marbles until you successfully clear three bottom Boxes.

You are forced to work with what is available in the center, and you must sequence your clears perfectly to pry those corners open. Let's break down exactly how to navigate this mess.

The Sequential Stack Pattern in Marble Sort Level 101

Take a hard look at the arrangement before you tap anything. The Top Tray is a 4x4 grid. The front line consists entirely of full 3-marble blocks: Blue, Dark Red, Light Green, and Yellow.

Now look down at the bottom Boxes. There are four columns. The front active Boxes are Light Pink, Blue, Dark Red, and another Dark Red.

Here is the gimmick of Marble Sort 101: The second column of Boxes is a perfectly stacked sequence that exactly matches the front row of the Top Tray, but only if you play it in a very specific cascade. The second column has a Blue Box on top, hiding a Light Green Box, which is hiding a Yellow Box.

This is the entire skeleton key to the level. You have the Blue, Light Green, and Yellow marbles sitting right there in the Top Tray, completely ready to go. But if you hit Light Green or Yellow before their respective Boxes are uncovered in that second column, they will drop onto the Conveyor Belt and sit there. They will eat up your limited space. The board will jam.

The left side of the board also features a Light Pink Box up front. Clearing the Blue block in the Top Tray will uncover a single Light Pink marble. This is pure bait. Tapping that single Light Pink marble will just dump it on the Conveyor Belt without clearing the Box, because you do not have three Light Pink marbles available yet. You have to ignore it until the board opens up.

Your entire goal is to trigger the Blue, Light Green, and Yellow cascade to satisfy the 3-clear requirement for the top corner blockers.

Marble Sort Level 101 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

Focus entirely on the second column of Boxes and the front row of the Top Tray. Leave everything else alone. Precision is mandatory here.

Breaking the Front Line in Marble Sort Level 101

The opening moves require discipline. Ignore the Light Pink Box completely. Ignore the locked corners.

  1. Tap the Blue block on the bottom left of the Top Tray. This immediately drops three Blue marbles into the Blue Box in the second column, clearing it out.
  2. The clearing of the Blue Box exposes the Light Green Box underneath it. Now, tap the Light Green block sitting in the front row of the Top Tray. This drops three Light Green marbles, instantly clearing that Box.
  3. The clearing of the Light Green Box exposes the Yellow Box at the bottom of that second column. Tap the Yellow block on the front right of the Top Tray. This fills and clears the Yellow Box.
  4. Tap the Dark Red block in the Top Tray to clear one of the Dark Red Boxes on the right side.

You just chained four perfect clears. This satisfies the "3" requirement on the top corner blockers, unlocking them and exposing the back row of the Top Tray. Your Conveyor Belt is completely empty. You are in total control.

Managing the Mid-Board Unlocks in Marble Sort Level 101

This is where the game tries to panic you. Once the corners unlock, a bunch of single marbles are revealed. You will see Purples, Browns, Greens, and that single Light Pink sitting in the second row.

The bottom Boxes have shifted. You now likely have active Boxes for Light Pink, Purple, Green, or Dark Red, depending on exactly how the back rows settled.

  1. Assess your Conveyor Belt space. You have room to stage singles now, but you must prioritize matching.
  2. Look at your active Boxes. If a Purple Box is open, tap the single Purple marbles from the second and third rows of the Top Tray to clear it.
  3. Do not tap the Light Pink marble until you can visually confirm two other Light Pink marbles in the newly opened back rows. If you send it down too early, it becomes a permanent roadblock.
  4. Dig methodically toward the back right. The third row holds a crucial Dark Red marble that you will need to finish off the remaining Dark Red Boxes. Pull it only when the path is clear.

Surviving the Late Game Jam in Marble Sort Level 101

If you start tapping random single colors like Brown or Green before their Boxes are at the front of the queue, your Conveyor Belt will jam hard. Marble Sort Level 101 will punish you at the very end if you let isolated marbles pile up.

  1. Always clear a full Box before moving to a new color. If you start loading Purple, finish loading Purple.
  2. Use the open space in the top corners to reach the remaining bottom-row colors.
  3. Only drop the Brown and Green marbles when their respective Boxes are the absolute front active layer.

Stick to the exact opening cascade, keep your belt clean during the midgame transition, and Marble Sort 101 will collapse without putting up a fight.
