Marble Sort Level 311 Guide: The Iced Box and Four-Key Trap

Marble Sort Level 311 is a massive test of patience and sequence control. You are dealing with a heavy spread of Blue, Orange, Green, and Pink marbles. The layout forces you to navigate a brutal center trap while managing a very restricted Conveyor Belt.

The entire middle of the Top Tray is frozen solid. It forms a wall that dictates every move you make. You cannot rush this. You have to systematically dismantle the outer edges to crack the center, all while chasing down four separate keys to open up your bottom Boxes.

The Frozen Core Pattern in Marble Sort Level 311

When you load into Marble Sort Level 311, your eyes are immediately drawn to the middle. A massive cluster of Iced Boxes dominates the center of the Top Tray. Inside this frozen fortress, you will see Red, Blue, Pink, Orange, and Green marbles trapped under the ice. You cannot touch them. They are completely dead weight until you clear the adjacent marbles to shatter the ice.

Flanking this icy center are two narrow, offset columns holding your most vital targets. A Blue marble with a Key and an Orange marble with a Key sit right between the frozen sections. You need these. Without them, the Lock and Key mechanic will completely ruin your late game.

Look at the outer edges of the Top Tray. The far-left column holds Dark Grey, a Green marble with a Key, and more Dark Grey. The far-right column holds Blue, Blue, a Purple marble with a Key, Light Green, and Pink. Your four keys are scattered across the board. You must retrieve the Green, Blue, Orange, and Purple keys to unlock the rightmost column of your bottom Boxes.

Sitting directly at the top of the board are two Tunnels, each marked with a '3'. These will dump more marbles into your play area late in the game, adding sudden pressure just when you think the board is clear.

Now look down at your bottom Boxes. The placement here dictates your exact opening route.

  • Column 1 (Left): Blue, Purple, Green, Blue, Orange.
  • Column 2 (Mid-Left): Brown, Blue, Green, Orange, Purple.
  • Column 3 (Mid-Right): Orange, Green, Green, Dark Grey, Blue.
  • Column 4 (Right): Pink, Brown, Pink, Pink, Green. This entire column is trapped behind a Lock.

At the very bottom edge of the Top Tray, sitting right above the Conveyor Belt, is a row of large textured marble blocks: Green, Blue, Brown, Purple, and Pink. Because your starting active bottom Boxes need Blue, Brown, Orange, and Pink, those bottom edge blocks are your immediate priority.

The biggest trap in Marble Sort Level 311 is the mid-game Orange and Purple cluster. The middle layers of the Top Tray are packed with these colors. If you pull them down before their corresponding bottom Boxes are active, your Conveyor Belt will fill up instantly.

Marble Sort Level 311 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

You have to play from the outside in. Do not touch the middle until the flanks are clear.

Clearing the Front Line in Marble Sort Level 311

Your first taps must clear the immediate blockers so the board can breathe.

  1. Drop the bottom-edge blocks: Tap the large Blue and Brown textured blocks sitting at the lowest edge of the Top Tray. This will immediately feed the active Blue and Brown bottom Boxes on the left side.
  2. Pull from the far right: You need Pink for the active right-side bottom Box. Tap the Pink marble sitting at the bottom of the far-right column.
  3. Grab the outer keys: As the outer columns drop, target the Green marble with a Key on the far left. Route it into the Conveyor Belt. Do the exact same thing for the Purple marble with a Key on the far right.
  4. Ignore the Orange bait: You will see a lot of Orange marbles sitting right above the bottom edge. Leave them alone. The active Orange bottom Box is in column three. You only have space for a few Orange marbles on the Conveyor Belt. Do not overfill it.

Thawing the Ice in Marble Sort Level 311

Once the outer columns are lowered, the game completely changes. The center trap begins to thaw.

  1. Crack the Iced Boxes: Dropping the inner-left and inner-right columns will break the ice on the center marbles. Focus on freeing the Red, Blue, and Pink Iced Boxes on the left side of the center block.
  2. Secure the center keys: The moment the ice shatters, grab the Blue marble with a Key and the Orange marble with a Key. Get them into the Conveyor Belt immediately.
  3. Watch the jam risk: Right now, your Conveyor Belt is likely choked with Orange, Brown, and Purple marbles. Look at your bottom Boxes. You must clear the first layer to reveal the Purple and Green Boxes beneath them. Only pull down colors that match the currently active front-row Boxes.
  4. Break the Lock: Once all four keys (Green, Purple, Blue, Orange) are processed, the Lock on the right side of the bottom Boxes will pop open. You now have full access to the Pink and Brown backlog.

Surviving the Tunnels in Marble Sort Level 311

You are almost done, but the board has one last trick.

  1. Flush the right side: With the Lock gone, aggressively dump Pink and Brown marbles into the newly opened right-side Boxes. This will rapidly clear space on your Conveyor Belt.
  2. Trigger the Tunnels: As you clear the upper layers of the Top Tray, the two '3' Tunnels will activate. They will spit out their hidden marbles.
  3. Sort the final drop: Keep your Conveyor Belt mostly empty before the Tunnels drop. Match whatever colors pour out of them with the remaining bottom Boxes to finish the level. Stay patient, match front-to-back, and you will clear the board.
