Marble Sort Level 267 Guide: The Gift Box Blockade and Double Lock Trap

You load into this board and immediately see the problem. The center of the board is completely choked by four massive Gift Box tiles. Surrounding them is a massive wall of grey Mystery Box tiles and silver keys. Marble Sort Level 267 does not let you play freely. It forces you into a very narrow opening sequence.

The dominant colors staring you down are light blue, dark green, yellow, and orange. But the colors are a distraction. The real threat is the double lock sitting at the bottom of your first two left-hand columns. If you do not dig exactly to the key marbles in the third row of the Top Tray, your Conveyor Belt will jam and the level will end before you even scratch the middle.

The Board Pattern in Marble Sort Level 267

This layout is a trap built on restricted access. Look at your bottom Boxes. You have four active columns. From left to right, the top available colors are dark green, orange, light green, and light blue.

Now look at your Top Tray. The front row is entirely textured, dotted marbles. On the far left, you have two light blue marbles. Next to them is a dark green, a brown/red, a dark blue, and a light green.

Behind that front line sits a row of solid colors: green, yellow, pink, orange, yellow, and orange.

Behind that row is your lifeline. You have a purple marble with a key, a light green marble with a key, an empty gap, a pink marble with a key, and an orange marble with a key.

You must reach that third row. Those keys are required to open the bottom-left columns. The first column hides a Lock and Key block under a dark green and two yellow Boxes. The second column hides another lock under two orange and one light green Box.

The bait on this board is the brown/red dotted marble sitting dead center in the front row of the Top Tray. You do not have an active brown bottom Box right now. If you drop that brown marble onto your Conveyor Belt early just to see what is behind it, it will sit there taking up permanent space. Space is your most valuable resource in Marble Sort 267.

Once you clear enough marbles around the center, those four blue Gift Box tiles with the red ribbons and the number "4" will activate. When they open, they will dump new boxes onto the board. You have to trigger them on your terms, not by accident.

Marble Sort Level 267 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

You need surgical precision to survive the opening moves. Do not spam taps. Every single marble dropped onto the Conveyor Belt must have an immediate destination.

Cracking the Front Lines in Marble Sort Level 267

The opening moves are entirely about matching the front line of the Top Tray to the top layer of the bottom Boxes without pulling dead colors.

  1. Start on the far left of the Top Tray. Tap the two dotted light blue marbles. Send them straight into the light blue Box waiting at the top of the far-right column.
  2. Tap the dark green dotted marble in the front row. Drop it into the dark green Box in the far-left column.
  3. Tap the light green dotted marble on the far right of the front row. Send it into the light green Box in the third column.
  4. Leave the brown/red and dark blue dotted marbles exactly where they are. Do not touch them. They are dead weight right now.
  5. Dropping that first dark green marble just exposed a solid green marble in the second row. Drop it into the dark green Box to finish the clear.
  6. This reveals a yellow Box in the first column. Your second row in the Top Tray now has solid yellow and orange marbles exposed. Start dropping the orange marbles to clear the top Box in the second column.

Unlocking the Mystery Box Wall in Marble Sort Level 267

Once you break through the second row of solid colors, the dynamic of Marble Sort Level 267 shifts completely. You are now face-to-face with the key layer.

  1. Look at the third row of the Top Tray. You now have access to the purple, light green, pink, and orange marbles holding keys.
  2. As soon as you clear the yellow Boxes in the first column, your Conveyor Belt will finally have breathing room.
  3. Drop the key marbles the exact second their matching bottom Box becomes the active front layer.
  4. Clearing the key marbles will shatter the locks in the bottom left columns. This is the turning point of the level. Suddenly, you have access to a massive reserve of deep column space.
  5. Start pushing into the grey Mystery Box tiles sitting above the key layer. You have to drop the blocking marbles in front of them to reveal their colors. Keep at least two slots open on your Conveyor Belt before you reveal a Mystery Box. You never know when it will spit out a color you cannot immediately match.

Clearing the Gift Boxes in Marble Sort Level 267

You are now in the late game. The bottom columns are open. The locks are gone. But the center of the Top Tray is still holding a massive threat.

  1. As you clear the Mystery Box tiles around the center, the four Gift Box tiles will start counting down.
  2. When the countdown hits zero, they explode and reveal new bottom Boxes.
  3. This will cause a massive spike in board pressure. Your Conveyor Belt must be mostly empty when this happens. If you are holding three dead marbles when the Gift Box explosion occurs, you will likely jam and fail the level.
  4. Clean up any remaining solid colors on the sides. Clear out the brown/red and dark blue dotted marbles from the very beginning of the level. Their bottom Boxes should now be exposed in the fourth column.
  5. Funnel the newly revealed Gift Box drops into your freshly opened bottom-left columns to close out the board.

Stay patient with the center cluster. Control the outside edges first, break the locks early, and Marble Sort 267 will collapse perfectly.
