Marble Sort Level 389 Guide: The Massive 16-Clear Panel Trap

Marble Sort Level 389 is going to test your patience right out of the gate. This board is dominated by a gigantic metal obstacle taking up the entire top left side, completely dictating your early game route. You are forced into a very narrow tunnel of viable moves, and if you misclick just once, the board jams up immediately.

The dominant colors you can actually interact with are Green, Dark Red, Light Pink, and Orange, but do not let the front row fool you. The bottom Boxes are deliberately mismatched with the most tempting center marbles. Your entire goal here is surviving off the right-side columns long enough to tear off that massive metal shield.

Let’s look at exactly how this nightmare is stacked. The Top Tray is heavily restricted. The entire top-left quadrant is buried under a huge metal Panel bolted down with four screws and a massive "16" stamped in the middle. This means you must execute 16 full bottom Box clears before you even get to see what is hiding behind it.

Because the Panel eats up half the board, you only have a few active columns on the right and center to work with. The front line of the Top Tray gives you a Dark Red cluster on the left, a Light Pink cluster in the middle, and a Green cluster on the right. Behind these front clusters, you have a vertical stack of Light Pink, Orange, and Light Blue in the middle. On the far right column, you have two Green clusters stacked in front of a blue Tunnel marked with a "3".

The real danger in Marble Sort 389 lies in the bottom Boxes. You have four stacks of bottom Boxes waiting to be filled. The top row currently asking for marbles is Purple, Magenta, Green, and Red.

You have to play this board front-to-back, strictly ignoring the bait in the center. Space on the Conveyor Belt is your most valuable resource here. You are going to farm the right column to open the Tunnel while ignoring the center completely.

Dodging the Light Pink Bait in Marble Sort Level 389

The opening sequence requires extreme discipline. Do not touch the middle of the board.

Tap the front-right Green cluster. It will drop straight down and instantly clear the open Green Box sitting in the third stack.
Tap the Dark Red cluster sitting on the left side of the exposed front row. This will travel down the Conveyor Belt and clear the Red Box on the far right.
Leave the Light Pink center cluster exactly where it is. Touching it now guarantees a jam.
With the first Green Box cleared, the next Box in that stack is revealed. It is another Green Box.

As the Tunnel empties and you clear the Purple and Yellow bottom Boxes, the counter on the Panel will finally hit zero.
The metal Panel will fly off the Top Tray, instantly revealing a massive cluster of trapped marbles on the left side.
Pause and read the board before spamming taps. The newly revealed left side will heavily feature the colors you need to clear the deeper Orange and Light Pink bottom Boxes.
Now, and only now, you can drop that Light Pink bait cluster from the center. The Light Pink bottom Box on the far right is finally accessible.
