Marble Sort Level 115 Guide: The Cross-Key Lock Trap

Marble Sort Level 115 throws a massive roadblock at you right from the start. You are staring down a board completely divided by a thick center wall. Worse, the top half of the board is choked by a dual Lock and Key setup. The dominant colors you need to juggle right away are purple, red, light pink, and yellow.

The Top Tray is split strictly into a left zone and a right zone. You cannot mix them. Each side is holding the key to unlock the opposite side. It is a cross-key trap. You have to carefully dig through the bottom blocks just to reach those keys without flooding your limited Conveyor Belt. Make one careless tap here, and you will hit a dead end before the locks even break.

The Cross-Lock Board Pattern in Marble Sort Level 115

When you load into Marble Sort Level 115, the board state is highly structured and incredibly cramped. The top two rows on both the left and right sides of the Top Tray consist entirely of grey Mystery Boxes. You cannot see their colors. You cannot tap them. They are chained down.

The left side of the Top Tray is secured by a brown Lock and Key chain. Look carefully at the visible tiles below this brown lock. You have a purple key tile sitting on the far left edge. Below the lock sits a yellow tile and a red tile. The bottom row of this left section holds a blue tile, two yellow tiles, and a green tile. Below all of that sit three very accessible purple tiles.

The right side of the Top Tray is secured by a purple Lock and Key chain. The tiles below this lock include an orange tile, a green tile, a light blue tile, and a gold key tile on the far right edge. The bottom row here features a green tile, a red tile, and two light pink tiles. Sitting alone below this row are two yellow tiles.

The trap is obvious once you look at the colors. The purple key on the left side is required to open the purple lock on the right side. The gold key on the right side is required to open the brown lock on the left side. You have to cross-pollinate your clears.

Now look down at your lower Boxes. You have four distinct columns. The first column starts with a light pink Box, followed by green, red, a grey Mystery Box, and yellow. The second column starts with a red Box, followed by a Mystery Box, two light pinks, and a purple. The third column starts with a purple Box, followed by a Mystery Box, and three yellows. The fourth column is stacked with a red Box, a purple, a red, and two greens.

This bottom layout dictates your entire opening strategy. You need light pink, red, and purple marbles immediately. Any other color tap is pure bait.

Marble Sort Level 115 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

Getting through the early game requires strict discipline. Do not touch the blue, orange, or green tiles yet. Keep your Conveyor Belt completely free of clutter.

Escaping the Starting Squeeze in Marble Sort Level 115

Your immediate goal is to clear the front line of the lower Boxes so you can reach the keys in the Top Tray.

  1. Start on the right side of the Top Tray. Tap the two light pink tiles sitting on the bottom row. This immediately feeds the light pink Box sitting at the front of your first column.
  2. Look at your lower Boxes again. You have two red Boxes sitting at the front of columns two and four. Tap the exposed red tiles on the right side of the Top Tray to start filling them.
  3. Shift your attention to the left side of the Top Tray. You have three purple tiles sitting isolated at the very bottom. Tap all three.
  4. These three purple marbles will fly down and instantly clear the purple Box at the top of your third column.
  5. Clearing that purple Box exposes a Mystery Box in column three. Do not panic about the hidden colors yet. Keep focusing on the visible tiles.
  6. With the purple tiles gone from the left side, the blue, yellow, and green tiles are now fully exposed.

Triggering the Cross-Keys in Marble Sort Level 115

Now you have breathing room. The Conveyor Belt should be relatively clear, and you have exposed the pathways to both keys.

  1. Look at the left side of the Top Tray. The purple key tile is now reachable.
  2. You need to drop the purple key into a matching lower Box to activate it. If you do not have a purple Box ready, look at your second and fourth columns. Clear the red tiles blocking the way to reveal the next purple Boxes underneath.
  3. Tap the purple key tile. Once it clears, the heavy purple chain on the right side of the board shatters.
  4. The right-side top rows of Mystery Boxes are now unlocked, but do not touch them yet.
  5. Turn to the right side of the Top Tray. You need to free the gold key tile. Tap the green and light blue tiles blocking it, but only if your lower Boxes are asking for those colors. If your lower Boxes want yellow, pull the yellow tiles from the left side to keep the board moving.
  6. Once the path is clear, tap the gold key tile. It drops, activates, and shatters the brown lock on the left side.

Surviving the Blind Drops in Marble Sort Level 115

Both locks are dead. The board is completely open. The real danger now is getting greedy with the hidden tiles.

  1. You now have huge clusters of grey Mystery Boxes exposed at the top of both the left and right sides. They are bait.
  2. Look at the second layer of your lower Boxes. You will likely have green, light blue, and red Boxes waiting to be filled.
  3. Pull the remaining visible blue, orange, and light blue tiles from the middle sections of the Top Tray first. Clear everything you can actually see.
  4. Only tap a top Mystery Box when your Conveyor Belt has at least five empty slots.
  5. Tap exactly two Mystery Boxes on the left side. Wait to see their colors. If they match an open lower Box, great. If they do not, they will sit on your Conveyor Belt.
  6. Keep tapping Mystery Boxes one by one. Slow down. The late game is purely about managing belt space. If you click four blind boxes and get four different colors, you will jam the level right at the finish line. Match them deliberately to clear the final lower columns and finish the board.
