This board is a masterclass in bait. You load in, look at the front row, and immediately realize the game is trying to trick you into a quick game over. The dominant colors you actually need at the start are Red, White, and Orange, but the game shoves Light Blue, Purple, and Green right in your face.

If you just start tapping the biggest clusters, you will lose. The entire flow of Marble Sort 689 is controlled by three numbered Gift Boxes sitting in the third row. You cannot reach the back half of the puzzle, the striped multi-colored tiles, or the grey Hidden Boxes until you break through that middle barricade.

Let us look at exactly how this trap is set up. You need to understand the board layout before you make a single tap.

Look at your receiving lower Boxes. You have four columns. The front active row demands Red, White, Orange, and Red. Two Red bins are staring right at you.

Now look up at the Top Tray. The very front row of large, ready-to-drop marble clusters reads from left to right: Light Blue, Purple, Orange, White, and Green.

Do you see the problem? You have two bottom Boxes starving for Red marbles, but there are absolutely zero Red marbles in the front line of the Top Tray. They are trapped in the second row, sitting directly behind the Light Blue and Pink blocks.

This means Light Blue and Green are pure bait. Touching that front Green cluster on the far right is a death sentence for your Conveyor Belt. You have no active Green bottom Box to catch it. If you drop it, it just sits on the belt eating up valuable space.

Do not rush. The order of operations here is incredibly strict. You have to balance opening the bottom Boxes with digging straight down the middle of the Top Tray.

Your first moves must be exact. We are ignoring the outer edges completely.

1. Tap the front Orange cluster in the middle of the Top Tray. It drops and immediately clears the Orange bottom Box in the third column.
2. Tap the front White cluster right next to it. It drops and clears the White bottom Box in the second column.
3. You now have a hole in the center of the board. Look at the lower Boxes that just moved up. You revealed another White bin and a Red bin.
4. Now you must make a calculated sacrifice. Tap the front Light Blue cluster on the far left. Yes, it will sit on your Conveyor Belt. We are doing this on purpose.
5. Moving that Light Blue cluster exposes the solid Red block behind it. Tap that Red block immediately to feed the active Red bottom Box on the far left.

6. Clear the smaller White and Orange blocks in the center of the second row. You need to match them with the newly revealed bottom Boxes.
7. Dropping these blocks will trigger the countdown on the center Gift Box. Once its number drops to zero, it bursts open.
8. The board state violently shifts here. The lower Boxes will cycle out. Suddenly, the game demands Brown, Yellow, and Green marbles.
9. Look at the back of the Top Tray. You now have access to the multi-colored striped blocks (Yellow/Purple, Light Blue/Orange). Do not touch them yet. Focus entirely on the newly revealed solid Green and Brown clusters.
10. Drop the large Green cluster from the top right to clear the new Green bottom Box that just appeared in the second column.

12. The final threat is the cluster of grey Hidden Boxes sitting in the top left corner. You cannot know what color they hold until you expose them.
13. Only tap a Hidden Box when your Conveyor Belt is at least half empty. If it spits out a color you don't need, you need the belt space to absorb the hit.
14. Clear the remaining solid Red and Light Blue blocks on the right side to finish feeding the final lower Boxes.

Keep your center open, don't touch the outer edges until the very end, and let the center Gift Box do the heavy lifting.
