Marble Sort Level 442 Guide: The Pink Bait Trap

This board is incredibly deceptive. You load in, see a nice clean setup, and immediately want to tap the bright colors at the bottom of the tray. Do not do it.

The dominant colors you need to manage here are White, Green, and Purple, but the board aggressively hides what you actually need behind layers of gray. The Top Tray is shaped like a giant "M" with four Tunnels bolted to the outer left and right edges. Your bottom Boxes dictate everything. If you do not read the exact order of the bottom Boxes before you start tapping, your Conveyor Belt will jam in the first ten seconds. The whole puzzle revolves around avoiding the obvious bait in the center and peeling back the Mystery Boxes safely.

The M-Shaped Trap in Marble Sort Level 442

Let us look exactly at how this specific board is built so you understand why you keep failing.

The Top Tray is an "M" shape heavily fortified by Mystery Boxes. On the far left and right edges, you have four Tunnels. Each of these has a "2" on it, meaning they are holding multiple hidden marble drops that will eventually force their way onto your board. You can see a few distinct colors peeking out of the upper rows—a Red and Light Blue on the left, a Purple and Green on the right—but they are entirely blocked.

The front line of the Top Tray gives you only three immediately playable options: a Pink box on the left, a Purple box in the center, and a Green box on the right.

Now look at your bottom Boxes. This is where the trap snaps shut. The front row of your bottom Boxes requires Red, Green, Light Blue, and Purple.

Do you see the problem?

Pink is sitting right in front of your face in the Top Tray, begging to be clicked. But the first Pink bottom Box is buried in the second column, completely trapped underneath a Green box! If you release that front Pink box early, it has nowhere to go. It will drop onto the Conveyor Belt and sit there. It takes up vital space. It ruins your maneuvering room. This is pure bait.

Your lower Boxes are stacked in a very specific, stubborn way. The first column is a brutal stack of Red followed by three White boxes. You need a massive amount of White marbles to clear that left side, but there are zero White marbles visible at the start. They are all hiding inside the Tunnels and behind the Mystery Boxes.

You have to play this in a very strict order. One wrong tap on a hidden color will flood the Conveyor Belt and end your run.

Beating the Front Row Bait in Marble Sort Level 442

The opening sequence requires extreme discipline. Ignore what looks easy. Focus strictly on what the bottom row accepts right now.

1. Ignore the Pink box completely. Leave it sitting in the Top Tray.
2. Tap the front right Green box. This drops green marbles onto the Conveyor Belt and immediately feeds them into the Green bottom Box in the second column.
3. Tap the front center Purple box. This sends purple marbles straight into the Purple bottom Box in the fourth column.
4. Watch the bottom board shift. Clearing that first Green box just revealed the Pink bottom Box underneath it.
5. Now you can safely tap the front Pink box from the Top Tray. It will drop and immediately clear.

Managing the Mystery Boxes in Marble Sort Level 442

With the bait cleared, the board opens up. Now you face the "M" wall of Mystery Boxes. You have to drill into these carefully because you desperately need the colors hidden behind them.

6. Check your Conveyor Belt space. You should have plenty of room now. Tap the lowest center Mystery Box in the dip of the "M" shape.
7. React to the color that drops. If it is Green or Purple, feed it into the newly exposed boxes in columns three and four.
8. Keep your eyes on the left side of the bottom board. You need to clear that top Red box. Work on exposing the top-left area of the Top Tray where the Red marbles are visible.
9. Tap the Red box as soon as it is unblocked. This clears the first column and exposes the brutal stack of three White bottom Boxes.

Surviving the Final Tunnel Drops in Marble Sort Level 442

This is where the late-game pressure spikes. The four Tunnels on the edges are going to start spitting out boxes.

10. Watch the top Tunnels. They are holding the White marbles you need for that massive left-side stack. When a White box pushes out of a Tunnel, send it down immediately to start chewing through that left column.
11. Pace your clears. Do not tap multiple Mystery Boxes back-to-back. Tap one. Let it drop to the Conveyor Belt. See if it matches a front-row bottom Box. If it does not, you must clear a different color to unblock it before tapping another unknown box.
12. The side Tunnels will eventually drop Black and Blue boxes. Keep your middle bottom Boxes cycling so you always have an open slot when these late colors force their way onto the belt. Cycle the remaining Purple and Light Blue boxes to keep the belt flowing and finish the level.
