Marble Sort Level 731 Guide: The Hidden Crate and Double Lock Trap
Marble Sort Level 731 is a massive traffic jam waiting to happen. The board throws a brutal combination at you right from the start. You are dealing with two separated zones in the Top Tray, a heavily restricted Conveyor Belt, and a dual Lock and Key setup that completely halts your progress. The dominant colors clogging your view are light green, light blue, purple, and white.
The real nightmare here is the sequencing. You can clearly see one key, but the second key is completely missing from the board. If you just start dropping marbles without a plan, you will fill your limited belt space with dead colors and fail within ten moves. You have to open the board in a highly specific order to survive.
The Crate and Key Pattern in Marble Sort Level 731
Take a hard look at the Top Tray before you tap anything. This board is split into two distinct islands with completely different traps.
On the left side, you have a massive cluster of boxes. The bottom row is packed with dark blue, yellow, green, pink, and red marbles. Stacked on top of them are heavy layers of white, green, light blue, and purple. Tucked into the top right corner of this left island is a wooden Crate. This is your biggest obstacle. A Crate hides four boxes and refuses to open until the adjacent boxes drop.
Now look at the right side of the Top Tray. It is locked down tight by a nasty Lock and Key mechanic. There is a purple lock chaining down two orange boxes at the top. Below that sits a light blue box with a purple key right on top of it. Grabbing that key is easy. But look lower. There is a heavy gold lock chaining up a purple box at the very bottom. Where is the gold key? It is nowhere on the visible board.
That hidden key is the trap of Marble Sort Level 731. The game baits you into focusing on the right side because the purple key is visible. Do not fall for it. The gold key is buried inside the Crate on the left side. If you push too many right-side marbles onto the Conveyor Belt trying to clear space, you will run out of room before you ever crack that Crate.
Your starting lower Boxes heavily demand light green and light blue. The second wave asks for white, pink, and purple. The board forces you to work front-to-back, strictly managing which side gets priority.
Marble Sort Level 731 Step-by-Step Walkthrough
You need aggressive belt management here. The Conveyor Belt is tiny, and dropping the wrong color early will instantly brick your run. Follow this exact sequence to crack the Crate and unblock the right side.
Opening the Left Crate in Marble Sort Level 731
The opening moves are all about feeding the bottom Boxes exactly what they want while chipping away at the left side.
- Feed the green and blue. Your first available lower Boxes need light green and light blue. Drop the light green marbles from the left side first.
- Grab the purple key. Drop the light blue box from the right side. This instantly collects the purple key and shatters the top purple lock, freeing the two orange boxes. Do not touch those orange boxes yet.
- Peel the left island. Start dropping the white, purple, and remaining light blue marbles from the left side as the lower Boxes slide up to accept them.
- Isolate the Crate. Your sole objective right now is to clear the boxes touching the wooden Crate. Ignore the dark blue, yellow, pink, and red boxes at the bottom of the left island unless the Conveyor Belt specifically demands them.
Revealing the Gold Key in Marble Sort Level 731
Once the boxes around the Crate drop, the board completely changes. The wood shatters and reveals what you actually need to beat the level.
- Spot the gold key. The opened Crate reveals a white box, a green box, and a crucial red box carrying the gold key.
- Clear the path for red. You must get that red box down to the Conveyor Belt. Shift your focus to clearing whatever lower Boxes are currently blocking red from being accepted.
- Unlock the bottom right. Drop the red box with the gold key. The moment it hits the belt, the gold lock on the right side breaks. The trapped purple box is finally free.
- Watch the jam risk. Right after the gold lock breaks, a massive flood of newly available colors will tempt you. The left side bottom row (dark blue, yellow, green, pink, red) and the right side orange boxes are all open. Do not dump them randomly. Check your lower Boxes and only send what matches.
Surviving the Final Squeeze in Marble Sort Level 731
The board is wide open now, but the level is not over. The late game is purely about traffic control.
- Clear the freed orange and purple. The top orange boxes and the bottom purple box on the right side have been clogging up space all game. Drop them the second the matching lower Boxes slide into view.
- Drain the bottom left row. The dark blue, yellow, pink, and green boxes at the bottom of the left side are your final major cluster. Release them systematically. If you are waiting on a yellow Box to slide up, let the other colors sit tight in the Top Tray.
- Finish the stragglers. Match the final few red and pink marbles to clear the belt. Keep your releases tight and you will conquer the board.
