Marble Sort Level 396 thrives on hiding the exact colors you need while shoving useless colors right in your face. The dominant visible colors are Green, Light Blue, Pink, and Black. But what you can see is only half the puzzle. You have two massive Tunnels holding four marbles each. You have two hidden Surprise Bag obstacles waiting to ruin your day.

If you just start tapping colors that match, your Conveyor Belt will jam in under ten seconds. We need a specific extraction order.

The Cross-Shaped Trap in Marble Sort Level 396

This board is arranged in a bulky cross shape, and the center is entirely locked down. Look closely at how the top layer is built. You cannot just play what you want. The game forces your hand.

Right in the middle sits a 2x2 dashed blue zone holding Green, Purple, and Orange marbles. This central block cuts off your left-to-right movement. To the top left, you have an isolated Black marble. On the far right, a Red/Brown marble sits next to a pink one.

You have to play this board from the outside in. We need to clear space on the Conveyor Belt without touching the bait colors.

Surviving the Opening in Marble Sort Level 396

Your first moves dictate the entire run. We are ignoring the Dark Blue demand. We are also ignoring the Black demands at first, because there is only one visible Black marble on the top left. Sending it down now is a death sentence for your belt space.

We go for Green.

1. Tap the isolated Green marbles first. Grab the Green marble on the middle-left edge (right next to the left Tunnel).
2. Pull the bottom Greens. Grab the Green marble on the bottom-left corner and the Green marble on the bottom-right corner.
3. Clear the first Box. Sending these three Green marbles down clears the second bottom Box.
4. Hold your fire. Do not tap the Black marble yet. Do not tap the Pink or Light Blue marbles yet. The bottom demands have now shifted because that Green Box cleared.
5. Open the first Surprise Bag. With the bottom-left Green marble gone, the space around the lower Surprise Bag is opening up. Reveal it. Whatever color pops out of that grey fabric dictates your next emergency match.

Clearing that first Green Box usually drags a new demand into the bottom row. Now we have breathing room. It is time to open the top left corner.

2. Manage the Black marbles. If the left Tunnel spits out Black marbles, immediately match them with the isolated Black marble on the top left. Send them all to the Conveyor Belt to clear the first bottom Black Box.
3. Attack the central dashed zone. Once the left side is moving, you can start chipping away at the middle. Grab the Green marble from the top-left of that central 2x2 square.
4. Reveal the right Surprise Bag. Work your way down the right side. Clear the Orange and Red/Brown marbles only when you have a matching bottom Box ready. Once they move, pop that second Surprise Bag.
