Marble Sort Level 387 Guide: The Yellow Bait and Lock Trap

This board is built to trick you right from the start. You drop in, look at the front line, and think you have an easy clear. You don’t. Marble Sort Level 387 is entirely about avoiding the obvious moves so you don't instantly clog your Conveyor Belt.

The dominant colors you need early are Orange, Pink, and Dark Green, but the Top Tray wants to force-feed you Yellow and Light Blue. If you take the bait, you lose. To survive this one, you have to surgically dismantle the right side of the board to grab the gold key and shatter the Lock and Key obstacle holding the upper half hostage.

The Crate and Chain Blockade in Marble Sort Level 387

Look closely at how this specific board is arranged. The Top Tray is split right down the middle with a vertical gap. The bottom edge of the top layout presents Light Blue, Orange, Pink, Yellow, and Light Green.

Now look down at the bottom Boxes. The front row demanding immediate fills consists of an Orange Box, a Dark Green Box, a Dark Blue Box, and a Pink Box.

Notice the massive disconnect. There is no Yellow bottom Box anywhere in the visible first two rows. There is no Light Green bottom Box in the front row. If you tap that Yellow marble or that Light Green marble on the right side of the Top Tray, they will sit on your Conveyor Belt forever. That is pure bait.

The real progress is blocked behind heavy obstacles. A giant wooden Crate sits low on the right side, blocking a huge chunk of playable marbles. Above that, a heavy iron chain secures a Lock and Key mechanism. The gold key is resting on the right edge, just above a block you need to clear.

On the left side, another Crate sits high up, burying several Hidden Box layers (the grey blocks with question marks). Sitting at the very top of the board are five blue Tunnels, each marked with a 3. These Tunnels mean that late-board pressure will be extreme. Once you clear the front lines, those Tunnels will spit out 15 hidden marbles, and if your Conveyor Belt is already crowded with early bait, you will instantly fail.

Marble Sort Level 387 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

You have to play this board front-to-back, strictly ignoring the colors you don't have immediate homes for. Control the Conveyor Belt first, then break the right side open.

Dodging the Front Row Bait in Marble Sort Level 387

The opening moves dictate whether you survive the first minute of this board. You must ignore the right side of the starting line entirely.

  1. Tap the Orange marble in the second column of the Top Tray. It immediately flows into the front-left Orange Box.
  2. Tap the Pink marble in the third column. It flows into the front-right Pink Box.
  3. Stop right there. Leave the Light Blue, Yellow, and Light Green exactly where they are.
  4. Look at the Hidden Box blocks you just exposed. You need to uncover Dark Green or Dark Blue to clear the rest of the front row of bottom Boxes.
  5. As the Orange and Pink bottom Boxes clear, the lower board shifts. You will now see a Light Blue Box slide forward in the second column. Now, and only now, tap the Light Blue marble on the far left of the Top Tray.

Breaking the Right Crate and Grabbing the Key in Marble Sort Level 387

With the front lines pushed back, the level opens up, but the trap shifts to the right side. You have to break that lower right Crate and get the gold key.

  1. Focus your taps on the right side of the Top Tray, right below the gold key.
  2. You need to clear the marbles adjacent to the Crate. Every time you clear a touching block, the wooden Crate takes damage. Clear three adjacent marbles to smash it completely.
  3. Dropping the block directly under the gold key activates it. The key will fly up and unlock the Lock and Key chain spanning the upper right.
  4. Do this fast. The moment that chain breaks, the upper right section becomes playable, giving you the color matches you need to clear the stubborn Dark Green and Dark Blue Boxes waiting at the bottom.
  5. Navigate the Hidden Box minefield carefully. Every grey question mark block you reveal dictates your next move. If a Hidden Box reveals a color you don't have a bottom Box for, leave it alone. Do not force it onto the Conveyor Belt.

Surviving the Late Tunnels in Marble Sort Level 387

The board changes drastically once the right side is clear. The left side is still buried under a high Crate, and you now have to deal with the Tunnels.

  1. Shift your focus to the upper left. Start clearing the blocks around the high left Crate.
  2. Break the left Crate to expose the remaining Hidden Box blocks underneath.
  3. Watch the bottom Boxes closely. The third row contains three Hidden Box containers. As they slide into the active front slot, their color will finally reveal. Keep at least two slots open on your Conveyor Belt so you can juggle unexpected color demands.
  4. Trigger the blue Tunnels one by one. Do not rapid-fire tap them. Wait for a Tunnel to spit out its 3 marbles, see what colors they are, and route them to the matching bottom Boxes before touching the next Tunnel.
  5. Clear the final remaining colors from the top left to finish the board. Keep your belt clean, and the final matches will sort themselves.
