You load up this board and immediately see the problem. A massive vertical chain cuts the entire play area in half. Marble Sort Level 504 does not let you mix the left and right sides easily. You are dealing with a heavy spread of Dark Blue, Yellow, Orange, Green, and Purple marbles, all chopped up by annoying obstacles.

Right out of the gate, you have to manage a Panel in the top-left corner marked with a "2". The bottom Boxes look completely mismatched with the front row of the Top Tray. If you start pulling colors at random just to see what is underneath, you will jam your board in seconds. This puzzle is entirely about trigger order. You need to open that top-left Panel immediately, or you will run out of playable moves before the midgame even starts.

Take a hard look at how this exact board is built. The dominant feature is the Lock and Key chain running dead center. Because of this lock, the left side and right side of the Top Tray are isolated.

On the left side of the chain, the front row holds Dark Blue, Green, and Purple marbles. Sitting directly behind them is a vertical Tunnel loaded with purple and light blue pieces.

You have to play the exact colors the board gives you for free. Control your Conveyor Belt space and focus entirely on dropping the top-left Panel counter down to zero.

Beating the First Moves in Marble Sort Level 504

The opening is rigid. You have a very specific set of safe moves to make before the board opens up.

1. Check your bottom Boxes. The second slot wants Dark Blue. The fourth slot wants Yellow.
2. Look at the front row of the Top Tray. You have Dark Blue marbles sitting perfectly on the far left. You have Yellow marbles sitting just to the right of the center chain.
3. Tap the Dark Blue marbles first. Send them to the Conveyor Belt so they instantly clear the second bottom Box.
4. Tap the Yellow marbles next. They drop down and instantly clear the fourth bottom Box.
5. Watch the top-left corner. You just achieved the two required clears. The Panel completely vanishes, exposing a new section of the board.

Do not touch anything else until this happens. Digging for the buried Orange marbles before breaking that Panel is a guaranteed loss.

Managing Tunnels and Hidden Boxes in Marble Sort Level 504

With the Panel gone, the midgame begins. The lower Boxes have shifted. Underneath that first Dark Blue clear, you now have a Yellow bottom Box. Underneath the first Yellow clear, you now have a Purple bottom Box.

Your active bottom Boxes are now Orange, Yellow, Orange, Purple. The pressure is on.

1. Now you must dig for Orange. Carefully pull the Green and Light Blue marbles from the front-right of the Top Tray down to the Conveyor Belt. You are using the belt strictly as temporary storage.
2. With the path clear, grab the Orange marbles. Send them into the two waiting Orange bottom Boxes.
3. Clearing those Orange boxes is going to reveal Green and Light Blue bottom Boxes underneath. This is perfect. The Green and Light Blue marbles you just parked on the Conveyor Belt will now automatically fly into their matching homes.
4. Turn your attention to the left side. You need to clear that front Purple block so the vertical Tunnel can activate. Drop it into the active Purple bottom Box.
5. As the vertical Tunnel spits out its pieces, deal with them immediately. Do not let the Tunnel flood your belt.

Breaking the Center Chain in Marble Sort Level 504

You are in the final stretch. The upper section of the board is full of Hidden Box tiles that are slowly flipping over as you clear the lower rows.

1. Keep pushing up into the Hidden Box territory. You are looking for the key to unlock the center chain.
2. Once the key is exposed, prioritize clearing its box immediately.
3. The moment the Lock and Key mechanism shatters, the left and right sides of the Top Tray finally merge.
4. Trigger the horizontal Tunnel sitting at the top.
5. Clean up the remaining Red, Pink, and White marbles clustered in the upper right. Because the chain is gone, you have the visual clarity and the Conveyor Belt space to easily sort the final few colors and finish the level.
