Marble Sort Level 418 Guide: The Double Crates and Ice Trap

This board is a masterclass in baiting you. Two giant Crates dominate the top corners. A blue Tunnel sits right in the dead center counting down from three. The left and right flanks of the board are completely locked down by Iced Boxes. You are staring at a frozen, restricted board with almost zero room to maneuver.

The color layout demands precision. The bottom row of the Top Tray gives you a sequence of Purple, White, Brown, Green, and Pink. It looks like a generous, colorful spread. It is a complete lie. Look immediately at your lower Boxes. The absolute front line demands Brown, Pink, Brown, and Purple.

Notice the massive problem right away. You have two Brown lower Boxes demanding marbles, but only one Brown marble block is free to drop from the middle of the Top Tray. You cannot clear the front line immediately. You have to dig into the frozen sides to access the colors you actually need. One wrong tap will ruin your run.

The Frozen Flank Pattern in Marble Sort Level 418

To beat this level, you need to understand exactly how the board is layered. The Top Tray is heavily guarded. Those two massive wooden Crates with the big X on them in the upper corners will not budge until you clear the blocks underneath them.

Right under those Crates, you have Iced Boxes. The far-left column features an iced Pink block over an iced Purple block. The far-right column features an iced Orange block over an iced Pink block. These frozen blocks are entirely unplayable until you drop the regular blocks sitting directly next to them.

The lower Boxes dictate your entire opening strategy in Marble Sort Level 418. The front row requires Brown, Pink, Brown, and Purple. Behind that first wave, the second row is hiding an Orange, Pink, Orange, and Purple lineup. Tucked even deeper in the third row, you can spot Purple, White, Pink, and White.

The White and Green blocks sitting perfectly free in the center of the Top Tray are absolute traps. There are no White or Green lower Boxes anywhere in the front or second rows. If you tap that White or Green block, it will drop straight onto your Conveyor Belt and sit there. The Conveyor Belt has limited space. Burning slots on useless colors early is the fastest way to fail this specific layout. You must work from the outside edges inward to shatter the ice.

Marble Sort Level 418 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

Your priority is shattering the ice on the flanks to feed the front row of lower Boxes. Ignore the center. Do not touch the Tunnel yet. Keep your Conveyor Belt as empty as humanly possible.

Surviving the Opening Trap in Marble Sort Level 418

The first moves require strict discipline. You have to clear the right colors to crack the ice without clogging your limited belt space.

  1. Tap the Purple block sitting on the bottom left of the Top Tray. This feeds perfectly into the front-right Purple lower Box.
  2. Tapping that Purple block cracks the ice on the purple block directly above it.
  3. Tap the Pink block sitting on the bottom right of the Top Tray. This feeds the front middle-left Pink lower Box.
  4. Tapping that Pink block cracks the ice on the orange block directly above it.
  5. Now tap the center Brown block. Send it to either of the two Brown lower Boxes waiting in the front. You will still need more Brown marbles, but you have successfully opened up the middle of the board.
  6. Leave the White and Green blocks exactly where they are. Do not release them.

Cracking the Ice and Opening Crates in Marble Sort Level 418

Once you clear those initial bottom-row blocks, the mechanics of the board start working for you instead of against you. Breaking the Iced Boxes is mandatory to progress.

  1. Now that the ice is broken on the far-left Purple block, drop it. It will finish filling the front-right lower Box.
  2. When that front-right Purple Box clears, the Purple lower Box in the second row slides forward.
  3. Drop the newly un-iced Orange block from the right flank. The second row of lower Boxes has two Orange targets waiting for it.
  4. You must clear the three blocks directly adjacent to the large wooden Crates. Once you clear the left and right flanks, the Crates will shatter, revealing the back wall of the board.
  5. With the flanks cleared, the blue Tunnel in the top middle finally activates. It is marked with a 3, meaning it will spit out three consecutive blocks.

Managing the Tunnel Chaos in Marble Sort Level 418

This is where the board violently shifts. After the Crates break and the front lower Boxes clear, the midgame gets incredibly messy.

  1. The blue Tunnel will drop a Light Blue block right into the center of the Top Tray.
  2. The lower Boxes will cycle deeply. You will suddenly be staring at a front line demanding Red, Dark Blue, Pink, and Green.
  3. Now you can finally drop that Green block you left behind at the very start. Feed it into the new Green lower Box on the front right.
  4. The Conveyor Belt pressure spikes hard right now. You will likely have leftover Orange or White blocks taking up critical slots from the mid-board transition.
  5. Focus entirely on matching the colors dropping out of the Tunnel.
  6. If you pull a color from the newly opened upper corners that does not match the Red, Dark Blue, or Pink lower Boxes, you will lock your board.

Play the remaining drops strictly front-to-back. Clear the Tunnel drops the second they appear. Never leave a mismatched block on the belt just to see what is underneath it. Clear the front, wait for the lower targets to shift, and then pull the next required color.
