Marble Sort Level 247 Guide: The Mystery Box Minefield and x2 Multiplier Trap

This board is a massive headache if you start tapping without a plan. You load in and immediately face a massive wall of grey squares. Almost the entire center of the board is hidden. You have frozen corners. You have an untouchable column.

In Marble Sort Level 247, the dominant colors staring you down are Purple, Yellow, and Green. But the real threat is the massive block of grey Mystery Boxes taking up the center of the Top Tray. You also have a dangerous x2 Multiplier Gate sitting on the right side. It looks helpful. It is actually a trap if you route the wrong color through it.

Do not rush the opening. One bad click here leaves you with a dead board.

The Mystery Box Wall in Marble Sort Level 247

Let’s look at exactly how this board is stacked against you. The layout is brutal because it feeds you colors you cannot use right away.

The Top Tray is framed by Iced Boxes in all four corners. Top left is Iced Red. Top right is Iced Green. Bottom left is Iced Orange. Bottom right is Iced Red. You cannot touch any of these until you clear the boxes next to them.

The center of the Top Tray is totally obscured by Mystery Boxes. On the middle-left, there is a specific 2x2 blue-striped block of these hidden squares. The right side features a short green pipe—your Multiplier Gate.

Now look down at the bottom Boxes. This is where the real puzzle is. You have four columns to manage:

  • Far-left column: Purple on top, followed by Green, Red, Red, Yellow.
  • Middle-left column: Orange on top, followed by Orange, Orange, Green.
  • Middle-right column: Purple on top, followed by Red, Yellow, Purple.
  • Far-right column: Purple on top, followed by Green, Yellow, Purple.

Three out of your four bottom Boxes need Purple to clear. The middle-left stack needs Orange.

Here is the ultimate bait in Marble Sort 247: Look at the bottom row of your Top Tray. You have Dark Blue, Green, Light Green, Yellow, Yellow, and a single Purple Box. You have zero Orange. That middle-left Orange stack is entirely dead. Do not try to force it. Your only move is to attack the Purples.

Marble Sort Level 247 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

You need to surgically peel the bottom row of the Top Tray to force the grey Mystery Boxes to drop and reveal their true colors. Space on the Conveyor Belt is incredibly tight. Manage your drops perfectly.

Piercing the First Layer in Marble Sort Level 247

Your opening moves dictate the entire flow of the midgame. You must clear the Purple caps off the bottom stacks to expose the playable colors underneath.

  1. Drop the Purple Box: Tap the single Purple Box sitting at the bottom right of the Top Tray. It will drop down and clear one of the top Purple bottom Boxes.
  2. Target the Greens: Clearing that first Purple exposes Green bottom Boxes on both the far-left and far-right columns. Tap the Green Box sitting in the lower-left of the Top Tray.
  3. Unload the Yellows: You have two Yellow Boxes sitting side-by-side in the bottom center of the Top Tray. Drop them both. This will clear the Yellow bottom Box that gets exposed in the middle-right column.
  4. Ignore the Dark Blue and Light Green: Leave the Dark Blue and Light Green boxes sitting on the left side of the Top Tray. You do not have bottom Boxes for them yet. Dropping them now will instantly crowd your Conveyor Belt and push you toward a game over.
  5. Watch the Mystery Boxes Reveal: As you pull the Green, Yellow, and Purple out of the bottom row, the grey Mystery Boxes above them will drop down and flip.

Surviving the Midgame Jam in Marble Sort Level 247

Once the first layer is gone, the board completely changes identity. The grey squares disappear, and suddenly you are flooded with Light Blue, Pink, and Red.

This is the most dangerous part of Marble Sort Level 247. The bottom Boxes will cycle into new stacks. You will suddenly face columns demanding Red, Light Blue, and Pink.

  1. Do not clog the Conveyor Belt: If you drop Light Green and Pink boxes without an immediate clear, your Conveyor Belt will fill up fast. The belt can only hold so many marbles before the level jams. Only tap Pink if a Pink bottom Box is currently active.
  2. Use the Multiplier Gate carefully: The x2 Multiplier Gate on the right is now fully exposed. Drop a Light Blue or Red Box through this gate only if you need a fast clear on a bottom stack. Do not drop a color through the gate if you only need one more marble to clear a bottom Box. The extra copied marbles will spill onto the Conveyor Belt and ruin your spacing.
  3. Attack the Middle-Left: Once the Orange stack finally clears, the middle-left column reveals heavy Pink and Light Blue requirements. Route your newly revealed Light Blue boxes from the center of the Top Tray into these stacks.

Thawing the Corners to Finish Marble Sort 247

By the time the middle clears out, your only remaining obstacles are the four corners.

  1. Crack the Iced Boxes: You must clear the regular boxes directly adjacent to the Iced Boxes to thaw them.
  2. Save the Red for last: The Iced Red boxes in the top-left and bottom-right corners will thaw late. Make sure you keep a Red bottom Box available for them.
  3. Clear the final Green: The Iced Green box in the top right will drop down last. Keep your Conveyor Belt completely empty during this final phase so the thawing marbles have a clean path to the finish line.
