Marble Sort Level 271 Guide: The Locked Mystery Box and Crate Trap

Marble Sort Level 271 is a massive headache of blocked space and hidden colors. Right from the start, this board locks down your options. You are staring at a heavy mix of Cyan, Dark Green, Purple, and Red marbles, but almost none of them match the active bottom Boxes.

You have two massive obstacles hogging the board. On the left side, a giant 3x3 grid of Mystery Boxes is chained down by a Lock and Key. On the right side, a stack of three wooden Crates blocks an entire vertical column of marbles. Your working space is squeezed entirely into the center of the Top Tray, making it incredibly easy to jam your board early.

If you look at the Top Tray, you immediately see the problem. The front line of marbles ready to drop are Dark Green, Cyan, Purple, Cyan, and Dark Green.

The three wooden Crates on the right side are hiding crucial marbles. You cannot clear the Dark Blue Boxes until you break those Crates or pop the Lock and Key holding the Mystery Boxes on the left. The entire puzzle comes down to micro-managing the limited space on your Conveyor Belt while you blind-dig for Dark Blue.

You need a strict order of operations here. Do not tap marbles just because they are loose. Every single slot on your belt matters.

Surviving the Opening Moves in Marble Sort Level 271

The first few taps will make or break your run. You have to open up the center of the board without suffocating your belt.

Tap the center Purple marble block first. Send it straight into the active Purple Box on the far left.
Clearing that Purple Box reveals a Red Box in the second row. This is exactly what you want.
Now you need Red marbles. Look at the center columns. The Red marbles are trapped directly behind the Cyan blocks.
Carefully drop exactly one or two Cyan blocks onto the Conveyor Belt. Do not touch the outer Dark Green blocks yet. Leave them where they are.
With the Cyan marbles parked out of the way, grab the Red marbles from the middle column. Feed them into the active Red Boxes.

Breaking the Crates in Marble Sort Level 271

Once the center starts clearing out, you have to deal with the right side of the board. The Dark Blue Boxes are completely stalling your progress.

Focus your matches on the marbles physically touching the three wooden Crates on the right.
As you clear the adjacent Red, Grey, and Purple blocks in the middle-right columns, the Crates will finally shatter.
Breaking the Crates reveals the hidden colors you desperately need, including the missing Dark Blue marbles.
Immediately route the newly revealed Dark Blue marbles into the two active Dark Blue Boxes in the front row.
Clearing these specific Boxes will trigger the Lock and Key on the left side of the board.

The mid-game completely changes the layout. Once the padlock drops, all nine Mystery Boxes on the left side of the Top Tray reveal themselves.

Check your lower Boxes. The active targets will now shift heavily to Grey, Teal, and Dark Green.
Now is the time to finally use those Dark Green marbles you left sitting on the far edges of the Top Tray at the very beginning of the level. Drop them into the active Boxes.
Pull the Grey marbles from the newly opened Mystery Box section on the left.
Keep a close eye on the Conveyor Belt. You will likely have leftover Cyan or White marbles taking up space. Prioritize clearing the Boxes that match whatever is currently clogging your belt. Clear the Light Green and Grey targets to wrap up the board.
