Marble Sort Level 518 Guide: The Tunnel Trap and Hidden Lock

This board is a massive bait-and-switch. At first glance, you have plenty of open colors on the edges. Do not fall for it. The real nightmare here is a combination of vertical obstacles in the middle and a nasty unlock sequence hidden deep in the right corner.

Your dominant colors are Dark Blue, White, Light Pink, and Red, but they are scattered behind terrible blockers. You have four Tunnels controlling the flow of traffic. The two vertical ones in the dead center will ruin your run if you trigger them too early. Manage your limited space, or you will jam up fast.

The Tunnel and Mystery Box Grid in Marble Sort Level 518

Look closely at how this specific Top Tray is built. It is split into two massive pillars of loose marbles, separated by two vertical Tunnels sitting side-by-side.

The left pillar is stacked high. You have a Light Green marble near the top, followed by Orange, Light Pink, White, and Dark Blue. Down at the very bottom of that left column, sitting completely exposed, are a Red Box and a Yellow Box.

The right pillar is just as messy. You are looking at Dark Red, Dark Blue, White, Light Green, Purple, Light Pink, and another Dark Blue. A horizontal Tunnel caps the bottom right edge.

Your bottom Boxes dictate exactly how you must open this board. The outer columns are terrifying. The far-left column starts with a Dark Blue Box, but underneath it are three Mystery Boxes. The far-right column starts with a Light Pink Box, followed by three more Mystery Boxes. You have no idea what those grey boxes with question marks will demand once they slide up.

The inner columns are your only safe zone. You have visible White, Purple, Red, Light Pink, and Yellow Boxes waiting to be filled.

Here is the catch. A Lock and Key sequence is secretly governing the midgame. The third column of your bottom Boxes will eventually slam shut with a giant padlock. To break it, you need the key. That key is trapped inside a Yellow Box buried under the right side of the Top Tray. If you flood your Conveyor Belt with random colors from the vertical Tunnels before you reach that key, you will instantly fail the level.

Follow this release order to keep the board moving. Space on the bottom is your most valuable resource. Play the edges first. Leave the center alone.

Controlling the Initial Blue and Pink Bait in Marble Sort Level 518

Your first taps need to target the outer edges of the lower slots so you can clear out the known colors before the grey blockers slide up.

1. Tap the exposed Dark Blue marbles from the left and right sides of the Top Tray. Send them down to clear the top Dark Blue Box in the first column.
2. Target the Light Pink marbles next. You have a Light Pink Box exposed in the fourth column, and a Light Pink marble sitting halfway up the left stack. Match them to get that Box out of your way.
3. Do not touch the vertical Tunnels in the center. They are completely off-limits right now. If you activate them, they will dump an unpredictable string of colors onto the Conveyor Belt.
4. Focus on the Red Box sitting at the bottom left of the upper board. Match it with the Red Box in the third column of the lower section.
5. Clear the White marbles from the upper side stacks. You have a White Box waiting in the second column. Getting this cleared starts digging you down toward the hidden mechanics on the right side.

Breaking the Lock and Managing the Conveyor Belt in Marble Sort Level 518

Once the initial layers are gone, the board shifts. The third column of your bottom Boxes will now show a massive padlock sitting right on top of a Yellow Box. You are officially blocked until you find the key.

1. Shift your entire focus to the lower right corner of the Top Tray. You need to clear the horizontal Tunnel and the remaining loose marbles sitting above the Yellow Box with the key symbol.
2. Drop the Light Green and Purple marbles only if you have matching lower Boxes ready. The second column has a Purple Box followed by a Light Pink and Light Green one. Use this sequence to keep the Conveyor Belt empty.
3. Tap the Yellow key Box. This shatters the padlock in the third lower column.
4. Immediately fill the newly unlocked Yellow Box to clear that column out.
5. Watch your Conveyor Belt pressure. It is very easy to end up with a jammed row of Purple, Dark Blue, Orange, and Red marbles right now if you are blindly tapping the center. Hold off on any color that does not have an active bottom slot.

Surviving the Final Mystery Box Chain in Marble Sort Level 518

With the middle open, you now have to deal with the six grey question marks on the outer edges.

1. Let the first Mystery Box on the left side slide up. Check its color. If the color is available in the center vertical Tunnels, now is the time to tap them.
2. Pulse the vertical Tunnels one tap at a time. Do not drain them completely. Extract only the exact marble you need to satisfy the current Mystery Box.
3. Alternate between the left and right outer columns. Clear one grey box, see what the next one demands, and pull it from the remaining top stack.
4. Keep at least three slots on the Conveyor Belt completely empty during this phase. If a Mystery Box asks for an Orange marble and your belt is full of leftover Green and Blue, you lose.
5. Funnel the final loose marbles from the cleared vertical obstacles into the last remaining lower slots to secure the win.
