Marble Sort Level 202 Guide: The Four-Tunnel Squeeze

Marble Sort Level 202 is a massive trap. You drop in and immediately see a ridiculous amount of Pink, Light Blue, and Orange marbles. It looks like an easy sweep. It is absolutely not.

The outer edges of the Top Tray are completely locked down by four numbered Tunnels. These black and yellow striped dispensers dictate the entire pace of the match. You cannot rush the edges. You have to play the middle.

Let’s lock in on exactly what is sitting in front of you.

The Four-Column Tunnel Pattern in Marble Sort Level 202

Look at the Top Tray. It is divided into four tight columns. The outer columns (1 and 4) are your biggest nightmare. Each outer column features two Tunnels, both marked with a '3'. These act as heavy dispensers. You cannot see what colors they are holding back until you clear the marbles sitting right in front of them.

Column 1 starts with a Pink marble, followed by a Green one, and then it immediately hits a Tunnel. Column 4 starts with two Pink marbles and then hits another Tunnel.

The middle two columns are your only safe zones. Column 2 gives you a straight shot at Light Blue, Light Blue, Blue, Red, Orange, and Yellow. Column 3 feeds you Orange, Green, Yellow, Green, Light Blue, and Orange.

Now look down at the bottom Boxes. The placement here is vicious. The front row demands Light Blue, Pink, Orange, and Green. Behind them sits a row needing Yellow, Pink, Purple, and Blue. The back row is a massive wall of Yellow and Pink. In fact, Column 2 of the bottom area is literally three Pink Boxes stacked back-to-back.

That triple-Pink stack is the ultimate bait in Marble Sort 202. Your brain sees three Pink Boxes and immediately wants to spam the Pink marbles from the outer columns of the Top Tray. Do not do it. If you trigger the Tunnels too early, they will dump unmatched colors onto the Conveyor Belt. You only have seven slots on that belt. Once it jams, the run is dead.

Marble Sort Level 202 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

You need a surgical approach to the opening moves. Leave the outer columns alone. We are going to carve out the middle of the board first.

Surviving the Opening Taps in Marble Sort Level 202

The start of this board is all about ignoring the loud colors and focusing on what easily matches the front line.

  1. Tap the two Light Blue marbles sitting at the front of Column 2 in the Top Tray.
  2. Pull the Light Blue marble buried slightly back in Column 3. This perfectly clears the front-left Light Blue Box.
  3. Move straight to the Orange. Tap the front Orange marble in Column 3.
  4. Grab the Orange marble from the middle of Column 2, and the other Orange marble from the back of Column 3. This clears the front Orange Box.
  5. You just opened up the bottom row. A Yellow Box and a Purple Box are now active and ready to receive.

Managing the Tunnel Dispensers in Marble Sort Level 202

Now things get volatile. You have cleared the easy middle matches. The front row still needs Green and Pink, and it is time to wake up the outer columns.

  1. Tap the two Pink marbles at the front of Column 4, and the single Pink marble at the front of Column 1.
  2. This clears the first Pink Box in the bottom area. More importantly, this triggers the lower Tunnels in the Top Tray.
  3. The black and yellow striped Tunnels will drop their counters from '3' to '2' and reveal new marbles.
  4. Keep an eye on the Conveyor Belt. You likely have Green and Red marbles exposed now. Tap the Green marble from Column 1 and the two Green marbles in Column 3.
  5. This knocks out the front-right Green Box, revealing a Blue Box underneath.
  6. Pull the Blue marble from Column 2. Wait for the Tunnels to dispense more Blue marbles to finish off that bottom Box.

Patience is your best weapon here. Every time a Tunnel drops a marble, check your active bottom Boxes. Never leave more than three unmatched marbles on the Conveyor Belt. If a Tunnel spits out a Red marble but you have no Red Box open, leave it in the Top Tray.

Clearing the Deep Pink Stack in Marble Sort Level 202

You are now staring at the endgame. The middle columns of the Top Tray should be nearly empty, leaving only a few Red and Yellow marbles. The outer Tunnels are down to '1' or are fully exhausted.

  1. Target the remaining Yellow marbles. Send them down to clear the Yellow Boxes on the left side of the lower area.
  2. With the left side cleared, the massive stack of Pink Boxes in the bottom-middle is finally unsupported.
  3. Unload every remaining Pink marble from the Tunnels. They will chain-clear the remaining Pink Boxes rapidly.
  4. Clean up the final Red and Purple stragglers. The Purple Box usually hides until the very end, so save your Purple marbles on the Top Tray until the front Orange Box is completely out of the way.

Keep your belt clean. Respect the dispensers. Marble Sort Level 202 falls apart easily once you realize the middle columns are the actual key to the locks on the outside.
