Marble Sort Level 308 Guide: The Split-Board Key Trap

Getting stuck here is completely normal. Marble Sort Level 308 uses a brutal center-divide layout that forces you to clear a very specific path before the rest of the board even becomes playable.

The dominant colors you have to deal with immediately are Brown, Green, Purple, and Dark Grey. The entire top area is split straight down the middle by a solid red divider. At the top, you have two Tunnels marked with a 3, a bunch of Hidden Boxes, and several Iced Boxes locking down the edges. The real nightmare is the Key system. You have keys attached to random boxes in the upper layers, and you desperately need them to open the locked Dark Grey bottom Box buried deep in the lower right-center stack.

Do not panic and start tapping the outer edges. If you dump corner colors onto the Conveyor Belt too early, you lose.

The Center Divide Pattern in Marble Sort Level 308

To beat this board, you need to understand exactly how the pieces are stacked against you. Look at the Top Tray. That massive red divider in the center dictates your entire opening strategy.

Right at the base of that divider, you have a single Brown box on the left and a single Green box on the right. These are your absolute first priorities. Above the Brown box sits a Dark Grey box. Above the Green box sits a Purple box.

Now look at the bottom Boxes waiting to receive marbles. The layout is highly specific. Column one starts with Purple. Column two starts with Green. Column three starts with Brown. Column four starts with Blue.

This bottom arrangement is perfectly synced with the center of the Top Tray. However, look under that active Brown bottom Box in column three. Right below it is a Dark Grey box, and beneath that is the locked Dark Grey box. You cannot clear that column until you collect the Keys.

The Keys in Marble Sort Level 308 are scattered in a truly annoying way. One is stuck on a Pink box on the left side. Another is stuck on a Dark Grey box on the right side. Two more are glued to grey boxes higher up near the Hidden Boxes (the ones with question marks).

1. Tap the Green box resting on the right side of the central divider. This drops right into the active Green bottom Box in column two.
2. Tap the Brown box on the left side of the divider. Send it straight into the active Brown bottom Box in column three.
3. Drop the newly exposed Purple box (right side, previously above the Green one) into the active Purple bottom Box in column one.
4. Tap the Dark Grey box (left side, previously above the Brown one). This will slide perfectly into the active Dark Grey bottom Box that just opened up in column three.

8. Ignore the Orange box on the right side. It is pure bait. There is still no active Orange bottom Box anywhere near the top of the stack.
9. Start working on the Blue boxes on the left to shatter the adjacent Yellow Iced Box. You need the ice broken before the lower board shifts again.

Once that bottom lock shatters, the board opens up drastically, but the late-game pressure spikes.

10. Clear the unlocked Dark Grey bottom Box immediately. This triggers a cascade that reveals exactly what you need to handle the upper section.
11. Tap the Hidden Boxes (the question marks) one at a single time. Wait to see what color drops onto the Conveyor Belt. If you spam-tap these, you will pull three different colors at once and jam your belt instantly.
12. Once the upper middle is clear, trigger the two top Tunnels. They hold 3 marbles each. Only tap them when you have at least two empty bottom Boxes ready to catch a massive color dump. Sort the tunnel spillway, clean up the remaining Iced Boxes on the flanks, and you are done.
