Marble Sort Level 44 Guide: The Dual Tunnel and Connected Box Trap
Stuck again? I get it. This board is deeply deceptive. The layout looks manageable right up until you hit the mid-game, make one wrong tap, and watch everything jam.
In Marble Sort Level 44, the dominant colors staring you down are White, Orange, Green, Purple, and a heavy dose of Grey. The Top Tray is blocky. It sits wide in the middle and funnels down to a narrow point at the bottom. But the real nightmare sits on the far left and far right edges. You have two Tunnels, each hiding three extra marbles.
Your starting bottom Boxes are demanding White, Orange, Purple, and White. You have to feed them in the right order, or the board locks up immediately.
The Connected Box minefield in Marble Sort Level 44
Look at your board right now. You need to map out where the colors are trapped.
The Top Tray starts with a flat front row consisting of White, Green, Grey, and Orange marbles. Directly below that, look at your four columns of active lower Boxes. From left to right, the active front boxes are asking for White, Orange, Purple, and White.
Do you see the immediate problem? The Green and Grey marbles sitting right in the middle of your front line are absolute bait. If you tap them, they will just drop and sit on the Conveyor Belt. They have nowhere to go. You must work the outside edges first.
The outer columns are heavily restricted. Above the front White marble on the left, you have Purple and Orange blocks trapped under a Tunnel marked with a '3'. On the far right, above the front Orange marble, you have Blue and White blocks stacked under another '3' Tunnel.
Then there is the middle of the board. It is laced with Connected Boxes. Look closely at the gaps between the blocks. You will see thick white bands linking Purple to Purple, Grey to Grey, and Red to White. When you tap one, both drop at the exact same time. If your Conveyor Belt only has one open slot and you tap a Connected Box, you are dead. The belt overflows. You fail.
The lower Boxes dictate everything here. Column one hides a second White, then Blue, Orange, and Green. Column two hides Red, Grey, Orange, and Purple. Column three hides Blue, Grey, Purple, and White. Column four hides Green, Grey, Grey, and Red.
The board plays front-to-back. But you have to force your way down the left and right flanks first. Opening the sides is the only way to activate those Tunnels.
Marble Sort Level 44 Step-by-Step Walkthrough
Beating the front row bait in Marble Sort Level 44
Your first moves dictate the rest of the game. Do not touch the middle. Keep your eyes on the outer columns.
- Tap the front White marble on the far left of the Top Tray. Drop it straight into the active White Box waiting in column one.
- Tap the front Orange marble on the far right. Send it down to the active Orange Box in column two.
- Stop. Ignore the Green and Grey marbles sitting in the middle of the front row. Leave them alone. Tapping them now is a guaranteed way to clog your Conveyor Belt.
- Look at the new blocks you just revealed. You exposed a Purple block on the left and a Blue block on the right.
- The right Tunnel will eventually spit out a Purple marble. You absolutely need Purple to clear the third bottom Box in your starting lineup. Focus on digging down the right side to get that Tunnel active.
Managing the Connected Boxes in Marble Sort Level 44
Clearing that first wave of White and Orange changes the whole board. The middle starts to open up. The traps get worse.
- Your next active bottom Boxes will ask for Red, Blue, and more Orange. The board is going to try to force you into the middle.
- Look at the Connected Boxes in the central layers. Before you tap any block with a white link attached to it, check your Conveyor Belt. You must have at least two empty slots. Do not gamble.
- If you need a Purple marble, but it is connected to another Purple marble you do not need yet, you have to eat the cost. Drop them both. Let one clear a Box. Let the other sit on the belt temporarily.
- Keep an eye on the left Tunnel. Once the blocks in front of it clear, it reveals an Orange marble. Time this drop carefully. Make sure you have an Orange Box waiting in the second row of your lower tray before you let it hit the belt.
- Now you can finally clear those front Green and Grey blocks. By this point, the lower Boxes should have cycled enough to accept them.
Surviving the final Tunnel drops in Marble Sort Level 44
The end of this level is entirely about managing the bottleneck on the outer edges. The middle will empty out, leaving you at the mercy of the hidden blocks.
- The center of the Top Tray clears much faster than the sides. You will be left staring at those two outer Tunnels.
- Keep working the central Blue and Red blocks to cycle your lower Boxes. You are looking for matches to whatever the Tunnels spit out next.
- Never let your Conveyor Belt fill past five slots during this late phase. The Tunnels push their contents out sequentially. If you miscount and the belt is full, the run ends.
- Clear the final stack of Grey and Green Boxes hidden at the very back of the bottom columns to finish the board. Keep your belt clean, play the outside edges, and you will easily clear it.
