Marble Sort Level 80 Guide: The Multiplier Gate and Frontline Bait Trap

Marble Sort Level 80 hits you with a massive visual overload right out of the gate. Your eyes immediately go to the giant wall of ? Panels and the central x2 Multiplier Gate sitting in the upper half of the board. But that is not what will kill your run. The real danger in this level is the deceptive frontline setup and the bait sitting right behind it.

This board is dominated by Pink, Green, Red, Dark Blue, and White marbles at the start. The Top Tray is perfectly arranged to give you a false sense of security, offering easy matches for the top row of your lower Boxes. However, the second row of the Top Tray is loaded with colors that have no matching Boxes anywhere in sight. If you start spam-tapping to clear the front, you will clog your Conveyor Belt with orphaned colors, and the level will choke out before you even reach the hidden midgame mechanics.

The Clustered Board Pattern in Marble Sort Level 80

Let’s look at exactly how this board is arranged so you know what you are dealing with. The Top Tray features a front line of six full marble clusters. From left to right, you have White, Pink, Green, two Dark Blues side-by-side, and Red.

Directly behind them sits the bait. The second row is made of single solid blocks: Red, Pink, Purple, Yellow, White, and Light Blue. Above that, the board turns into a fortress. A solid block of ? Panels covers the upper half, guarding a central x2 Multiplier Gate. At the very top, you have '4' Tunnels in the far left and right corners, and '2' Tunnels sitting dead center.

Now look at the bottom section. Your bottom Boxes are tightly packed into four vertical columns.

  • Column 1 (Left): Starts with Pink, followed by Dark Blue, another Dark Blue, and ends with a hidden Mystery Box.
  • Column 2: Starts with Green, then White, Green again, and a Blue box.
  • Column 3: Starts with Red, then Pink, Red again, and a Mystery Box.
  • Column 4 (Right): Starts with Green, then White, Dark Blue, and ends with a Mystery Box.

The trap is obvious once you map it out. You have two Green Boxes available in the front row (Columns 2 and 4), but only one Green cluster available in the front of the Top Tray. You also have Purple, Yellow, and Light Blue blocks sitting in the second row of the Top Tray, but absolutely zero Boxes for those colors on the current bottom board.

If you release those single mid-row blocks too early, they will drop onto the Conveyor Belt and sit there. The left side of your Conveyor Belt will quickly become a graveyard of Yellow and Orange marbles as the midgame unfolds. You must control your release order perfectly.

Marble Sort Level 80 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

The key to surviving Marble Sort 80 is discipline. You have to ignore the single blocks in the second row until their corresponding Boxes actually surface from the bottom.

Opening Moves and Clearing the Frontline Bait in Marble Sort Level 80

Your first taps need to strictly focus on the matching pairs sitting in the very front. Do not touch anything behind them.

  1. Tap the Pink and Red clusters first. Send the Pink cluster from the Top Tray into the Pink Box in Column 1. Send the Red cluster into the Red Box in Column 3. This immediately opens up a Dark Blue Box on the left and a Pink Box on the right.
  2. Fire the Green cluster. You have one Green cluster in the Top Tray and two Green Boxes waiting. It does not matter which one it drops into. Let it clear one of the Green Boxes to expose the White Box beneath it.
  3. Unload the Dark Blue clusters. You have two Dark Blue clusters sitting next to each other in the Top Tray. You also have Dark Blue Boxes waiting in Column 1 and Column 4. Tap both clusters to clear those Boxes out of the way.
  4. Drop the White cluster. Tap the White cluster on the far left of the Top Tray to fill the White Box you just exposed in Column 2.
  5. Hard Stop. Look at the board. You have now cleared the front line. The single solid blocks (Purple, Yellow, Light Blue) are now sitting at the front edge of the Top Tray. Do not touch them. There are no Boxes for them yet.

Pushing the Multiplier Gate in Marble Sort Level 80

Once the front line is cleared, the ? Panels will begin to recede, and the board completely shifts its identity. This is where the real pressure starts.

  1. Wait for the Panels to drop. As the ? Panels clear, new marble clusters will start dropping toward the x2 Multiplier Gate in the center.
  2. Watch the bottom Box shift. As you cleared the top layers of the bottom Boxes, new colors will finally surface. You will start seeing Light Blue, Orange, Yellow, and Purple Boxes appearing in the columns.
  3. Release the holding blocks. Now that you actually have a Purple Box and a Light Blue Box visible at the bottom, you can safely tap those single solid blocks that were acting as bait in the second row. Get them off the board to open up the center lanes.
  4. Route through the Multiplier. You will notice heavy Purple and Red clusters dropping down the center. You must guide them through the x2 Multiplier Gate. This gate doubles the marble count, allowing a single cluster to entirely fill a heavy bottom Box. If you route these poorly and they miss the gate, you will run out of marbles and fail the level.
  5. Manage the Conveyor Belt jam. During this phase, the left side of your Conveyor Belt is at massive risk of filling up with Yellow and Orange marbles dropping from the upper layers. Prioritize clearing the Yellow and Orange bottom Boxes the absolute second they become available to relieve this pressure.

Surviving the Tunnels and Mystery Boxes in Marble Sort Level 80

The final phase of the level is a race between your remaining space and the hidden obstacles.

  1. Expose the Mystery Boxes. By now, you should be reaching the bottom of the four columns where the ? Mystery Boxes are sitting. Clear the layers directly above them to reveal their required colors. You cannot plan your final tunnel drops until you know what these boxes need.
  2. Pop the Top Tunnels. The '4' Tunnels in the top corners and the '2' Tunnels in the center hold the final marbles needed to finish the board.
  3. Drop on demand. Do not blindly empty the Tunnels. Tap them one by one. If a '4' Tunnel spits out an Orange marble, check if you have an Orange Box ready. If you do, let it ride. If your Conveyor Belt is already heavily loaded from the midgame traffic jam, hold off on tapping the Tunnels until a box clears and creates breathing room. Focus purely on matching the newly revealed Mystery Boxes, and the board will finally clear.
