Marble Sort Level 493 Guide: The Candy Cane Trap and Dark Green Bait

This board is brutal if you get greedy early. The dominant colors staring you down are Dark Green, Cyan, Pink, and Orange.

Right at the start, the Top Tray is heavily restricted. Three massive vertical candy canes block the entire dead center of the board. You cannot access the middle until you force the board to open up. This leaves you fighting on the edges and the immediate bottom row.

If you blindly tap all three Dark Green clusters because they look easy, you will instantly flood your Conveyor Belt. It will fill up, the game will jam, and you will lose. Dark Green is absolute bait here.

Your immediate bottleneck is the Orange box on the far left. There is no Orange marble cluster in the front row. The Orange is buried on the left flank. Look behind the front-left Purple cluster. There is a vertical column containing Pink, Purple, and finally, Orange.

You also have to watch the side flanks. Both the left and right sides have blue countdown locks starting at the number 3. Every time you successfully clear one of the bottom Boxes, that number drops. When it hits zero, it spits out a new color cluster from the side. The right side is hiding Red. You need to clear three bottom Boxes just to get those side paths moving.

Your Conveyor Belt pressure is going to be highest on the left side. You have to move that front Purple cluster out of the way just to access the Orange you actually need.

1. Tap the single Pink cluster in the front row. This immediately drops into the second bottom Box and clears it. One lock countdown drops to 2.
2. Tap the first Dark Green cluster. Just one. Let it fill the third bottom Box. Do not touch the other two Dark Green clusters yet.
3. Tap one Cyan cluster to fill the far-right Cyan Box.
4. Now you have to fix the far-left side. Tap the front-left Purple cluster. It will drop onto the Conveyor Belt and just sit there. This is fine. You made room.
5. Tap the newly exposed Orange cluster on the left flank. It will bypass the Purple and fill the far-left Orange Box.
6. Clearing these initial Boxes is the trigger. The giant candy canes in the middle will vanish, and the board will finally open up.
