You load up this board and instantly see a massive cross-shaped Top Tray packed with bright colors. It looks like a fun, straightforward clear. It is not. Marble Sort Level 72 is designed to bait you into making one terrible move right at the start, and if you fall for it, your Conveyor Belt will lock up before you even clear the first row.

The dominant colors staring you down are Pink, Yellow, Orange, and Brown right in the thickest part of the cross. They are completely useless to you at the beginning. This level is a masterclass in trigger discipline. You have to ignore the bulk of the board and focus on the outer edges and the very bottom row of the top section to survive the opening.

Let us break down exactly what you are looking at because the layout here dictates every single move you make.

The Top Tray is shaped like a giant cross or sword. The top vertical column and the horizontal arms are stuffed with Orange, Brown, Yellow, and Pink marbles. Underneath the arms, tucked away on the left and right wings, are a few Green and White blocks hovering directly over two x2 Multiplier Gates.

Below the entire cross, sitting right on the lip of the funnel, is a row of blocks: Pink, White, Dark Blue, White, Light Blue, and Brown. These pieces form a blockade.

1. Look to the left and right wings of the Top Tray. Tap the Green blocks on the left. They will drop straight through the x2 Multiplier Gate.
2. Tap the White and Green blocks on the right wing. They will drop through the right-side x2 Multiplier Gate. This perfectly multiplies your marbles and instantly fills the front Green and White Boxes.
3. Now focus on the very bottom row of blocks hovering just above the funnel. Tap the Light Blue block and the White block from this row.
4. You need those Light Blue marbles to clear out the two Light Blue Boxes sitting directly in the middle of your front row.
5. Keep your hands off the top half of the cross. Leave the Pink, Orange, Yellow, and Brown completely alone. Let the first row of lower Boxes clear out and drop away.
