Marble Sort Level 543 Guide: The Numbered Barrier Trap

Marble Sort Level 543 is a nasty trap right out of the gate. You load in, look at the Top Tray, and see a massive, fully exposed cluster of red, brown, and green marbles on the right side. It looks so easy. Do not touch them. They are pure bait.

The real puzzle is locked down on the left. You are staring at numbered glass barriers holding the top-left columns hostage. The outer two glass covers have a 2 on them. The inner peak has a 3. These numbers count down only when you successfully clear a bottom Box. You have to score clears to break the glass, but the board is actively trying to starve you of the right colors.

Your starting Conveyor Belt has extremely limited space. One wrong tap on the right side of the board will clog your slots and instantly kill your run.

The Split Board Pattern in Marble Sort Level 543

This board is strictly divided into two zones: the locked left and the bait right.

Look at your starting lower Boxes. The front row is demanding light blue, dark blue, purple, and orange.

Now look at the Top Tray. The entire right side is stacked with pink, brown, red, and green marbles. There is not a single red or brown bottom Box waiting for you at the start. If you pull from that right-side cluster, those marbles will just sit on the Conveyor Belt and rot.

The colors you actually need are buried on the left side. The very bottom of the left columns features three textured square marbles: yellow, dark blue, and orange. Right next to them sits a lone light blue marble. Above these squares are the purple and yellow marbles you desperately need. And sitting directly on top of those columns are the numbered glass covers.

The order of play is dictated entirely by those front-row Boxes. You need to clear the light blue, dark blue, and purple Boxes first. Every time you finish a Box, the glass barriers at the top left tick down. You need two clears to shatter the outer glass and three clears to unlock the inner peak holding the yellow and green marbles. The right side of the board is basically useless until you force the left side open.

You have to play this board front-to-back. Ignore the easy targets. Control the belt.

Surviving the Early Game Bait in Marble Sort Level 543

Your first few taps will make or break the entire level. You must focus on the bottom-left of the Top Tray.

1. Leave the right side alone. Do not tap the pink, brown, or red marbles on the right block. You have nowhere to put them.
2. Target the front row Boxes. Your lower Boxes are asking for light blue, dark blue, purple, and orange. Find these exact colors at the bottom of the left-hand columns.
3. Pull the bottom squares. Tap the dark blue and orange textured squares sitting at the bottom left of the Top Tray. Send them to the Conveyor Belt to start filling those matching bottom Boxes.
4. Grab the light blue. There is a light blue marble sitting just to the right of those textured squares. Send it down to feed the light blue Box on the far left.
5. Feed the purple. Once you clear the bottom layer of the left columns, you will expose the purple marbles. Tap them immediately to fill the third bottom Box.
6. Watch the glass countdown. As you complete these initial Boxes, watch the glass domes at the top left. The 2s will drop to 1s, and then to 0s.

Breaking the Midgame Glass in Marble Sort Level 543

Once you score your first two clears, the board rips open. The outer glass domes will shatter, freeing the top-left corner. This is where the game shifts.

1. Adapt to the new Boxes. When your first wave of lower Boxes clears out, a new row slides up. You will suddenly face demands for green, yellow, pink, and brown Boxes.
2. Now you tap the right side. The massive cluster on the right is finally playable. Start pulling the green, pink, and brown marbles to feed this new wave of Boxes.
3. Do not flood the belt. Even though the right side is open, only pull the colors that match your current active Boxes. If you pull a red marble before a red Box is ready, it will just eat a slot on your Conveyor Belt.
4. Crack the final 3-barrier. You still have a glass cover with a 3 on it guarding the inner peak of the left side. You must score one more bottom Box clear to drop it to zero.
5. Flush the yellow and green. Once that final barrier breaks, the trapped yellow and green marbles will drop. Use them instantly to clear the yellow Boxes that have cycled into the front row.

Keep your eyes glued to the Conveyor Belt during this phase. Late-game pressure in this level happens when you open too many columns at once and mix up your drop order. Clear one complete Box at a time to keep your belt clean and finish the board.
