Marble Sort Level 516 Guide: The Numbered Center Trap

You load up Marble Sort Level 516 and immediately see the headache. The middle of the board is locked down hard. Three blue covers with the number "2" sit dead center in the Top Tray. They block the most critical part of the puzzle. Beneath those covers are frozen marbles.

The dominant colors you have to juggle early on are Red, Black, White, and Light Blue. The board is designed to make you panic-click the outer columns. Do not fall for it. The Conveyor Belt will punish you instantly. You have limited space. If you start grabbing every loose Yellow or Green marble you see, you will jam the belt and fail before you even crack the center.

This board is an inverted U-shape of loose marbles wrapped around a protected vault. You need to understand exactly where everything sits before you make your first move.

Look at the left side of the Top Tray. You have a massive double column. The outer left edge is stacked with Light Blue, Black, Green, White, Black, and Dark Blue. All of this weight sits directly on top of a full Red Box. The inner left column is staggered and shorter, holding Purple, Red, Yellow, Orange, and another Red.

The right side of the Top Tray is just as messy. The outer right holds Yellow, Black, Purple, Light Blue, White, Pink, and Purple. This stack traps a Light Blue Box and a White Box at the very bottom right corner.

The real nightmare is the bottom section. Your starting lower Boxes are Red, Black, White, and White. This seems easy until you look one layer deeper. The second column hides an Iced Box for Red. The third column hides an Iced Box for White and an Iced Box for Purple.

Yellow and Green are absolute bait on this level. You can see loose Yellow and Green marbles sitting out in the open near the top and middle of the Top Tray. You do not have a Yellow or Green Box available at the bottom. If you drop them onto the Conveyor Belt, they will just sit there and eat up your survival space. You have to be clinical with your release order. The goal is to feed the bottom Boxes exactly what they need while keeping at least two empty slots on the Conveyor Belt for emergencies.

Beating the early bait in Marble Sort Level 516

Your first taps dictate whether you win or lose. Ignore the bright colors at the top. Focus entirely on the bottom corners of the Top Tray and the immediate loose marbles that match your open lower Boxes.

1. Target the lower left Red Box in the Top Tray. You have an open Red bottom Box waiting in column one. Feed the loose Red marbles from the inner left column into it.
2. Shift your focus to the right side. You have an open White bottom Box in column four. Pull the loose White marbles from the right and left outer stacks.
3. Grab the loose Black marbles. You have a Black bottom Box sitting in column two. Plucking the Black marbles from the upper outer columns will start to shift the board down.
4. Leave the Light Blue and Purple marbles exactly where they are. You have a Light Blue Box trapped at the bottom right, but you cannot clear it until the White clears first.

Cracking the numbered covers in Marble Sort Level 516

Once you clear that initial wave of Red and Black, the board completely changes. Clearing those lower Boxes causes the numbers on the central blue covers to drop from "2" down to "1" and eventually "0".

1. Push through the Iced Box layer. Your second bottom column will reveal an Iced Red box. Your third column will reveal an Iced White box. You must match marbles into them to shatter the ice.
2. Crack the center. As your lower Boxes clear, the blue covers in the Top Tray will vanish. This exposes the frozen Green, Pink, and Dark Green marbles in the center.
3. Do not touch the frozen center marbles yet. You still don't have the right lower Boxes for them.
4. Focus on the Light Blue Box at the bottom right of the Top Tray. Now that the board has shifted, clear this box to open up the rest of the right side.

Surviving the late-game conveyor crunch in Marble Sort Level 516

Late in the level, the Top Tray empties out drastically. You will be left with isolated blocks, like a solid Green Box on the left and a Yellow Box at the top right.

1. Watch the lower Boxes shift. They will transition into requiring Pink, Light Blue, Green, and Yellow.
2. Clear the residual loose Orange and Red marbles clogging your Conveyor Belt. If you followed the early steps, you should have just enough belt space to hold them until their respective Boxes appear.
3. Drop the isolated Yellow Box from the top right into the newly revealed Yellow bottom Box in column three.
4. Finish the left side. Drop the remaining Green Box and match the final Light Blue marbles. Keep your belt clean and the level will finally end.
