Marble Sort Level 156 Guide: The Dual Panel Lock and Conveyor Jam Trap
You are staring down a heavily restricted board. Marble Sort Level 156 does not give you room to breathe. The dominant colors in play are Green, White, Purple, and Red, but you cannot reach most of them right away.
Right at the top of the board, two massive wooden Panels lock down the left and right sides of the Top Tray. Above each Panel sits a blue counter demanding exactly 4 clears. You have to clear four bottom Boxes before those wooden covers shatter and reveal the midgame marbles. The middle gap offers no relief, occupied entirely by two grey Mystery Boxes stacked vertically.
Your bottom Boxes load in with a front row of Red, Purple, White, and Green. Below them, you can see the queue hiding more Green, Purple, Light Green, and White Boxes. The entire difficulty of this level rests on finding enough exposed marbles to complete those first four clears without choking your Conveyor Belt.
The Locked Board Pattern in Marble Sort Level 156
Every move in the opening sequence is a tightrope walk. You must match the exact layout of the Top Tray against the front row of your bottom Boxes.
Look at the left side of the board just below the wooden Panel. The bottom edge gives you access to one White and two Green marbles. Sitting slightly behind them is a mixed stack of Purple, White, and Blue.
Now look at the right side below its respective Panel. The bottom edge leaves a Red and a Light Purple marble exposed. Just above them sits a dangerous mix of Purple, Orange, and more Light Purple.
This specific arrangement is a brutal trap. Your front row of bottom Boxes requires Red, Purple, White, and Green. The game gives you exactly the colors you need on the lowest edges of the Top Tray, but it tempts you with bait. Orange and Light Purple marbles sit right in your eyeline on the right side. Do not touch them. There is no Orange or Light Purple Box anywhere in the starting lineup.
The left side of your Conveyor Belt will get crowded instantly if you pull the wrong colors from the right. Releasing those Light Purples before their corresponding Box rotates to the front is the fastest way to fail Marble Sort Level 156. You will fill the limited slots on the belt, blocking the White and Green marbles on the left side from dropping when you actually need them.
The entire level identity revolves around surviving the exact moment those two Panels break. Once you clear four bottom Boxes, the board changes completely. The lower Boxes shift into a new sequence featuring Blue, Cyan, and Purple. The top board strips away the wood to reveal a numbered Tunnel on the left holding Blue marbles, and dense clusters of Green and Orange on the right. If your belt is already jammed with early mistakes when this midgame reveal happens, you are dead in the water.
Marble Sort Level 156 Step-by-Step Walkthrough
Follow this specific release order. You need to unlock those wooden covers without dragging dead colors onto the belt.
Surviving the First Four Clears in Marble Sort Level 156
Your only goal right now is hitting that '4' counter above the Panels.
- Start on the bottom left edge. Tap the single White marble and the two Green marbles resting at the very bottom of the left column. This gets your first pieces moving toward the White and Green bottom Boxes.
- Pull the required pieces from the right. Tap the exposed Red marble on the bottom right edge. Send it to the Red Box.
- Snipe the Purples. Look at the layer just behind the bottom edges. You have a Purple marble on the left and a Purple marble on the right. Tap them carefully to fill the Purple Box in the front row.
- Avoid the Light Purple bait. The Light Purple marbles on the right side are a death sentence right now. Leave them exactly where they are.
- Dig out the remaining Whites and Greens. As you clear the front lines, the next set of bottom Boxes will slide up. You will see a second Green Box and a second White Box appear. Use the newly exposed Whites and Greens from the left side of the Top Tray to fill them.
- Break the lock. Completing that fourth bottom Box triggers the board change. The two large wooden Panels will vanish immediately.
Managing the Midgame Panel Reveal in Marble Sort Level 156
The board opens up, but the danger level spikes. The lower Boxes now show Green, Blue, Cyan, and Purple. You have a lot of new marbles exposed, and it is very easy to lose control of the Conveyor Belt.
- Identify the Blue Tunnel. On the top left, where the wood used to be, you now see a blue Tunnel marked with a '1'. It holds Blue marbles. Since you have a Blue bottom Box waiting, tap the Tunnel to release those Blues.
- Hold back on the Orange. The right side of the board just revealed a massive cluster of Orange marbles. Ignore them. There is no Orange bottom Box active right now. Dropping them will hard-lock your belt.
- Crack the top Mystery Boxes. The two grey Mystery Boxes in the top middle are now accessible. Tap the lowest one to reveal its color. If it matches your active Blue, Cyan, or Purple bottom Boxes, send it down.
- Clear the midgame Purples. You have a fresh Purple bottom Box active. Look at the right side of the board and clear out the remaining Purples mixed in near the top. This creates space and gets dead weight off the board.
Clearing the Final Clusters in Marble Sort Level 156
You are in the final stretch. The board is mostly empty, but the belt can still ruin your run.
- Wait for the Cyan Box. As you finish off the Blue and Purple Boxes, the Cyan bottom Box will fully activate. Drop any remaining Cyan marbles from the middle sections to clear it.
- Release the Orange cluster. Only now, when the Orange bottom Box finally rotates into the active front row, should you touch that heavy Orange cluster on the top right.
- Empty the final Mystery Box. Tap the last grey block in the top middle. Route its color into the final waiting bottom Box. Keep your taps slow and deliberate to clear the final few marbles and finish the level.
