Marble Sort Level 182 Guide: The Blue Bait Trap

Marble Sort Level 182 is a masterclass in baiting you into a quick game over. You load in, and the board looks incredibly generous with a wide, colorful spread. Do not fall for it. The dominant colors you need to juggle here are Green, Pink, Yellow, and Brown.

The immediate problem is that the board presents colors in the Top Tray that you simply cannot use yet. The margin for error on your Conveyor Belt is practically zero in the opening moves. If you tap the wrong cluster right at the start, you permanently clog your belt space, and the level will inevitably choke out by the midgame. The entire strategy relies on strict discipline regarding what you leave untouched.

The Staggered Front-Row Pattern in Marble Sort Level 182

Look at the Top Tray right now. It is a dense, staggered pyramid. In the very front row, from left to right, you have a Blue cluster, a Brown cluster, two Green clusters, a Yellow cluster, and two Pink clusters. Directly behind them sits a messy second row featuring Purples, Light Greens, and Oranges.

Now look down at your bottom Boxes. This is where the puzzle dictates your moves. You have four active columns waiting for marbles.

  • Column 1 (far left) demands Yellow.
  • Column 2 demands Pink.
  • Column 3 demands Green.
  • Column 4 (far right) demands Brown.

Notice the massive disconnect. The far-left front cluster in the Top Tray is Blue. There is absolutely no Blue Box available in the starting lineup. That Blue cluster is pure bait. It sits there tempting you to clear the left side, but dropping it will steal vital slots on the Conveyor Belt.

The order of the lower Boxes also dictates the flow of the entire level. Column 1 hides a Green Box beneath its Yellow one. Column 2 hides a second Pink Box beneath its first. Column 3 hides a Yellow Box beneath its Green one. Clearing the initial front line changes the level drastically, exposing a heavy demand for Green and Yellow almost immediately. If your Conveyor Belt is jammed with premature Purples or that bait Blue cluster, you will not have the space to cycle the needed Greens and Yellows down to the active Boxes.

Marble Sort Level 182 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

You need to surgically remove the front row without touching the trap colors. Control your Conveyor Belt space at all costs.

Beating the Opening Bait in Marble Sort Level 182

The first taps dictate whether you win or lose this board. Do not touch anything on the far left yet.

  1. Leave the Blue cluster on the bottom left of the Top Tray completely alone. Pretend it does not exist.
  2. Tap the Yellow cluster located in the lower middle-right. This drops straight onto the Conveyor Belt and feeds into the front Yellow Box in column 1.
  3. Tap the Brown cluster on the lower left. This will immediately slide over and fill the Brown Box in column 4.
  4. Hit the two Pink clusters on the far right of the Top Tray. Your column 2 Box is hungry for Pink. Because column 2 actually has two Pink Boxes stacked on top of each other, sending down heavy Pink clears the first one and immediately starts filling the second.
  5. Tap the two Green clusters in the lower middle. This satisfies the front Green Box in column 3.

Surviving the Midgame Conveyor Crush in Marble Sort Level 182

Once that first major clear happens, the board identity shifts. The lower Boxes reveal their second layer, which is heavily stacked with Green, Yellow, and Pink. Meanwhile, your Top Tray now exposes a dangerous second row filled with Purple, Light Green, and Orange clusters. This is where the jam risk moves to the center of the board.

  1. Look at your active Boxes. Column 1 now needs Green. Column 3 now needs Yellow. Tap the newly exposed Yellow and Green clusters in the Top Tray to feed these directly.
  2. Do not prematurely drop the Purple clusters. The Conveyor Belt pressure spikes hard here. There are no front-facing Purple Boxes yet. Let them sit in the tray.
  3. Start working the Orange clusters. As the bottom columns cycle, Orange Boxes will spawn across columns 1, 2, and 3. Once you see the first Orange Box lock into place, drop the Orange clusters from the middle of the Top Tray.
  4. If you get stuck waiting for an Orange or Light Green Box to reveal itself, you can use the Conveyor Belt as a temporary holding zone for exactly one off-color cluster. Keep an eye on the belt limit. If you drop a Purple now, make sure you are one clear away from a Purple Box appearing.

Clearing the Back Rows in Marble Sort Level 182

By the time you reach the back rows of the Top Tray, the board opens up significantly. You are mostly dealing with the final Pink, Orange, Yellow, and Brown clusters hidden in the very back.

  1. Funnel the remaining Orange and Yellow clusters into the newly revealed bottom Boxes. Keep your drops sequential so the belt never backs up.
  2. Finally, drop that Blue bait cluster from step one. Its designated Box will spawn at the very bottom of the columns near the end of the level.
  3. Mop up the remaining Purple and Light Green clusters. With the board mostly empty, your Conveyor Belt has plenty of room to let these final colors slide home.
