Marble Sort Level 66 Guide: The Connected Mystery Trap
You load into Marble Sort 66 and the problem is obvious immediately. Half of your bottom area is completely blind. You have a jagged upper area completely locked down by a front row of solid colors, and worse, several of those upper colors are tied together. This board is a masterclass in bait.
The dominant colors you need to juggle here are Dark Red, Green, Light Blue, and an absolute massive wave of Orange and Purple waiting in the midgame. The Top Tray is incredibly front-heavy. If you just start tapping colors that look open, you will flood your Conveyor Belt and die before you even reveal the right side of the board.
You must systematically crack the blind spots on the right while managing the tied colors on the left.
The blind right side in Marble Sort Level 66
Look closely at how this specific board is built. It dictates your entire opening strategy.
Your bottom Boxes are arranged in four distinct columns. The left side is completely transparent. Column 1 stacks Green, Brown, Light Blue, and Orange. Column 2 stacks Light Blue, Pink, Orange, and Light Pink. You know exactly what that side of the board wants.
The right side is a trap. Column 3 starts with Dark Red, then hides a Mystery Box, then asks for Green, then hides another Mystery Box. Column 4 is just as bad. It starts with Dark Red, hides a Mystery Box, asks for Pink, and ends with Orange. Those Mystery Boxes dictate the midgame. You cannot form a safe plan until you know what they want.
Now look up at the Top Tray. The jagged shape dips down low in the middle. The absolute lowest row holding everything back consists of two Green clusters and two Brown clusters. Above them is a messy mix of Dark Red, White, Dark Grey, Pink, and Orange.
Pay close attention to the Connected Boxes. You have Light Blue tied to Purple on the left. You have Pink tied to Light Blue. You have Orange tied to Light Pink. When you tap one, both drop. If the bottom Box for the second color isn't ready, that second color just eats up vital space on your Conveyor Belt.
The Light Blue and Purple connection is the biggest bait on the board. Do not touch it early.
Marble Sort Level 66 Step-by-Step Walkthrough
You need a tight, disciplined release order to survive this. The goal is to clear the initial Dark Reds fast to strip away the hidden obstacles, while using the visible left side as a dump for your front-line blockers.
Breaking the front line in Marble Sort Level 66
Your opening moves have to open up the bottom edge of the Top Tray without clogging your belt.
- Target the Green clusters at the very bottom edge of the Top Tray. Drop them to immediately clear the Green bottom Box waiting in Column 1.
- Siphon out the Dark Red marbles from the left and upper right of the Top Tray. Feed them directly into the Dark Red bottom Boxes sitting at the top of Columns 3 and 4.
- Clearing those Dark Reds is your highest priority. Once they drop, the first layer of Mystery Boxes on the right side will finally reveal their colors.
- Drop the Brown clusters from the bottom edge of the Top Tray. Send them into the newly opened Brown bottom Box in Column 1.
- Leave the Light Blue and Purple Connected Boxes completely alone. If you drop them now, the purple marbles will sit dead on your Conveyor Belt and ruin your spacing.
Managing the midgame flood in Marble Sort Level 66
Once the right side opens up, the board transitions from a puzzle of hidden information to a pure space management survival test.
- Check the newly revealed colors from the Mystery Boxes in Columns 3 and 4. Adjust your next drops to clear these immediately. You need these columns moving so you don't get stuck.
- Start working on the Light Blue. You have a Light Blue bottom Box waiting at the top of Column 2. Now is the time to trigger those Light Blue and Purple Connected Boxes.
- The Light Blue will sort itself. The Purple will drop onto your Conveyor Belt. Let it sit there. You are about to get a Purple bottom Box very soon.
- Watch out for the Orange flood. As you dig deeper into the right side of the Top Tray, you will expose a massive string of Orange and Dark Grey/Black marbles. Do not tap the Orange until the Orange bottom Boxes in Columns 1 and 2 are fully exposed and ready to receive them.
Clearing the final bottleneck in Marble Sort Level 66
The end of the board tries to squeeze you with leftover tied colors and late-revealing hidden slots.
- By now, your Conveyor Belt is likely holding a long snake of Purple and Orange. Flush the Purple into the Purple bottom Boxes that cycle up in the middle columns.
- Drop the remaining Pink and Light Pink Connected Boxes from the upper right. The Pink bottom Boxes in Column 2 and Column 4 should be active now.
- Handle the final layer of Mystery Boxes. If you kept at least three slots open on your Conveyor Belt by holding back the Dark Grey marbles, you will have enough room to catch whatever random color the final boxes demand.
- Flush the remaining Dark Grey and Light Blue marbles to finish the board. Keep your taps slow at the very end. One accidental double-tap on a tied color will end your run right at the finish line.
