Marble Sort Level 18 Guide: The Double Panel Trap and Mystery Box Wall
This board is a massive bottleneck. You load in, and nearly the entire Top Tray is a solid brick of grey Mystery Boxes. Right in the center, two Panels demand exactly 4 clears before they let you access the upper half of the puzzle.
Green and light blue dominate the early game here. If you panic and start tapping random Mystery Boxes just to see what colors are hiding behind them, you will lose. Your Conveyor Belt will fill up with orange, yellow, and pink marbles that have absolutely nowhere to go. Order is everything here. You have to break the front line, feed the exact required colors to drop those Panels, and survive the resulting mess.
The Mystery Box Wall pattern in Marble Sort Level 18
You need to understand exactly how this specific board is layered before you make a single move.
Look closely at the Top Tray. You have a massive grid of Mystery Boxes shaped roughly like a hexagon. Embedded in the middle of this grid are two Panels marked with a '4'. Underneath those panels sits your only immediate safe zone: a single light blue, white, and green marble, resting right on top of three massive 9-marble blocks (green, light blue, and yellow).
That 9-marble yellow block is pure bait. Do not touch it early.
Now look down at your receiving Boxes. You have four distinct columns, and the front row dictates your entire opening strategy. From left to right, your active bottom Boxes are asking for dark blue, light blue, green, and another green.
This creates an immediate logic problem. You need dark blue to clear the far-left Box, but there is no dark blue visible anywhere in the Top Tray. It is entirely hidden inside the Mystery Boxes. Meanwhile, the second column wants light blue, and the right two columns want green. You have heavy stacks of light blue and green available in the lower center, but you have to route them carefully.
The biggest jam risk in Marble Sort Level 18 comes from the hidden layers. When you start clearing the outer edges of the Mystery Boxes to hunt for that required dark blue, you are going to accidentally expose orange, pink, and white marbles. If you let those unplayable colors drop into your Conveyor Belt, you will run out of space before you can hit the 4 clears required to bust those Panels.
Marble Sort Level 18 Step-by-Step Walkthrough
You have one strict goal at the start: get 4 bottom Boxes cleared as efficiently as possible to drop the Panels. Ignore everything else.
Breaking the Front Line in Marble Sort Level 18
Your first taps decide the run. You have to clear the light blue and green front Boxes without choking the belt with random garbage from the top.
- Feed the Light Blue Box: Tap the visible light blue marbles sitting at the bottom center of the Top Tray. Send them down to clear the second column's front Box.
- Feed the Green Boxes: Use the visible green marbles right next to the light blue ones. Fill the green Boxes waiting in columns three and four.
- Hunt for the Dark Blue: You still need to clear one more Box to hit your quota of 4 for the Panels. Start carefully tapping the outermost Mystery Boxes on the left side of the upper grid. You are looking specifically for dark blue marbles to clear the far-left bottom Box.
- Hold the Yellow: Leave that massive 9-marble yellow block completely alone. The bottom yellow Boxes are buried behind dark blue and green. If you drop yellow now, it sits on the Conveyor Belt forever and kills your run.
- Park the Junk: As you open Mystery Boxes searching for dark blue, you will uncover colors you don't need yet (like orange or white). Let a few sit on the Conveyor Belt if you have to, but keep at least three slots open so you can finish the dark blue clear.
Surviving the Panel Reveal in Marble Sort Level 18
Once you secure that fourth clear, the two Panels hit zero and vanish. The board state completely shifts.
- Assess the New Top Tray: Dropping the Panels exposes the upper core of the board. More Mystery Boxes turn into playable marbles. You will likely see a sudden influx of white, dark blue, and orange.
- Check the New Bottom Boxes: With the front row gone, your new active bottom Boxes are likely yellow (column 1), green (column 2), pink (column 3), and light blue (column 4).
- Release the Yellow: Now is the time. With a yellow bottom Box active on the far left, you can finally tap that massive 9-marble yellow block in the lower right of the Top Tray. Send it down to instantly clear the yellow Box.
- Clear the Belt: Look at whatever junk you parked on the Conveyor Belt during the opening phase. If any of those colors match the newly revealed bottom Boxes (like white or pink), route them in immediately to claw back your belt space.
Clearing the Junk and Finishing in Marble Sort Level 18
The endgame is a cleanup operation. The Mystery Boxes are mostly gone, but the danger of a late-stage jam is still incredibly high.
- Push the Greens: Your bottom columns are heavily loaded with green Boxes in the middle layers. Prioritize any green marbles left in the upper half of the Top Tray.
- Route the Orange: Orange marbles are highly concentrated in the upper sections of the old mystery grid. Do not tap them until an orange bottom Box is completely unblocked.
- Drain the Remaining Heavy Stacks: You still have a massive 9-marble green block sitting in the center. Wait until columns three and four have green Boxes ready, then drop the whole stack to blow them out at once. Keep your belt lean, strictly match the active front row, and the rest of the board will collapse on its own.
