Marble Sort Level 116 Guide: The Multiplier Gate and Connected Box Trap
This board looks deceptively generous right out of the gate. You see two massive green pipes staring at you. Those are your Multiplier Gates, and they seem like an easy win. They are actually traps if you misfire your early drops. Dominant colors here are heavy on the yellow, green, and orange, with a very frustrating mix of pink and light blue tucked into the corners.
The real problem is not matching the colors. The problem is the sheer lack of space. You are going to be fighting for every single slot on your Conveyor Belt.
The asymmetrical staircase pattern in Marble Sort Level 116
Look at how the Top Tray is built. It is chunky and completely uneven. The right side forms a descending staircase pattern holding stacks of green, light blue, orange, and yellow. The left side juts out into a blocked alcove holding bright red and pink marbles.
You have two Multiplier Gates marked with x2. One is parked on the left side, directly under a red marble and next to a solid white block. The other is on the right, perfectly positioned under the white and yellow marbles.
The bottom row of the top puzzle is completely blocked by dotted texture marbles. You have a pink dotted block on the left, a purple dotted block in the middle, and a yellow dotted block on the right. You have to work around them to reach the main cluster of solid greens and oranges sitting in the dead center.
Now check your bottom Boxes. You have four main columns. The starting lineup gives you a White Box on the far left, two Yellow Boxes hogging the middle, and another White Box on the far right.
This looks incredibly standard. It is a lie. The nightmare sits just beneath that first layer.
You have Connected Boxes waiting for you. Look closely at the lower layers. A Green Box is hard-linked to a Purple Box with a thick black line. Deeper down, a Light Blue Box is tied to a Pink Box. This dictates your entire run. You cannot clear one side of a connected pair without satisfying the other. If you dump light blue marbles onto the Conveyor Belt but the pinks are buried in the top tray, you are dead. The belt fills up. You lose.
White and yellow marbles are the ultimate bait here. They are easy to grab, but overcommitting to them will fill your belt before you expose the deeper colors you actually need.
Marble Sort Level 116 Step-by-Step Walkthrough
Follow this exact order to manage your belt space and break the connected pairs safely.
Beating the White and Yellow bait in Marble Sort Level 116
Your first taps need to clear the active top layer of the bottom rows without touching the dangerous dotted blocks.
- Focus entirely on your four active bottom Boxes. You need White and Yellow immediately. Ignore everything else.
- Go to the right side of the Top Tray. Tap the single yellow marble sitting right above the right-side Multiplier Gate.
- That yellow marble drops, hits the x2, and gives you two yellows on the Conveyor Belt. Let them flow straight into the center Yellow Boxes.
- Next, tap the white marble sitting just above that exact same right-side Multiplier Gate. It doubles. Send those straight into your outer White Boxes.
- Grab the easy solid yellow marbles from the middle right of the board to finish off the center columns.
- Stop right there. Do not touch the bottom row of dotted pink or dotted purple marbles. They have nowhere to go right now. Dropping them is a guaranteed way to clog your limited belt space.
Managing the Connected Boxes in Marble Sort Level 116
With the first layer gone, the bottom board completely shifts. The real mechanics kick in here.
- Your bottom Boxes update. The white and yellow boxes drop away. You now face an Orange Box on the far left, a Light Blue Box, a Pink Box, and another Orange Box on the right.
- Dig into the center orange marbles in the Top Tray. You have a solid block of them sitting right in the middle, perfectly exposed now that the yellows are gone. Feed them into the outer Orange Boxes.
- As the orange clears, you expose the second layer of the board. This is where the Connected Boxes activate. You will see the Light Blue Box tied to the Pink Box by a solid line. They drop together.
- Look at the left side of the top board. You have a stack of pink and light blue marbles sitting directly over the left Multiplier Gate. This is exactly what that gate is for.
- Pull the light blue marble through the left x2 gate first. It multiplies and starts filling the Light Blue Box.
- Immediately pull the pink marble through the same gate to fill the tied Pink Box. If you pause to grab a random green marble here, the Conveyor Belt jams up and breaks the connected pair sequence. Keep the belt perfectly clean.
Surviving the final Multiplier Gate push in Marble Sort Level 116
The board opens up, but you still have one massive trap left to disarm.
- With the pink and blue connected pair out of the way, the bottom shifts to reveal the final nightmare pair: a Yellow Box connected to a Green Box.
- Hunt for the yellow. You have that dotted yellow block sitting at the bottom right that we ignored at the start. Tap it now.
- Hunt for the green. You have a massive cluster of solid green marbles sitting high up in the top right staircase section, and another block in the top middle.
- Feed the green marbles onto the belt. Do not let any leftover red marbles from the far left slip in between your drops.
- Once the green and yellow linked pair drops away, the final single color Boxes appear. Flush the remaining red marbles from the top left alcove to finish the board.
