Marble Sort Level 12 Guide: The Tunnel Trap and Blue Box Bait

This board tries to trick you right out of the gate. You load in and see a massive wall of Blue Boxes waiting at the bottom, but the Top Tray only gives you one immediate Blue release. Marble Sort Level 12 is entirely about managing your space while you dig for hidden colors. Purple, Orange, Black, Green, Blue, and Pink marbles are stacked in a messy jagged grid. The real threat here is the right-side Tunnel. It holds a counter set to 3, meaning it is hoarding crucial marble sets that you need to survive the midgame.

The Tight Grid Pattern in Marble Sort Level 12

You have to read the layers perfectly before you tap anything. Look at the bottom row of marbles loaded in the Top Tray. From left to right, you have Black, Pink, Green, and Blue. They are blocking everything above them. The row directly behind them holds Green, Black, Purple, and another Blue.

The right edge of the board is where the puzzle gets ugly. Tucked into the cutout on the right side is a Tunnel labeled with a 3. You cannot access the marbles inside it until the board shifts. The top left corner is entirely missing, leaving a jutting stack of Orange and Purple marbles that you will not need until the very end.

Now look at the lower half. The bottom Boxes dictate exactly how this level falls apart. Your starting front line consists of a Blue Box in column one, a Black Box in column two, and Blue Boxes in columns three and four. Three Blue Boxes demanding marbles, but your Top Tray only offers one immediate Blue set on the bottom right.

This is the bait. The game wants you to dump the bottom Pink and Green marbles onto the Conveyor Belt just to reach the colors buried behind them. If you do that too early, the belt fills up. The left side of your Conveyor Belt will quickly become a graveyard for Pink marbles if you clear the wrong Box first.

Marble Sort Level 12 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

Follow this release order to keep your Conveyor Belt clean. Space is your only lifeline here. You have to trigger the right-side clears to force the Tunnel open before the board locks up.

The Opening Blue Box Jam in Marble Sort Level 12

Your first moves must be precise to create breathing room. Do not touch the Pink or Green marbles sitting at the front of the Top Tray.

1. Tap the bottom-left Black marbles. Send them straight into the front Black Box in column two. This clears it immediately and reveals a Blue Box behind it.
2. Now you have a solid wall of four Blue Boxes across the front.
3. Tap the bottom-right Blue marbles from the Top Tray. This will feed one of the Blue Boxes.
4. You are now stuck looking at Pink and Green marbles blocking your way, with no matching Boxes at the front. You must sacrifice a little space on the Conveyor Belt. Tap the bottom Pink and Green marbles to drop them onto the belt.
5. This exposes the second row of the Top Tray. Grab the Black marbles from this second row and hold them on the belt, or feed them if a Black Box has slid forward.
6. Drop the second-row Blue marbles to clear out another front-line Blue Box.

Triggering the Tunnel in Marble Sort Level 12

Clearing that right side of the Top Tray changes the entire board. The Tunnel will finally activate and drop its hidden marbles.

1. Watch the right side. The Tunnel drops a set of Pink marbles down into play. This is exactly what you need.
2. By this point, clearing the initial Blue Boxes has revealed the second layer of the bottom section. You will now see Pink, Green, and Orange Boxes sliding into the front position.
3. Send those newly revealed Pink marbles from the Tunnel straight into the Pink Box that appears in the first column.
4. Your Conveyor Belt will look terrifying right now. You will likely have leftover Blue and Green marbles parked on the right side, and maybe some stray Pink marbles on the left. Do not panic.
5. Tap the exposed Green marbles from the Top Tray to feed the Green Boxes sitting in columns three and four.
6. Clearing those Green Boxes pulls the entire right side of the lower board forward, revealing a critical Black Box in column four.

Clearing the Hidden Purple and Orange in Marble Sort Level 12

The final phase requires you to dismantle the top-left chunk of the Top Tray.

1. With the front rows finally cleared out, the bottom columns will reveal their deepest layers. Purple and Orange Boxes will now dominate the front line.
2. Look at the top left of the Top Tray. You have a cluster of Orange and Purple marbles that have been sitting there since the start.
3. Drop the Orange marbles to clear the Orange Box waiting in column two.
4. The remaining Boxes in columns one, three, and four are now Purple.
5. Tap the remaining Purple marbles from the top and middle rows of the Top Tray to fill them.
6. Flush the final Black set into the last remaining Black Box to empty the board. Maintain your discipline on the Conveyor Belt, only dropping what matches the active front Boxes, and you will finish the level.
