Marble Sort Level 718 Guide: The Arrow Box Web and Yarn Traps

This board is an absolute grind. Marble Sort Level 718 immediately throws you into a claustrophobic grid where almost nothing is free to move. You are staring down a dense center block packed with Arrow Boxes, annoying Iced Boxes, and highly disruptive yarn balls that completely rewrite the bottom of your screen mid-game.

The dominant colors you have to juggle are Red, Dark Blue, Light Blue, and Green, but the real threat comes from the Purple, Pink, and Yellow yarn. If you misread the opening releases, your Conveyor Belt will fill up with dead colors in seconds. You cannot brute-force this. You have to untangle the directional locks first.

The Arrow Box Deadlock Pattern in Marble Sort Level 718

Let’s look at the exact nightmare sitting in the Top Tray. You have a solid center block flanked by a few isolated black boxes on the far left and right wings. The bottom row of this main block teases you with Pink, Light Blue, Dark Blue, and two Reds.

But look at your bottom Boxes. Your starting receivers are demanding Dark Green, Dark Blue, Dark Green, and Light Blue.

The game is actively baiting you. If you dump those bottom-row Reds onto the Conveyor Belt right now, you will jam. You don't have a Red receiver yet. Instead, your eyes need to go to the Arrow Box chain.

An Arrow Box can only activate after the box it points to is dropped down. Look at the left side of the main cluster. There is a Purple Arrow Box pointing left, right at a Dark Green box. That Dark Green box is your golden ticket. It is free to drop, it satisfies your first bottom Box, and dropping it unlocks the Purple one behind it.

The right side is even uglier. You have a Red Arrow Box pointing left toward an Orange Iced Box. Remember the rule for an Iced Box: it only activates if two nearby boxes are dropped down. This creates a massive logic trap. You cannot move that Red Arrow Box until the Orange Iced Box drops. You cannot drop the Orange Iced Box until you clear out the Light Blue and Purple boxes surrounding it. The entire right side of the board is paralyzed until you surgically remove the pieces underneath it.

Then there is the late-game pressure. Sitting at the top of the board are Purple, Pink, and Yellow yarn balls. When these finally drop, they unravel and construct brand new knitted Boxes on your bottom row. This immediately shifts your priorities and demands space on the Conveyor Belt that you probably don't have.

You need a flawless opening to survive the mid-game transition. Keep your Conveyor Belt as empty as possible. Do not pull colors just because they are glowing.

Unlocking the Front Line in Marble Sort Level 718

Your first taps dictate the rest of the match. Ignore the bottom-row Reds completely. They are pure bait.

1. Tap the free Dark Green box sitting on the lower left edge of the main cluster. Send it to the Conveyor Belt to clear your first bottom Box.
2. Immediately tap the Dark Blue box in the bottom middle.
3. Tap the Light Blue box sitting right next to it.
4. Now look back at the left side. Dropping that first Dark Green box unlocked the Purple Arrow Box that was pointing at it. Check your bottom Boxes. Clearing the front line just revealed Purple receivers. Drop that Purple Arrow Box now.
5. Tap the Light Green Arrow Box on the right side. It was pointing right, meaning once the space next to it is clear (or if it points to an empty edge), it becomes playable.

Defeating the Iced Box Trap in Marble Sort Level 718

With the front row out of the way, you have to break the deadlock on the right side before the board chokes you out.

6. Focus on the pieces underneath the Orange Iced Box. You should now have access to the colors beneath it. Drop the necessary Light Blue and Purple pieces nearby to fulfill the two-box requirement for the Iced Box.
7. Once the ice cracks, drop the Orange box.
8. This finally unlocks the Red Arrow Box on the right edge that was pointing at it. Send that Red down. You should now have Red bottom Boxes exposed and waiting.
9. Repeat this process for the Green Iced Box on the left side. Clear the Pink box under it to help trigger its activation.
10. Watch the top row carefully. You have a Red and an Orange Arrow Box pointing straight down. Do not touch them until the columns directly beneath them are entirely hollowed out.

Surviving the Yarn Drop in Marble Sort Level 718

This is where most players fail. Once you clear enough of the middle, the top yarn balls will drop.

11. When the Yellow or Purple yarn ball drops, it will unravel and knit a new bottom Box. Stop pulling random colors from the Top Tray the second this animation starts.
12. Look at the newly knitted Box. If it is Yellow, immediately hunt for Yellow marbles in the remaining Top Tray stack and funnel them down.
13. If your Conveyor Belt is currently clogged with straggler Reds or Greens, you will not have room to feed the new knitted Boxes. Clear your belt before dropping the final yarn balls.
14. Finally, mop up the isolated Black boxes on the top left and top right corners. These are usually safe to leave until the very end, as they don't block any major Arrow Box chains. Send them down to finish the level.
