Marble Sort Level 729 Guide: The Digging Trap and Yarn Rockets
Marble Sort Level 729 is a trap right from the starting screen. You look at the board and it feels manageable, but one wrong tap in the first ten seconds will completely doom your run.
The dominant colors you have to deal with here are orange, red, cyan, and light green. But the real issue is the massive disconnect between what the Top Tray gives you and what the bottom Boxes actually demand.
You also have two major obstacles controlling the pace of this level. In the top left corner, there is a blue Gift Box with a red ribbon counting down from 5. Hanging out in the middle of the tray are two rockets tied to cyan and yellow yarn balls. Down below, the entire left column of your lower Boxes is sealed off by a thick green knitted cover. You cannot even play on that side of the board until you figure out how to blast that cover away. This level requires precision. You have to manage a severely restricted Conveyor Belt while digging for buried colors.
The Buried Dark Blue Pattern in Marble Sort Level 729
Let us look closely at how this specific board is built. The layout is actively trying to bait you into a game-over.
The bottom row of the Top Tray consists of six textured blocks. From left to right, you have orange, red, cyan, light green, dark green, and another orange. Those are the only pieces you can safely drop at the start.
Now look down at your active, playable bottom Boxes. The left column is totally blocked by the green yarn cover. The three playable columns are asking for Dark Blue, Light Green, and Dark Blue.
Do you see the problem? Your active Boxes desperately need dark blue marbles. But there are zero dark blue blocks on the bottom row of the Top Tray. The dark blues are buried high up in the third and fifth columns.
This means you are forced to dump unwanted blocks onto the Conveyor Belt just to dig out the dark blues. The orange blocks sitting on the far left and far right of the bottom row are absolute bait. If you drop both of them early, they will sit on your belt and choke your space. You only have a few empty slots on that belt. If the belt fills up with orange, red, and purple blocks before you clear those dark blue Boxes, the level jams and you lose.
The left side of the Conveyor Belt gets crowded first because the Gift Box is sitting top-left. Every time you drop a nearby block, that Gift Box ticks down. When it opens, it is going to spit five brand new blocks directly onto your board. If your belt is already full of trash colors, those surprise blocks will ruin your run instantly.
Marble Sort Level 729 Step-by-Step Walkthrough
You cannot brute force this layout. You have to open the board front-to-back, strictly managing the space on your belt.
Beating the Opening Gridlock in Marble Sort Level 729
Your very first taps dictate whether you survive the mid-game. Do not touch the outer orange blocks yet.
- Drop the light green block from the bottom row of the Top Tray. This immediately feeds the middle active bottom Box.
- Clear the red and cyan blocks sitting in the middle-left of the bottom row. Send them straight to the Conveyor Belt. They will take up space, but this is a necessary sacrifice.
- You have now exposed the dark blue block in the fourth column. Drop it immediately to start filling the right-side dark blue Box.
- Drop the dark green block from the bottom row to the belt. This clears a path to the higher central blocks.
- Keep digging in the central columns until you expose the next dark blue block. Send it to the active Box to finally clear it off the board.
Triggering the Rockets and Gift Box in Marble Sort Level 729
Once you clear that first dark blue Box, the entire rhythm of the level changes. New Boxes will slide up, and you need to shift your focus to the rockets.
- The new active Boxes will likely ask for orange or cyan. Now you can finally drop those bait orange blocks from the outer edges of the Top Tray.
- Focus your taps on the blocks sitting right underneath the two rockets. You need to drop the cyan and yellow yarn balls.
- Freeing the rockets will launch them at the lower board. They will destroy the green knitted cover on the bottom left.
- This is the most important turning point. Destroying that cover reveals a full hidden column of Boxes, starting with a light green one.
- While you do this, you are inevitably dropping blocks near the top-left Gift Box. Keep one eye on its counter. Make sure your Conveyor Belt has at least three empty slots before the counter hits zero.
Surviving the Mid-Game Jam in Marble Sort Level 729
When the Gift Box finally pops, it will dump five new blocks into your tray. At the exact same time, your Conveyor Belt is probably holding a nasty mix of purple, red, and leftover cyan pieces.
- Stop pulling from the Top Tray. Look entirely at your Conveyor Belt.
- With the left column of Boxes now open, use the newly revealed colors to drain the blocks you have been storing on the belt.
- If a purple or red block has been sitting on your belt since the first minute, prioritize clearing the bottom Boxes that match those colors.
- Once the belt is drained back down to one or two blocks, you can safely resume pulling from the upper rows of the Top Tray to finish out the remaining blocks.
