Marble Sort Level 587 Guide: The 9-Marble Red Block Trap

Marble Sort Level 587 is a massive trap disguised as an easy opening. You look at the board and immediately see four massive blocks of 9 packed marbles sitting at the very front of the Top Tray. Below them, you have a completely empty Conveyor Belt just begging to be used. Do not touch those 9-marble panels yet. If you tap the bottom-left Red 9-marble block right out of the gate, you will flood your belt and instantly lose the level.

This board demands strict order. The dominant colors you need to worry about early on are Orange, Red, and White. You are entirely gated by the bottom Boxes, which dictate exactly when you are allowed to touch the heavy artillery at the bottom of the Top Tray.

The Four-Rocket Setup in Marble Sort Level 587

If you want to beat this level, you have to read the board layout perfectly before making a single tap.

The Top Tray is heavily segmented. In the dead center, you have tight columns of single marbles (Red, Pink, Blue, Green, Light Pink, Yellow). Flanking this central cluster are four red-and-white rockets pointing straight up at two 5-count Blue Tunnels at the top of the screen.

The outer wings hold Light Blue and Pink on the left, and Orange and Light Blue on the right, all sitting beneath grey Mystery Boxes.

But the real threat is the bottom edge of the Top Tray. You have four massive 9-marble panels blocking everything above them. From left to right, they are Red, White, Green, and Red.

Now look at your lower Boxes. Column 1 (far left) wants Orange. Column 2 wants Orange. Column 3 wants Dark Red. Column 4 (far right) wants Bright Red.

This is the genius of the trap. You have a Red bottom Box exposed on the right. You have a Red 9-marble panel exposed on the top left. If you tap that panel, 9 Red marbles drop. The Red Box only holds 3. That leaves 6 Red marbles permanently choking your Conveyor Belt. You will not have enough room left to sort the Orange marbles you actually need to progress. The belt gets crowded instantly. The Orange route looks blocked, but it is actually your only safe path forward.

Your priority is controlling the Conveyor Belt economy. You are going to ignore the massive blocks at the bottom of the tray and hunt for Orange.

Surviving the Opening Moves in Marble Sort Level 587

The early game is all about exposing a second Red bottom Box so you can safely clear the first 9-marble panel.

1. Ignore the bottom row: Do not touch the Red, White, Green, or Red 9-marble panels at the bottom of the Top Tray. They are pure bait.
2. Hunt the Orange: Look at the far right wing. Tap the single Orange marble to put it on the Conveyor Belt.
3. Hit the lower wings: You need more Orange to clear the first two bottom Boxes in Columns 1 and 2. Tap the Mystery Boxes sitting just above the 9-marble panels on the left and right wings to pull out the hidden Orange marbles.
4. Clear the left side: Feed those Orange marbles into the Column 1 and Column 2 bottom Boxes.
5. Reveal the green light: Clearing the Orange Box in Column 1 reveals a Bright Red Box directly underneath it. You now have a Red Box on the far left and a Red Box on the far right.

Managing the 9-Marble Panels in Marble Sort Level 587

Now that the board has shifted, the mid-game opens up. You finally have the capacity to handle the big drops.

6. Drop the Red payload: With two Red Boxes open at the bottom, tap the Red 9-marble panel on the bottom left of the Top Tray. Nine marbles drop. Six will instantly fly into the two Red Boxes, leaving only a manageable three Red marbles resting on your Conveyor Belt.
7. Clear the White Box: Clearing the Orange Box in Column 2 revealed a White Box. You can now tap the White 9-marble panel. Be warned: if you only have one White Box open, 6 White marbles will sit on your belt. You must make sure your belt is mostly empty before you do this.
8. Work the center: Start pulling the single marbles (Pink, Blue, Green) from the center cluster. Your goal here is to clear the marbles touching the four rockets.
9. Launch the Rockets: As you clear the center, the rockets will activate. They will shoot straight up and blast the 5-count Blue Tunnels at the top of the board, destroying the obstacles and pulling out the hidden marbles inside.

Once the rockets clear the top, the board gets messy again. You will face a sudden influx of hidden mechanics.

10. Handle the Surprise Bag: A grey Surprise Bag with a yellow tie will appear in the top left corner. Do not tap it until you have at least four empty slots on your Conveyor Belt. It will dump random colors that you must sort quickly.
11. Clear the new 9-panels: The destruction of the top Tunnels reveals a Purple 9-marble panel and a new Red 9-marble panel. Wait until you have exposed Purple and Red bottom Boxes before touching these.
12. Watch the bottom right: The lower Boxes in Column 4 will eventually reveal Mystery Boxes (grey boxes with question marks). You won't know what color they need until the Box above them clears. Keep your belt clean and hold back one or two single marbles of different colors so you can instantly feed these mystery requests to finish the level.
