Marble Sort Level 220 Guide: The Giant Center Chain Trap
This board is a masterclass in splitting your attention. You are staring down a layout cut perfectly in half by a massive center chain. The left side gives you clear, visible colors. The right side is a completely blind wall of grey blocks. Marble Sort Level 220 is designed to make you panic and clog your board early.
Purple dominates the start. Red, Teal, and Yellow are hiding just out of reach. You have a Lock and Key obstacle controlling the middle columns, and three separate number-gated Panels keeping you locked out of crucial color matches. The entire run hinges on getting that chain off the board before the blind right side forces you into a fatal mistake.
The Split Board Pattern in Marble Sort Level 220
Look at how this Top Tray is arranged. It is incredibly hostile. The left half is an exposed grid of Purple, Pink, Light Blue, Green, and Dark Blue blocks. The right half is entirely covered in Mystery Boxes. You do not know what colors are hiding over there, which makes every random tap a massive risk.
Right down the center, a heavy chain locks the inner columns together. The Key required to open this Lock and Key mechanism is sitting in the upper left quadrant. You cannot touch it immediately. You have to dig through the Purple, Pink, and Green blocks below it just to reach it.
At the very bottom center of the Top Tray, two blocks stick out: a Teal block and a Yellow block. They look incredibly tempting to tap because they are completely uncovered. This is pure bait. Do not touch them.
Now look at your bottom Boxes. The front row is almost entirely Purple. From left to right, your starting front row is Purple, Purple, White, and Purple. Behind those, the setup gets messy.
- Column one hides Yellow and more Purple.
- Column two hides Orange.
- Column three hides a stack of Red.
- Column four hides Blue and Yellow.
Because three out of four active bottom Boxes need Purple marbles, your Conveyor Belt is going to be under extreme pressure instantly. You need to manage exactly which Purple blocks you pull from the Top Tray. If you pull the wrong ones, you expose colors you do not have bottom Boxes for yet.
There are also three yellow Panels marked with the number 3. One is on the middle-left, one is on the bottom-right, and one is top-right. You must clear three bottom Boxes before these Panels drop their barriers. Everything about Marble Sort Level 220 forces you to play the left side while praying the right side doesn't jam you up later.
Marble Sort Level 220 Step-by-Step Walkthrough
You need a surgical opening here. The goal is to clear the front row of bottom Boxes, unlock the numbered Panels, and grab the Key without overloading the Conveyor Belt.
Digging the Left Side in Marble Sort Level 220
Your first moves must focus entirely on the visible left side. Leave the blind right side alone.
- Locate the Purple blocks at the bottom left of the Top Tray. Tap them to start filling the three active Purple bottom Boxes.
- Do not touch the protruding Teal and Yellow blocks at the bottom center of the board. You do not have Teal or Yellow bottom Boxes active yet. Tapping them will permanently eat two slots on your Conveyor Belt.
- Hunt for the White blocks needed for the third column. You need to clear that White bottom Box quickly to expose the Red Box behind it.
- Keep digging straight up the left side. Your primary target is the block holding the Key.
- Route your clears so that you only expose colors you can immediately dump into the bottom Boxes. If you expose a Green or a Pink too early, leave it sitting in the Top Tray.
- Secure your first three bottom Box clears. This is mandatory. Clearing three boxes will automatically trigger the yellow Panels, dropping their barriers and opening up new sections of the board.
Unlocking the Center Chain in Marble Sort Level 220
Once the first three boxes clear, the board state shifts heavily. The Panels are gone, but you still need to break that chain.
- Drop the block containing the Key into the Conveyor Belt the exact second it becomes playable.
- Let the Key clear its matching bottom Box. The massive center chain will shatter.
- The middle columns of the Top Tray are now fully accessible. This connects the safe left side to the dangerous right side.
- Look at your new front row of bottom Boxes. You will likely have Green, Red, and Light Blue exposed now.
- Start pulling the Red marbles to clear out the heavy stack of Red bottom Boxes sitting in column three.
Surviving the Blind Right Side in Marble Sort Level 220
This is where Marble Sort Level 220 ruins good runs. The left side is mostly empty, and you are forced to start clicking the Mystery Boxes on the right.
- Only click one Mystery Box at a time. The right side is a minefield.
- When a Mystery Box reveals its color, check if you have an active bottom Box for it. If you do, tap it down immediately.
- If the revealed color does not have a matching bottom Box, leave it in the Top Tray. Do not pull it down.
- Carefully reveal the top-right corner. The final sequence of bottom Boxes usually requires Teal and Dark Green.
- Now you can finally use the protruding Teal block that has been sitting at the bottom center of the board since the start of the level. Drop it down to clear the final Teal bottom Box.
- Keep your Conveyor Belt empty. Only pull from the remaining Mystery Boxes when you have at least four empty slots on the belt. The final few layers hide mismatched colors designed to cause a last-second jam. Clear the remaining Yellow and Blue boxes to finish the board.
