Marble Sort Level 38 Guide: The Double Tunnel Trap

Welcome to one of the most punishing layouts in this tier. Marble Sort Level 38 hits you right away with a brutal space management nightmare. You have massive blocks of dominant colors—Cyan, Black, Orange, and Red—sitting right at the edge of the drop zone.

The Top Tray forms a jagged pyramid. The edges are solid colors, but the entire upper middle is loaded with grey blocks stamped with question marks. Below them, two blue obstacle gates dictate the flow of the entire level. Your bottom Boxes load in with a very specific, unforgiving order. If you panic and start tapping colors just because they are in front, you will jam the belt in seconds. You need a strict release sequence to survive.

The jagged pyramid pattern in Marble Sort Level 38

Look closely at how this board is stacked. The Top Tray is wide at the bottom and narrows at the top. The front row has four massive blocks ready to drop: Cyan on the far left, Black in the middle-left, Orange in the middle-right, and Red on the far right.

Directly behind the Cyan block is a solid Red block. Behind the Black block sits a Brown block. Behind the Orange block is a White block, and behind the front Red block is another Orange block.

Now look for the real threats. On the left side, resting just above the front lines, is a blue Tunnel marked with a '3'. In the middle-right, resting behind the front Orange block, is a second Tunnel also marked with a '3'. These hold back crucial colors you need later. The entire peak of the pyramid is made of Hidden Boxes. You cannot see what colors these hold until you drop the blocks directly in front of them.

Now check your bottom Boxes. The front active row gives you two Red boxes on the left, one Cyan box, and one Black box on the right.

See the trap? That massive front Orange block in the Top Tray is pure bait. It is incredibly tempting to tap it because it is sitting right out in the open. But there is no Orange box in the front row below. The Orange boxes are buried in row two and row three. Touching that Orange block first will dump a massive load of unusable marbles straight onto your Conveyor Belt. You will instantly choke your space and lose.

Marble Sort Level 38 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

You have to manage block size versus box size. Every block you tap drops multiple marbles. If you don't have enough matching bottom Boxes ready to catch them, the leftovers sit on the belt. Space is everything.

Beating the front row bait in Marble Sort Level 38

The opening moves require discipline. Ignore the center of the board completely and work the edges.

  1. Tap the front Red block on the far right. You have two Red Boxes sitting in the front row below. They will swallow most of these red marbles, keeping your Conveyor Belt safe and clear.
  2. Tap the front Black block sitting in the middle-left. This sends marbles straight into the front right Black Box.
  3. Tap the front Cyan block on the far left. You have one Cyan Box ready in the front row. The leftovers will sit on your belt, but clearing that front Cyan block exposes the Red block behind it.
  4. Leave the front Orange block alone. I repeat, do not touch it. Wait until the front row of lower Boxes clears out so the buried Orange boxes can rise to the active row.
  5. Tap the newly exposed Red block on the left. This will finish off any remaining Red Boxes in the lower section and start shifting the board backward.

Cracking the Tunnels in Marble Sort Level 38

Once the first wave is gone, the board shifts entirely. You will expose the entrances to the two blue Tunnels. The numbers will count down as you pull from them.

  1. Hit the blocks sitting directly in front of the Tunnels.
  2. Watch the grey Hidden Boxes in the upper pyramid. As you pull the front blocks away, these will flip and reveal their true colors. You will start seeing Purple, Grey, White, and dark Red blocks appear.
  3. Check your shifting lower Boxes. As the front row clears, you will suddenly get Grey, Black, and White boxes in your active row.
  4. The left Tunnel will eventually spit out a bright Purple block. Do not drop it immediately. Check your lower rows. If you don't have a Purple Box ready, let it sit at the tunnel exit.
  5. Match the newly revealed White and Brown blocks from the Top Tray to keep the middle columns digging deeper.

Surviving the Hidden Box cascade in Marble Sort Level 38

The late game gets incredibly tight. Your belt will be holding leftover marbles from those massive early drops.

  1. Prioritize clearing the lower Boxes that match the straggler marbles currently choking your Conveyor Belt. If you have three orange marbles stuck on the belt, dig desperately for an Orange box below.
  2. Tap the remaining Hidden Boxes near the peak carefully. Because you don't know what color they hold until the block in front falls, only drop them when your belt is at least half empty.
  3. Flush the final items out of the Tunnels. Once the numbers hit '0', the tunnels are dead.
  4. Drop the remaining Grey and Black blocks from the top peak to feed the final lower rows. Keep your tapping slow at the very end so you don't accidentally send a wrong color down while a box is still cycling.
