Marble Sort Level 48 Guide: The Double Tunnel Blockade

This board is an absolute trap. The layout forces you to navigate a massive U-shape of hidden colors while two locked bottlenecks hold your needed marbles hostage. You will see Light Blue, Light Pink, Orange, Green, and Red dominating the front lines. Do not let the bright colors fool you. Tapping the wrong one will kill your run in seconds.

The Top Tray forms a rigid, chunky U-shape. The outer arms are entirely built out of a Hidden Box chain. You can see a few Yellow and Orange blocks peeking through higher up, but the vast majority of the side columns are marked with question marks.

Right in the middle sit two Tunnels. They dominate the center of the board and are both marked with a "4" counter. You have to drop four distinct blocks from the front before these Tunnels open up and release the trapped Green and Red blocks inside them.

Look directly below that mess. Your starting bottom Boxes demand Purple, Red, Light Pink, and Red. That is where the nightmare begins.

The Double Tunnel Blockade in Marble Sort Level 48

Every bad decision on this board comes from misunderstanding the opening layout. Look at your very first row of accessible blocks in the Top Tray. From left to right, sitting just above the drop zone, you have Light Blue, Light Pink, Orange, Green, Red, and another Light Blue.

Now look at your active bottom Boxes. The far-left Box needs Purple marbles. The far-right Box needs Red marbles. The inner Boxes need Red and Light Pink.

Notice the massive disconnect. You have a Purple Box waiting on the left, but zero Purple blocks are available to tap in the Top Tray. The Purple marbles are buried somewhere inside that Hidden Box chain.

This means the Light Blue, Orange, and Green blocks in your front row are total bait. Touching them right now is a fatal error. If you release the Orange or Green blocks, they will drop onto the Conveyor Belt and sit there. They have nowhere to go. The bottom grid does not want them yet. You will instantly choke your available space.

The board dictates a strict front-to-back reveal strategy. The Red and Light Pink blocks at the front of the Top Tray are your only safe plays. They match the available Red and Light Pink Boxes below. Dropping them serves two purposes. First, it clears the immediate Boxes to pull new ones up. Second, it ticks down the counter on those central Tunnels.

The entire rhythm of this level relies on getting those "4" counters down to zero without jamming the Conveyor Belt with orphaned colors. Once the center opens up, the side columns of the U-shape begin to crack, and the real puzzle begins.

Marble Sort Level 48 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

Follow this release order to control the board. Do not rush your taps. Space on the belt is your most valuable resource.

Surviving the First Drops in Marble Sort Level 48

Your opening moves must be surgical. One wrong tap on a bait color will leave you with a jammed belt before the midgame even starts.

  1. Locate the Light Pink and Red blocks at the bottom row of the Top Tray.
  2. Tap the Red block and the Light Pink block. Send them straight down to the Conveyor Belt.
  3. Let them sort into the matching Red and Light Pink Boxes waiting in the bottom grid.
  4. Ignore the Light Blue blocks on the far edges. Ignore the Orange and Green blocks sitting right under the Tunnels. They are pure bait. Touching them will clutter your belt.
  5. Watch the central Tunnels. Dropping the initial blocks will lower their counters from "4" down to "2".
  6. As the front clears, the lower Boxes will slide up. A new set of target colors will appear, allowing you to start stripping away the front of the Hidden Box chains on the left and right.

Cracking the Hidden Box Chain in Marble Sort Level 48

Once the first blocks are out of the way, the board completely shifts. The Top Tray will reveal new colors, and the lower area will get drastically more complicated.

  1. Target the newly revealed blocks from the Hidden Box chain. You are looking specifically for Purple. You must clear that stubborn Purple Box on the far left that has been sitting there since the start.
  2. Drop the Purple marbles as soon as they flip. Clearing that left-side Box shifts the entire bottom grid.
  3. Keep clearing the front-most safe colors to zero out the Tunnels.
  4. When the Tunnels hit zero, they will spit out a Green block and a Red block. By this point, your bottom grid will have shifted to reveal Green and Red Boxes in the center columns. Send those center blocks down immediately to keep the belt clear.

Clearing the Midgame Jam in Marble Sort Level 48

The back half of this board is chaotic. The U-shape breaks apart, and your Conveyor Belt will be under massive pressure.

  1. Watch the bottom Boxes as they slide into their final configurations. You will see a heavy demand for Yellow, Pink, and Blue on the left, and Light Blue and Orange on the right.
  2. The original Light Blue blocks from the bottom corners of the Top Tray are finally playable. Drop them into the Light Blue Boxes that have surfaced on the right side.
  3. Prioritize Yellow. Several Yellow blocks are buried in the upper half of the U-shape. As the Hidden Box chain dissolves, Yellow marbles will flood the area. Route them into the waiting Yellow Boxes on the left and center-right.
  4. Keep the snake of marbles moving. If you have Blue, Green, and Pink marbles waiting on the belt, systematically tap the remaining Top Tray colors to complete the matching Boxes as they slide into position. Finish the Orange blocks last to clear the board.
