Marble Sort Level 358 Guide: The Double Crate & Iced Box Trap

This board is a massive bottleneck. Marble Sort Level 358 locks the entire center of the play area behind two massive wooden Crates. Below those crates, four cracked Iced Boxes hold key marbles hostage. The dominant colors pushing you around early are Light Blue, Purple, and Red, but you do not have enough free marbles to clear them easily.

You have to dig. Two tall columns flank the outside edges of the Top Tray. Two Gift Boxes sit completely out of reach in the top corners, mocking you. If you panic and start clicking the side columns just to make something happen, your Conveyor Belt will instantly jam. You have to break the center open before the board starves you of moves.

The Bottleneck Pattern in Marble Sort Level 358

Take a hard look at how the Top Tray is built. The middle is a fortress. Two large wooden Crates take up the bulk of the upper center. Below them, you have four Iced Boxes trapping single marbles—Red and Yellow on the left, Green and Blue on the right. Nestled exactly between those frozen marbles are two free marbles, Pink and Purple. Below all of this is your only easy access point: four multi-marble clusters of Purple, Red, Blue, and Light Blue.

Now look at your bottom Boxes. The front row is demanding Light Blue, Light Blue, Red, and Purple.

This is where Marble Sort Level 358 sets its first trap. You have the bottom clusters in the center to feed the Red, Purple, and the first Light Blue Box. But you do not have enough Light Blue marbles to finish that second Light Blue Box.

You have to look at the outer side columns. The left column stacks Purple, Orange, Purple, Light Blue, Yellow, and finally a Gift Box at the very top. The right column stacks Brown, Blue, Pink, Green, Orange, and another Gift Box.

That Light Blue marble buried in the left column is your lifeline. The right column is complete bait. There are no Brown, Pink, or Green bottom Boxes asking for marbles right now. If you touch the right column early, those marbles will sit on your Conveyor Belt and rot, taking up space you desperately need for staging. The entire strategy revolves around carefully managing the left column while chipping away at the Iced Boxes to shatter the center Crates.

Order is everything here. Do not touch the right side of the board. You need to manipulate the left side just enough to scrape together the colors you need for the first wave of clears. Keep a close eye on your Conveyor Belt slots.

Cracking the Opening Trap in Marble Sort Level 358

Your first taps must clear the easiest path and solve the Light Blue shortage.

1. Tap the bottom-most center clusters. Send the Purple, Red, and Light Blue marbles straight into their matching bottom Boxes. This clears out three of the four front-line targets.
2. The second Light Blue Box is still waiting. Look at the far-left outer column.
3. Tap the bottom Purple marble from that left column to park it on the Conveyor Belt.
4. Tap the Orange marble right above it to park that on the belt as well. You now have two slots filled, but the necessary path is clear.
5. Tap the newly exposed Light Blue marble from the left column. It will fly down, finish the second Light Blue Box, and cycle the board forward.
6. The bottom Boxes will shift, revealing new colors. You will immediately see targets for the Purple you parked on your belt, so slide that in next to free up your belt space.

Shattering the Crates in Marble Sort Level 358

With the front line gone, you can finally attack the fortress in the middle. The Crates only break when you clear marbles directly adjacent to them.

7. Shift your focus to the Iced Boxes. You need to break the ice off the Red and Blue marbles first.
8. Look at your new bottom Boxes. Match whatever colors you can to pull the trapped Red and Blue marbles out.
9. Clearing these frozen marbles will deal damage to the Crates above them.
10. Once the frozen marbles are gone, tap the free Pink and Purple marbles sitting in the dead center. This triggers another adjacent clear, hitting the Crates again.
11. One of the Crates will finally shatter. This is a huge turning point. The board physically opens up, giving you access to the marbles buried higher in the center.

Reaching the Gift Boxes in Marble Sort Level 358

The endgame is all about surviving the outer columns. You still have those two Gift Boxes stranded in the top corners, and now the right column is finally viable.

12. Start pulling from the right side. The newly cycled bottom Boxes will now be asking for Green, Pink, and Orange.
13. Carefully alternate between the left and right columns. Send the Yellow from the left and the Brown from the right only when their matching Boxes appear.
14. Always prioritize pulling from the column that is closest to a Gift Box.
15. When you finally clear the last marble beneath a Gift Box, it will activate and drop a set of new boxes onto the board.
16. Do not let the sudden influx of new boxes panic you. Your Top Tray is mostly empty now. Just systematically match the remaining few colors to close out the level.
