This level is a massive bait-and-switch. You drop in and see a beautiful row of easy matches right at the front. Do not trust it. The board is designed to jam your Conveyor Belt immediately if you take the obvious moves.

Your dominant colors here are Whites, Pinks, and Blues. The real danger lies in the massive cluster of Mystery Boxes hoarding the top half of the screen and that ticking Gift Box dead center. You also have four separate Tunnels flanking the sides. You have to thread a very tight needle to thaw out the middle without running out of space.

Look at exactly how this board is stacked. The Top Tray forms a bulky pyramid shape that narrows at the bottom front row.

That front row is your entire game. From left to right, you have White, Light Pink, Light Blue, Dark Blue, and another White. Right behind them sits a heavily armored second row featuring an Orange box, a Dark Blue box, and a wall of Iced Boxes holding Purples, Reds, Whites, and Pinks.

Now look at your bottom Boxes. This is where the trap snaps shut.

Opening Moves and Early Traps in Marble Sort Level 524

We have to clear the safe front row while completely ignoring the center bait.

1. Tap the front-left White box and the front-right White box. Send them down. The center-right bottom Box is White and will clear immediately.
2. Tap the front Light Pink box. It drops perfectly into the center-left bottom Box and clears it.
3. Tap the front Dark Blue box. It drops into the far-right bottom Box and clears it.
4. Leave the Light Blue box exactly where it is. Touch absolutely nothing else in the front row.

Clearing these outer edge boxes triggers your first major shift. The bottom Boxes will cycle up. You just exposed Brown, White, and Dark Pink in your receiver slots. More importantly, dropping those front pieces automatically thaws out the Iced Boxes in the second row.

7. Watch your Conveyor Belt space. The Gift Box in the center requires four adjacent clears. Every time you pull a marble from underneath it, that counter drops.
8. Do not let the Gift Box pop while your Conveyor Belt is full. It will violently spew out new hidden boxes. Clear out any lingering colors before you make the fourth drop that opens it.
9. Once the Gift Box bursts, prioritize whatever colors it throws at you. You have to keep the center lane moving because those Mystery Boxes are next.

The back half of the board is chaotic. You have completely unknown colors dropping from the top, and the flanking Tunnels are finally spewing their reserves.

10. Tap the Mystery Boxes one at a time. Never blind-tap three in a row. Reveal one color. If it matches an active bottom Box, send it home. If it doesn't, leave it alone until you dig out the right receiver.
11. Focus heavily on clearing the Brown bottom Boxes. Almost every column ends with a Brown receiver. You will likely pull Brown marbles from the upper Mystery Boxes and the side Tunnels.
12. Finally drop that front Light Blue box you ignored at the start. The center-right column should now have its Light Blue receiver exposed.
13. Drain the remaining Tunnels. They dump in straight lines, so just match them directly into the final bottom Boxes to clear the board.
