Marble Sort Level 109 Guide: The Panel Trap and the Green Jam

Marble Sort Level 109 is designed to bait you into a massive Conveyor Belt jam before you even break the first set of locks. The board demands strict discipline. If you get greedy with the heavy marble clusters in the front, you lose.

This board is entirely controlled by two mechanics: the outer Panels requiring three clears to open, and a brutal midgame where bad timing will flood your belt with green marbles. You have to thread the needle through the center columns first. Here is exactly how to tear this board apart.

The Flank and Center Pattern in Marble Sort Level 109

The Top Tray layout here is a highly specific trap. You cannot play the outside edges. The far left and far right columns are locked under Panels marked with a "3". You must achieve three bottom Box clears before these outer flanks even become playable.

Look at the front row of the Top Tray. You have four massive, nine-marble clusters sitting right in your face: Dark Red, Cyan, Light Pink, and Yellow. Directly above them sits a messy grid of flat squares, many of which are Connected Boxes. These connected pairs feature horizontal links—meaning if you tap the Dark Red square, it drags the linked Orange square down onto the Conveyor Belt with it.

The back row hides four Mystery Boxes. You cannot plan for them yet. They are endgame problems.

Now look at your starting bottom Boxes. Across the four active slots, you need Yellow, Purple, Blue, and Yellow. The lower queue behind them holds Light Pink, Dark Red, and more Yellows and Blues.

The trap is obvious once you look at the colors. You have a massive Dark Red and Light Pink cluster sitting in the front row of the Top Tray. They look incredibly easy to tap. They are pure bait. Neither of those colors has an active bottom Box at the start. If you tap them, you will dump nine dead marbles onto the Conveyor Belt. It will instantly fill. You will jam, and the level will end.

The entire opening of Marble Sort 109 revolves around ignoring the bait, hitting the exact colors needed to clear the initial bottom Boxes, and breaking those '3' Panels so the real board opens up.

Marble Sort Level 109 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

Focus on getting three fast clears. The Conveyor Belt pressure is high from the very first tap. Control your space.

Digging the Center Channel in Marble Sort Level 109

The opening requires precision. You need Yellow, Purple, and Blue to move the bottom line.

  1. Tap the front Yellow cluster. This is your only safe heavy move. You have two active Yellow bottom Boxes waiting on the outer columns. Dumping this Yellow cluster will instantly satisfy them or get you incredibly close to a clear.
  2. Ignore the Dark Red, Cyan, and Light Pink clusters. Leave them completely alone. Tapping any of these right now is a guaranteed loss.
  3. Pick apart the center flat squares. Look for the single Purple and Blue flat squares in the middle rows of the Top Tray.
  4. Watch the Connected Boxes. When you pull a required Purple or Blue, check if it is horizontally linked to a dead color like Orange. If it is, ensure you have exactly enough space on the Conveyor Belt to hold the dead color while the required color slides into its Box.
  5. Clear your first three bottom Boxes. Once you sequence enough Yellows, Purples, and Blues to secure three clears, the board state completely flips.

The Panel Break and the Green Jam Risk in Marble Sort Level 109

Breaking the '3' Panels strips the armor off the sides of the Top Tray. The left flank reveals heavy Purple and Green clusters. The right flank reveals Pink, Red, and more Green.

This is where the infamous Marble Sort 109 jam happens.

  1. Check your new bottom Boxes. As the front row of bottom Boxes clears out, new ones cycle up. You will likely see Cyan, Orange, and Green rotate into the active slots.
  2. Do not dump the Green clusters early. The newly revealed Green clusters on the flanks are massive. If your active bottom Boxes only need a few Green marbles, dumping a full nine-marble cluster will flood the Conveyor Belt.
  3. Feed the belt slowly. Pull flat squares from the center to clear the Orange and Cyan bottom Boxes first. Let the heavy Green clusters sit on the flanks until you have multiple Green Boxes lined up at the bottom.
  4. Clear the remaining heavy clusters. Once the bottom queue aligns with the Dark Red and Light Pink clusters you left behind in step two, drop them. They will clear instantly without eating up Conveyor Belt slots.

Revealing the Back Row in Marble Sort Level 109

With the flanks gone and the front heavy clusters cleared, the board is heavily hollowed out. Only the back row remains.

  1. Pop the Mystery Boxes. Tap the four top-row Mystery Boxes to reveal their colors. Because you saved your Conveyor Belt space during the midgame, you will have plenty of room to hold any mismatched colors that drop from these blind boxes.
  2. Sort the final singles. The bottom Boxes will now perfectly align with whatever the Mystery Boxes spit out. Route the remaining colors into their slots to close out the level.
