Marble Sort Level 91 Guide: The Double Connected Boxes Trap

Marble Sort Level 91 is incredibly deceptive. You load in, see a massive block of bright colors, and think it is just a standard clearing job. It is not. This board is rigged to fail if you tap the wrong starting colors.

The dominant colors causing trouble here are Green, Pink, Brown, and Yellow. Your Top Tray is shaped like a jagged crown. It has a solid central block with two distinct wings jutting out on the left and right. The bottom section is entirely defined by one massive obstacle. A double set of Connected Boxes sits right under the top layer of receptacles, waiting to drop down and completely ruin your sorting space.

The Double Connected Pattern in Marble Sort Level 91

To beat Marble Sort 91, you have to understand exactly how this board is stacked against you. Do not just start tapping. Look at the grid.

The Top Tray layout is designed to bait you. You have a green block sticking out alone on the far left wing. You have a blue block doing the exact same thing on the far right wing. The bottom row of available marbles across the center reads: Pink, Green, Yellow, and Orange.

Directly above that bottom row, the colors get messy. You have Brown stacked above Pink. Another Brown stacked above Green. A Purple block trapped above the Blue marbles. This color order is vicious. The marbles you need most in the midgame are perfectly shielded by the marbles that will clog your Conveyor Belt early on.

Now look at the lower Boxes. There are four columns. The top row holds Light Green, Brown, Brown, and Pink. That looks manageable. But the second row is entirely made of Connected Boxes.

On the left side, a thick black line ties a Green box to a Pink box. On the right side, another thick black line ties a second Pink box to a Green box. Because they are tied together, they must drop down simultaneously. If you clear the top Brown boxes too fast, these connected sets slam down onto the active row before you have the right marbles exposed in the Top Tray.

Yellow and Orange are the ultimate bait on this board. The bottom right of your top tray is loaded with Yellow and Orange marble clusters. But if you look at the lower Boxes, the Yellow box is buried deep in the third row. The Orange box is completely hidden. Tapping Yellow or Orange early is a fatal mistake. They will just sit on your Conveyor Belt, eating up your limited slots while you desperately try to clear the Connected Boxes.

You need perfect discipline on the Conveyor Belt to survive the opening. The strategy here is entirely based on edge-clearing and delaying the center drop.

Beating the Opening Bait in Marble Sort Level 91

Your first goal is to clear the top left and top right Boxes without touching the center Brown ones. You need to keep the Connected Boxes pinned in place for a moment.

1. Tap the bottom-left Pink marble cluster in the Top Tray. Send it down to fill the top-right Pink Box. That clears one corner.
2. Tap the bottom-center Green marble cluster. Send it down to feed the top-left Light Green Box.
3. Do not touch the Yellow or Orange marbles on the right side of the tray. Leave them completely alone.
4. Look at the left wing of the Top Tray. You have an exposed Green block. Tap it now. You will need those marbles hovering on the Conveyor Belt for what happens next.
5. Now, and only now, tap the exposed Brown marbles in the center-left of the Top Tray. Send them down to clear one of the top-row Brown Boxes.

Managing the First Connected Drops in Marble Sort Level 91

The board drastically changes here. Clearing that top Brown box causes the first set of Connected Boxes to drop down. The pressure instantly spikes.

6. The left set of Connected Boxes (Green and Pink) is now active. You already pre-loaded some Green marbles from the left wing. Funnel those into the Green box immediately.
7. You now need Pink marbles to clear the other half of that connected set. Look at the top tray. Your previous moves exposed a middle layer. Tap the newly exposed Pink blocks to clear the left connection entirely.
8. Now you must deal with the right side. Clear the remaining top-row Brown Box by pulling any accessible Brown marbles from the upper-middle of the tray.
9. This drops the second set of Connected Boxes (Pink and Green).
10. You will likely have some Pink and Green marbles sitting idle on your Conveyor Belt. Push them into these boxes immediately. Space is your most valuable resource right now.
11. If you need more Green, dig into the middle-left columns of the Top Tray. If you need more Pink, pull from the upper-right center. Do not touch the Blue wing on the far right yet.

Surviving the Second Phase in Marble Sort Level 91

Clearing both sets of the initial Connected Boxes reveals the ugly bottom half of the board. The third row of boxes consists of Brown, Blue, Yellow, and Blue. Even worse, a new diagonal set of Connected Boxes reveals itself, linking a Yellow box to a lower Pink box.

12. Now you can finally tap the Yellow marbles you ignored at the start. Funnel them straight into the newly exposed Yellow Boxes.
13. You have a Blue block sitting on the far right wing of the Top Tray. Tap it. Feed it into the open Blue Boxes on the bottom row.
14. The diagonal Connected Boxes (Yellow/Pink) will drop. Feed the remaining Yellow marbles from the right side of the tray. Pull any remaining Pink marbles from the scattered leftovers in the top middle.
15. Your Conveyor Belt should be relatively empty now. The hardest part is over.
16. Mop up the stragglers. You will have Purple and Orange blocks left near the very top of the tray. Drop them down to clear the final bottom Boxes.

Keep your taps deliberate. If you panic and click the wrong color during the connected drop phase, your belt will overflow before you can fix the mistake. Stick strictly to the outside-in method and Marble Sort 91 will finally break open.
