Marble Sort Level 699 Guide: The Surprise Bag Cross and Blocked Column

Marble Sort 699 is a brutal test of restraint. You stare at a massive cross-shaped Top Tray absolutely smothered in grey Surprise Bags. You do not know what colors are hiding behind those question marks. You only get a tiny handful of visible colored marbles at the very front to start your run.

Look down at your bottom Boxes. You have four distinct vertical columns. The first, second, and fourth columns are open and ready to catch marbles. The third column is a massive trap. It is entirely locked down by a giant purple knitted cover. This blocks an entire stack of critical bottom Boxes. You are effectively playing with only three active columns to catch your early drops. This restricted layout makes Conveyor Belt space terrifyingly tight right from the first tap. You cannot dump colors and hope for the best.

The Restricted Board Layout in Marble Sort Level 699

Every single move on this board carries huge risk. The Top Tray is heavily bottlenecked by its cross-shaped design. The absolute bottom edge of the top cluster holds a block of Green, White, and Yellow marbles. Directly above them sit Purple, Orange, and Light Blue marbles.

Now look closely at the active bottom Boxes waiting for you. The first column needs Yellow. The second column needs Orange. The fourth column needs Light Blue.

This setup immediately creates a jam hazard. The Green and White marbles at the very front of the Top Tray are incredibly tempting to tap. They are sitting right there. But they are pure bait. If you drop the White and Green marbles early, they will sit dead on the Conveyor Belt. You have no White or Green bottom Box immediately available in your active top row.

The center of the Top Tray features a purple yarn ball. Flanking it are a few visible blocks poking through the sea of grey Surprise Bags. You can spot a solid brown marble block with a small circle on the left, and a solid pinkish-red marble block with a small circle on the right. Everything else is hidden under the question marks. The sheer volume of Surprise Bags means you cannot plan your endgame from the start. You must clear the front row, force the lower Boxes to shift, and carefully react to whatever the grey blocks reveal.

Marble Sort Level 699 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

You have to pry the board open carefully. The Conveyor Belt will fill up instantly if you misclick or drop the wrong bait colors.

Breaking the Front Line Bottleneck in Marble Sort Level 699

Do not touch the Green and White marbles. You must bypass the front edge and pull the colors your lower columns actually want.

  1. Drop the Yellow marbles from the bottom right side of the front cluster. They will drop down and clear the Yellow bottom Box sitting at the top of the first column.
  2. Clearing the Yellow block frees up the Light Blue marbles sitting just behind it. Tap these Light Blue marbles immediately. They will shoot down and clear the Light Blue bottom Box waiting in the fourth column.
  3. Shift your focus to the center. Drop the Orange marbles located just behind the front line. They will fill and clear the Orange bottom Box in the second column.
  4. Leave the White and Green marbles in the front row completely alone. Do not touch them. The bottom Boxes for these colors are buried deeply underneath the ones you just cleared.
  5. Tapping those first three colors (Yellow, Light Blue, Orange) starts peeling back the front layers of the Top Tray. You will finally start triggering the Surprise Bags and revealing the hidden marbles behind the grey fabric.

Clearing the Knitted Column Trap in Marble Sort Level 699

Clearing the initial top row of Boxes causes a massive shift in the lower board. The purple knitted cover vanishes from the third column. The board completely changes identity now.

  1. Look at your newly revealed bottom Boxes. The previously blocked third column exposes a Light Blue bottom Box, followed by another Light Blue, then Red, then Brown.
  2. The second column shifts up and now demands a Dark Blue clear. The fourth column shifts up and wants Pink.
  3. You must hunt for these specific colors in the Top Tray. As the Surprise Bags flip and reveal their colors, prioritize feeding that newly opened third column. Clearing that Light Blue Box in column three gives you massive breathing room.
  4. Drop the Green and White marbles that you strategically saved from the very beginning. You can finally release them because their matching bottom Boxes have now risen to the top of columns one and four.
  5. Keep an eye on the purple yarn ball in the center. Once the Surprise Bags around it shatter, you will expose the Red and Brown marbles you noted earlier. Route these straight into the third column.

Surviving the Final Surprise Bag Reveals in Marble Sort Level 699

The final phase gets incredibly messy. The Conveyor Belt will likely hold three or four stray colors that spawned from unpredictable Surprise Bags.

  1. Do not panic if a random Dark Blue or Pink marble drops from a Surprise Bag. Let them sit safely on the belt.
  2. Focus exclusively on chaining consecutive bottom Boxes. If column two currently wants Dark Blue and column four wants Pink, locate those exact colors in the remaining top corners of the cross shape.
  3. Pull the Red and Brown marbles from the middle right of the top board. They will slot perfectly into the bottom half of the third column.
  4. Never release a full group of three marbles unless the matching bottom Box is completely exposed and waiting. The Conveyor Belt in the late game is a death trap. Clear one full Box at a time until the Top Tray is finally empty.
