Marble Sort Level 381 Guide: The Four-Key Lock Trap

Level 381 hits you with a massive traffic problem right out of the gate. You look down and see a heavily restricted bottom zone. The far-left lane is entirely disabled by a Lock and Key box. It desperately wants Dark Blue marbles, but it refuses to open until you hunt down the silver keys scattered across the top of the board.

This board is a masterclass in bait and restraint. The dominant colors are Cyan, Green, Red, and Yellow, but they are tangled in a staggered, jagged formation. The center columns are heavily fortified by iced marbles that refuse to move until the paths around them are cleared. The real puzzle here is not finding the keys. It is finding a way to drop those keys without choking your Conveyor Belt to death. One wrong drop into the belt early on, and you will not have the space to maneuver through the late game.

The Dark Blue Trap Pattern in Marble Sort Level 381

Let’s read the board layout before making a single tap. You have four lanes of bottom Boxes dictating your entire strategy.

Lane one on the far left is the locked Dark Blue Box. Underneath it, visibly waiting its turn, sits a Pink box. Lane two is a deep stack of three Cyan boxes. Lane three features two Green boxes followed by a Cyan box. Lane four on the far right holds a Red box, followed by two Green boxes.

Now look up at the Top Tray. The bottom-most exposed row gives you an immediate, seemingly generous spread: Green, Red, Cyan, Green, Yellow, Cyan, and Dark Blue.

Notice the keys. They are attached to very specific marbles trapped higher up in the grid. There is one sitting on a Dark Blue marble deep in the center-left. There is a second key on a Cyan marble in the center-right. A third key rests on another Dark Blue marble near the top center. The final key sits all the way at the peak on a top-right Brown marble.

The trap is obvious. If you panic and rush to collect the keys, you have to pull colors like Brown and Dark Blue down onto the Conveyor Belt. But you have absolutely zero open bottom Boxes for those colors right now. Your belt will fill up. You will jam. You will lose. You must use the active Cyan, Green, and Red Boxes to slowly carve a safe path upward, leaving the keys alone until you can handle the dead weight.

Marble Sort Level 381 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

Follow this exact sequence to crack the ice blocks and open the lock without committing belt suicide. Execution order is everything here.

Beating the Bait in Marble Sort Level 381

Your first taps need to be ruthlessly efficient. Do not pull anything down unless it has a home.

  1. Start with the freebies. Tap the bottom-left Green marble and the bottom-center Green marble. Send them straight into the open Green Box waiting in lane three.
  2. Tap the exposed Cyan marbles on the lower left and right. Drop them into the active Cyan Box in lane two.
  3. Grab the bottom-left Red marble. Drop it perfectly into the Red Box in lane four.
  4. Stop immediately. Look at that bottom Yellow marble sitting right in the middle of the tray. Leave it alone. It is pure bait. You do not have a Yellow bottom Box anywhere in the visible queue. Touching it now burns a permanent slot on your Conveyor Belt.
  5. By clearing those initial Cyan and Green marbles, you just exposed the first key-bearing marble on the right side. Drop that Cyan marble with the key. Because your Cyan Box is already open and cycling, you collect a key and sort a marble simultaneously. Zero waste.

Breaking the Ice and the Lock in Marble Sort Level 381

Now you have to push into the ugly part of the board. The iced marbles are blocking the center, and you need the rest of those keys.

  1. Clear the Purple and Orange marbles resting above your initial drops. You will have to sacrifice two Conveyor Belt slots here. Hold them on the belt temporarily, but do not drop any more dead colors.
  2. Removing these outer layers exposes the Dark Blue marble holding the second key. Drop it now. It will just sit on the Conveyor Belt because the Dark Blue Box is still locked. This is the calculated risk you have to take.
  3. Keep working the right side of the board to expose the top Brown marble holding the final key. You must pull it down to trigger the Lock and Key mechanic.
  4. The moment that last key hits the belt, the padlock violently breaks. The Dark Blue Box on the bottom left instantly activates.
  5. That Dark Blue key marble taking up space on your belt will immediately get sucked into the newly opened box, suddenly freeing up critical belt space right when you need it most.

Clearing the Back Rows in Marble Sort Level 381

The board identity completely flips once that left lane opens up. The tension is gone, but you still need to sort the remaining mess.

  1. Fill the rest of the Dark Blue Box using the remaining Dark Blue marbles clustered at the top-left of the Top Tray.
  2. This fully clears lane one and pulls up the hidden Pink Box. Now you finally have a destination for the Pink marbles that were trapped behind the ice blocks.
  3. Use your freshly opened belt space to finally pull down those Yellow marbles you ignored at the start. The lower Boxes in lanes two and three will cycle through their Cyan and Green stacks, eventually revealing the deeper boxes you need for the final Yellow and Brown clears.
  4. Keep your belt clean. Never drop a Brown or Purple marble into the tray unless you know exactly which bottom Box is about to cycle into play. Match your remaining colors to finish the board.
