Marble Sort Level 385 Guide: The Mystery Box Trap and Brown Block Bait
Marble Sort Level 385 is a brutal lesson in patience. The board immediately tries to trick you into dumping useless colors onto the belt. You are looking at a heavy concentration of Dark Blue, Light Blue, Black, and Brown blocks right at the front, but the receiving area does not match up cleanly.
The top tray has a five-column spread loaded with Mystery Boxes—those annoying grey blocks with question marks. Worse, there are three distinct gear blocks marked with a "3" anchoring the left side, right side, and top-center. These act as blockers you have to work around. The real enemy here is not the locks, but your own impulse to clear the bottom row of the Top Tray too fast.
The Misaligned Board Pattern in Marble Sort Level 385
Look closely at how this board is arranged. This specific layout is designed to cause an early game over if you don't read the bottom Boxes first.
The very bottom row of your Top Tray feeds you exactly five blocks from left to right: Dark Blue, Brown, Dark Blue, Light Blue, and Brown.
Now look at your available bottom Boxes. The active front row is only asking for Light Blue, Black, Dark Blue, and Purple.
Do you see the trap? The Brown blocks at the bottom of columns two and five have absolutely nowhere to go. There is no active Brown Box in the front row. If you tap those Brown blocks just to get them out of the way, they will sit dead on your Conveyor Belt. Since the Conveyor Belt has limited space, taking this bait drastically reduces your room to maneuver when the Mystery Boxes start revealing random colors.
The Black blocks are buried in the left column behind the Dark Blue. The Purple blocks you need for the right-side Box are entirely hidden or buried deep in the tray. You have to surgically extract the blue variations first while leaving the Brown blocks locked in their starting positions.
The middle of the board is a massive wall of Mystery Boxes. Once you pull the front blocks, these will activate. If you already clogged your Conveyor Belt with Brown blocks, a bad Mystery Box reveal will instantly end your run. You have to maintain at least three open slots on the belt at all times going into the midgame.
Marble Sort Level 385 Step-by-Step Walkthrough
Follow this exact pull order. Do not drop a color unless its matching bottom Box is completely visible and ready to receive.
Beating the Front Line Bait in Marble Sort Level 385
The opening moves require strict discipline. You have to work around the dead Brown blocks.
- Drop the Dark Blues: Tap the Dark Blue block in column one, then tap the Dark Blue block in column three. Both will travel down the Conveyor Belt and fill the Dark Blue bottom Box in the third slot.
- Drop the Light Blue: Tap the single Light Blue block sitting at the bottom of column four. It will slide into the first bottom Box on the left.
- Ignore the Brown: Leave the Brown block in column two and the Brown block in column five exactly where they are. Do not touch them.
- Pull the Black: With the first column now open, you will see Black blocks exposed. Tap them. They will drop into the second bottom Box, giving you your first major clear.
- Clear the Light Blue Box: Look for the next exposed Light Blue block in the middle columns. Send it down to finish off the Light Blue Box on the far left.
Breaking the Mystery Box Wall in Marble Sort Level 385
Clearing that first wave of bottom Boxes shifts the entire state of the board. The second row of receiving Boxes will now slide forward.
- Target the Brown: The new row of bottom Boxes finally reveals a Brown Box. Now is the time. Tap those two Brown blocks from columns two and five that you left behind in the opening. Get them off the Top Tray.
- Handle the Mystery Box Reveals: By pulling the Brown blocks, you will expose the first layer of Mystery Boxes. They will flip and reveal their true colors. Stop and look at them. Do not auto-tap.
- Match the New Bottom Boxes: The second wave of bottom Boxes asks for Dark Blue, Light Blue, Brown, and Black. Only tap the newly revealed Mystery Box colors if they match these four exact targets.
- Work the Left Side: Keep pulling from column one and column two to expose the left-side "3" blocker. You need to clear the blocks directly touching it to eventually bypass it.
- Route the Purple: A Purple bottom Box is lingering from the start. You should now see Purple blocks exposed on the right side of the Top Tray near the other "3" blocker. Send them down to finally clear that stubborn first-row Box.
The Late Game Pink and Red Clear in Marble Sort Level 385
The back row of your receiving area is heavily loaded with Pink and Red Boxes. You can see the Red blocks sitting at the very top corners of the Top Tray, mocking you.
- Hold the Corners: Do not aggressively dig up the far left and far right columns just to get the Red blocks. Wait until the Pink and Red bottom Boxes physically drop into the active front slot.
- Clear the Center: Focus your taps on the middle column. The top-center "3" blocker is guarding a Pink block. You need to clear the remaining Mystery Boxes in columns three and four to drop the center stack.
- Finish the Reds: Once the center is hollowed out and the final Red bottom Boxes are active, tap the Red blocks from the top left and top right corners. Keep your Conveyor Belt clear of stray colors, and the final matches will sort themselves automatically.
