When you load into Marble Sort Level 497, you are immediately hit with a vicious board state. The game wants you to clear Light Green marbles right away, but there are absolutely zero Light Green marbles visible. Instead, you are staring at a fortress of grey question marks and a center column completely locked down by restricted moves.

This level is a masterclass in bait. If you start randomly tapping the visible colors just to get things moving, your Conveyor Belt will fill up and you will fail within the first ten seconds. The key to surviving Marble Sort 497 is understanding how to flank the center trap and force the board to reveal its hidden pieces.

Take a hard look at the Top Tray. The layout is completely hostile. The outer flanks hold Purple and Dark Green marbles. The mid-upper section is dominated by two massive horizontal Tunnels banded in bright green and white. Above and below those Tunnels, you have rows of grey Hidden Boxes.

The real nightmare sits right in the middle. You have a stack of Arrow Boxes. There is a White Arrow Box pointing up. Below that, Red Arrow Boxes pointing up. A green Arrow Box also points up. Because they point upward, they cannot be tapped until the Boxes directly above them are cleared first. But the Boxes above them are unrevealed Hidden Boxes. This creates a complete reverse-waterfall lock. The center of the Top Tray is dead weight. You cannot play it. Do not even try.

Now look down at the bottom Boxes. The four active front-line Boxes require Purple (far left), Light Green (center-left), Light Green (center-right), and Red (far right).

2. Clear the Red: Grab the visible Red marbles and drop them to clear the bottom Red Box on the far right.
3. Feed the Next Layer: Clearing that first layer of bottom Boxes shifts the board. The bottom far-left now needs another Purple. The bottom far-right now needs Dark Green.
4. Snipe the Corners: Look at the absolute bottom left and bottom right corners of the Top Tray. Tap those Dark Green marbles and send them into the new Dark Green bottom Box.

7. Handle the Mystery Shift: Clearing the Light Greens activates the bottom Mystery Boxes. The lower board will now demand entirely new colors—often Pink, Yellow, or Dark Red.
8. Unlock the Arrows: Now look back at the Top Tray. Because you cleared the Hidden Boxes near the top, the logic lock on the center is broken. The White and Red Arrow Boxes that were locked pointing UP no longer have anything blocking them. They are now live.
9. Pull from the Top: Carefully tap the Arrow Boxes from the top down. Only send them to the Conveyor Belt if the bottom Boxes are asking for White or Red. Do not rush.
10. Pop the Tunnels: Once the central chaos is cleared out, the large horizontal Tunnels will drop down to the front line. As soon as they shift forward, they will dump the massive volume of marbles needed to clear the final dense stacks of the backboard.
