Marble Sort Level 213 Guide: The Horizontal Key Trap and Connected Box Grid

This board is an absolute nightmare of locked progression. You are staring down a massive divide in the Top Tray. The left side is locked down by horizontal keys. The right side is choked with Connected Boxes.

You will immediately notice the dominant colors: Light Green, Light Blue, Brown, and Dark Red. The bottom Boxes are demanding Light Blue, Dark Blue, Light Green, and Light Blue right out of the gate. This is a massive problem. The colors you actually need to clear the front row are buried deep behind mechanics that you cannot safely touch yet. The entire level hinges on managing the Connected Boxes without flooding your Conveyor Belt.

Look at the layout right now. The Top Tray is heavily segregated.

The left side is a vertical stack of boxes holding colors like Brown, Dark Blue, Light Green, Yellow, and White. Bolted across this stack are thick horizontal keys. These are Lock and Key obstacles tying up that entire half of the board. You cannot pull freely from here until you clear the boxes anchoring those keys.

The right side is a dense 3x5 grid. At the very bottom, you have an open Light Green box, a Brown box, and a Dark Red box. Above them, things get ugly. You can clearly see red and white tape binding the middle and right columns together. These are Connected Boxes. If you tap one, both drop.

The bottom Boxes are pure bait. You have two Light Blue receivers begging for marbles on the outer edges. But look at the Top Tray. There are no safe Light Blue boxes at the bottom of the right grid. They are trapped higher up, or glued to other colors via the Connected Boxes.

The Conveyor Belt gets crowded instantly on this board. You have to dump off-colors to dig down to the Dark Blue and Light Blue marbles. If you blindly tap the right side just to see what happens, the connected pairs will drop six to twelve marbles at once. You will jam the belt and fail. Clearing the Light Green receiver in the third slot is the only safe way to crack this board open. Behind that front line, Mystery Boxes are waiting to ruin your belt management if you aren't prepared for a color shift.

Control your belt. Do not panic-pull the taped boxes. Follow this exact extraction order to dismantle the left-side keys while keeping the right-side grid stable.

Breaking the Front Line in Marble Sort Level 213

Your first taps dictate the rest of the game. You have to bypass the bait.

1. Ignore the Light Blue receivers for a second. Look at the right side of the Top Tray. The bottom-left box in that grid is Light Green. Drop it.
2. Route those Light Green marbles straight into the third bottom Box. This clears your first receiver and buys you breathing room.
3. Now you need Dark Blue to clear the second bottom Box. Look at the left side of the Top Tray. The bottom two available boxes are Brown and Dark Blue.
4. Dump the Brown box onto the Conveyor Belt to hold it temporarily.
5. Tap the Dark Blue box. Send it into the Dark Blue receiver to clear the second slot.
6. Clearing that Dark Blue box also clears the bottom horizontal key on the left side, slightly loosening the trap.

Surviving the Connected Boxes in Marble Sort Level 213

Once the front line breaks, the Mystery Boxes trigger. The board state shifts hard. You will start seeing demands for Dark Red and Brown.

7. Pull the bottom Brown box from the right side. Match it with the Brown marbles you parked on the Conveyor Belt earlier. Flush them into the newly revealed Brown bottom Box.
8. Tap the Dark Red box at the bottom right of the grid. Send it into the new Dark Red receiver.
9. Now the danger zone begins. You are staring at the Connected Boxes on the right. You have a Light Green box taped to a Light Blue box. You also have a Purple taped to a Dark Red.
10. Do not touch the tape until your Conveyor Belt has at least five empty slots. You are about to pull a massive amount of marbles.
11. Wait until a Light Blue receiver cycles back to the front. Once it does, tap the Light Green / Light Blue connected pair. The Light Blue will sort immediately, leaving the Light Green safely resting on the belt.
12. Work up the left side stack. Pull the exposed Light Green boxes to match with your belt leftovers. This clears another Lock and Key, exposing the Yellow and White boxes near the top.

The midgame jam risk is mostly over, but the final clear requires patience.

13. You still have a Purple / Dark Red connected pair on the right. Pull it only when the Dark Red receiver is actively open at the bottom.
14. Move back to the left side. The top horizontal keys are guarding White and Yellow. Park the Yellow on the Conveyor Belt if you need to access the White, or vice versa depending on what the final Mystery Boxes demand.
15. Clean up the top-right grid. You will have a lone Light Blue and a Green box left. Drop them into their respective slots.
16. Flush the remaining White and Pink boxes from the top-left corner into the final receivers to clear the board. Keep your belt clean at the very end, and the final sequence will sort itself automatically.
