Marble Sort Level 40 is a masterclass in bait. You load in and immediately see four massive, juicy marble clusters sitting right at the bottom of the Top Tray. Red, Light Blue, White, and Green are all lined up, practically begging to be tapped. Do not touch them all.

This level demands strict discipline. The top half of your board is completely hidden by mystery tiles. The middle is jammed by two blue Panels, both numbered '3'. You cannot reach the back of the board until you clear three bottom Boxes to break those Panels. Your entire focus has to be on finding a safe route to three quick clears without completely filling your Conveyor Belt. If you panic and start dropping those bottom clusters too early, you will run out of space in seconds.

The Bait and Switch Layout in Marble Sort Level 40

Let’s break down exactly what you are staring at in the Top Tray. The bottom row is your cluster row. From left to right: Red, Light Blue, White, Green. Directly above them sits a row of single marbles: Purple, White, Light Blue, Yellow, White, Dark Blue. Above that row sits the roadblock. Two blue Panels with a '3' block the central columns. The left edge has Pink and Yellow. The right edge has Mint Green and Orange.

Now look down at your starting bottom Boxes. This is where the trap snaps shut. You have four columns of Boxes. The top layer asks for three Light Blue Boxes and one Yellow Box.

Notice what is missing? There are absolutely no Red or Green Boxes available at the start.

If you tap that bottom-left Red cluster or that bottom-right Green cluster, they will drop straight onto your Conveyor Belt and sit there. They have nowhere to go. Follow this exact release order. We are going to ignore the bait, break the Panels, and carefully dig into the mystery tiles at the top.

Escaping the Opening Trap in Marble Sort Level 40

Your first goal is to clear three Boxes to destroy those central Panels.

Tap the Light Blue cluster sitting on the bottom row of the Top Tray. It immediately fills the matching Light Blue Boxes waiting at the bottom.
Grab the single Light Blue marble from the second row to top off the remaining Light Blue Box. This gives you your first clears and ticks down the Panels.
Now grab the single Yellow marble from the second row. Drop it into the open Yellow Box in the third column.
Stop right here. Look at the Red and Green clusters on the bottom row. Leave them completely alone. You do not have the Boxes for them yet.
Grab the White marbles from the second row. Dropping the Light Blue Boxes just exposed several White Boxes underneath.
Drop the large White cluster from the bottom row into the newly revealed White Boxes.

Clearing those Light Blue and White Boxes will force the two '3' Panels to hit zero. The Panels vanish, exposing the center of the board.

You now have access to a new layer of marbles, including Dark Blue and Red in the center.
Watch your bottom Boxes closely. The first wave of Hidden Boxes is now revealing itself. You will see Orange, Mint Green, and Purple Boxes start to activate.
Match the Mint Green and Orange marbles from the outer edges of the Top Tray to these new Boxes.
The Purple Box in the first column is now active. Drop the single Purple marble from the left side of the second row to clear it.

Surviving the Midgame Conveyor Crush in Marble Sort Level 40

This is where the level usually ends runs. The Hidden Boxes in the bottom stacks are going to start demanding Green and Red.

Finally, tap that bottom-right Green cluster. The Green Boxes are now exposed, so the cluster will fly through the Conveyor Belt and instantly clear them.
Tap the bottom-left Red cluster. Now that the front stacks are gone, the Red Boxes are ready to receive them.
Start pulling from the top mystery tiles. Do this one tap at a time. The game will reveal hidden Yellow, Dark Blue, and Pink marbles.
Prioritize the large Yellow cluster sitting near the top left of the mystery zone. Route it directly into the Yellow Boxes waiting in the bottom row.
Use your remaining Conveyor Belt space to hold any mismatched mystery tiles. Only pull from the top when you have a direct color match for an open bottom Box. Clear the final Dark Blue and Mint Green matches to finish the board.
