Marble Sort Level 85 Guide: The 9-Pack Conveyor Trap

You load into Marble Sort Level 85 and immediately see trouble. Big blocks of marbles are blocking the front, and the lower section is deliberately stacked to trick you.

This board demands perfect release order. The dominant colors starting off are Dark Blue, Dark Orange (which looks a bit brown), and Green. You have massive 9-marble bundles sitting in the front row of the Top Tray. On the left side, a Tunnel marked with a "3" threatens to dump hidden colors into your run. On the top right, a 3x3 Panel of Mystery Boxes hides completely unknown tiles behind question marks.

The pressure here is entirely on your Conveyor Belt. You have limited slots. If you tap the wrong front bundle, nine marbles will flood the belt, fill up the limited space, and end your run before you even touch the middle of the board.

The Front-Loaded Board Pattern in Marble Sort Level 85

Look closely at how this specific board is built. This is not a level where you can just tap whatever matches.

The front row of the Top Tray holds three massive 9-marble bundles: Green on the left, Dark Orange in the middle, and Dark Blue on the right. Directly behind them is a mixed wall of single tiles including Light Blue, Dark Grey, and Dark Green.

Now look at your bottom Boxes. You have four columns to work with.

• Column 1 leads with a Dark Orange Box.
• Column 2 leads with a Dark Orange Box.
• Column 3 leads with a Dark Grey Box.
• Column 4 leads with a Dark Blue Box.

Notice what is missing? There is no active Green Box at the front. The Green Box is buried deep in column 3 under two layers of Dark Grey. The Green 9-pack in the Top Tray is absolute bait. If you tap it first, nine green marbles will hit the Conveyor Belt with nowhere to go. You will instantly clog the level.

Even the Dark Orange bundle is a trap right now. You only have two Dark Orange Boxes available at the start (columns 1 and 2). That is a capacity of six. If you drop the nine-pack of Dark Orange marbles, three will get permanently stuck on your Conveyor Belt, restricting your movement for the rest of the game.

The entire level hinges on what is hiding in column 4.

You have to open the board from right to left. The math on the bottom Boxes dictates your exact opening moves. Follow this sequence to break the front wall without jamming.

The Perfect Opening Sequence in Marble Sort Level 85

We need to create capacity. We do this by forcing a hidden bottom Box to reveal itself.

1. Release the Dark Blue 9-Pack: Tap the Dark Blue bundle on the front right of the Top Tray. Nine blue marbles will drop onto the Conveyor Belt.
2. Clear Column 4: Three of those blue marbles will funnel into the front right Dark Blue Box. That Box clears and drops out of the way. Six blue marbles will temporarily sit on your belt.
3. Reveal the Hidden Orange: Clearing that Dark Blue Box exposes a Dark Orange Box right beneath it in column 4. This is your wedge. You now have three active Dark Orange Boxes across the board (columns 1, 2, and 4).
4. Drop the Dark Orange 9-Pack: Tap the middle Dark Orange bundle in the Top Tray. Nine orange marbles will hit the belt. Because you opened that third box, all nine marbles will perfectly sort into the three Dark Orange Boxes. The board will massive-clear, pulling you out of the danger zone.
5. Leave the Green 9-Pack Alone: Do not touch the front-left Green bundle yet. Your column 3 is still blocked by Dark Grey.

Surviving the Mystery Boxes in Marble Sort Level 85

Once that front layer of Boxes clears, the entire complexion of the lower board changes. Light Blue and Light Green Boxes will cycle to the front.

This is where the middle of the Top Tray becomes your priority. You have loose Light Blue and Light Green tiles sitting right behind where the big bundles used to be.

1. Clear the Loose Tiles: Start tapping the single Light Blue and Light Green tiles in the middle of the board to fill the new bottom Boxes. This strips away the protective shell hiding the right side.
2. Expose the Mystery Box Panel: As you clear the middle, the 3x3 Panel of question marks on the top right will start revealing its colors. You will see Orange, Purple, and Light Pink 9-packs appear.
3. Hold Your Fire on Revealed Bundles: Do not immediately tap the newly revealed Purple or Light Pink bundles just because you can see them. Check your lower Boxes. If a Purple Box is not at the front of one of the columns, let the Purple bundle sit there.
4. Dig for Dark Grey: You need to clear the Dark Grey Box blocking column 3. Use the Dark Grey tiles scattered in the middle of the Top Tray to clear it. This finally exposes the Green Box you need for that original left-side Green bundle.

Emptying the Tunnel in Marble Sort Level 85

You are now in the late game. The middle is hollowed out, but the left side is still dangerous.

The Tunnel on the top left started with a "3". By the time you clear the middle, it will drop its counter to "2" and push out a massive Dark Red 9-pack.

1. Sync with the Tunnel Drop: You cannot progress the left side until that Dark Red bundle is cleared. Check your bottom columns for Pinkish-Red Boxes. Usually, these rotate into column 3 after the Green Box is cleared.
2. Clear the Dark Red Bundle: Once the bottom board is ready, drop the Dark Red marbles to clear the next layer of the Tunnel.
3. Manage the Belt: The final drops from the Tunnel and the Panel are highly compressed. You will have almost no loose tiles left. Every tap drops a massive wave of marbles. Make absolutely sure your bottom Boxes match the color of the bundle you are tapping.
4. Flush the Remaining Colors: Clear the remaining Light Pink and Purple blocks from the top right to finish the board.

Never guess on this board. Let the bottom Boxes dictate exactly which heavy bundle you release from the top. Keep that belt clean and you will crush Marble Sort 85.
