This level is a complete bait-and-switch. You drop in and see a nice, clean row of single colors at the bottom of the Top Tray. It looks easy. It is not. Marble Sort Level 657 hides a brutal midgame bottleneck behind an 8-clear Panel and a field of gray Hidden Boxes.

The dominant colors you need early are Yellow, White, and Blue. But the real threat isn't color matching. The real threat is the cluster of striped, multi-colored boxes resting directly under the central Panel. When you break those open, they shatter into individual loose marbles that will instantly flood your Conveyor Belt. If you don't have the right bottom Boxes waiting to catch that shrapnel, your run is over.

The 8-Clear Panel Trap in Marble Sort Level 657

Let’s look at the exact layout of this board. The top half is dominated by a massive block of gray Hidden Boxes shaped like a giant plus sign. Smack in the middle sits a Panel demanding 8 clears before it lifts.

Surrounding that Panel are five multi-colored Key boxes. You have two on the sides and three lined up across the top row. You cannot touch these early. They are trapped behind the gray question marks.

The bottom row of the Top Tray is your only safe zone. Reading left to right, you have a solid Purple, White, Dark Green, Yellow, White, Light Green, and Blue Box. Just above the center of that row are three striped multi-color boxes. These are the danger zones. Hitting them releases a chaotic mix of Cyan, Red, Green, Blue, Yellow, and Purple marbles.

Down below, your receiving Boxes dictate the entire opening rhythm. The front row gives you a Yellow on the far left, a Blue in column two, a White in column three, and another Blue on the far right.

The biggest trap in Marble Sort Level 657 is spacing. The single-color Boxes at the bottom of the Top Tray will only get you part of the way to that 8-clear requirement. To get the rest, you are forced to dig into the multi-colored striped boxes and the gray Hidden Boxes. The moment you do, your Conveyor Belt starts filling up with random colors. Worse, column two and column four in the bottom receiving area have Lock and Key blockers buried just beneath the surface. If you don't crack the top Key boxes before those bottom locks appear, the board jams.

Do not rush your taps here. The Conveyor Belt has very little margin for error. We need to clear specific bottom Boxes to drop the Panel counter down without triggering a massive flood of loose marbles.

Opening Moves and the Safe Row in Marble Sort Level 657

The start of this board is all about controlled demolition. You need to clear the easy stuff to chip away at the Panel without touching the striped boxes yet.

1. Target the Yellow and White front bottom Boxes first. Tap the solid Yellow Box from the middle of the Top Tray bottom row.
2. Send the two solid White Boxes down next. This immediately clears your first two stacks and changes the bottom board state.
3. You have a Blue front Box in column two and column four. Tap the single solid Blue Box on the far right of the Top Tray.
4. Now you are out of clean, solid colors. The bait here is the solid Purple and Dark Green Boxes on the left. Do not tap them yet. You do not have an active bottom Box for them.
5. Carefully tap the middle striped multi-color box. It will break apart. Route the loose Blue and Yellow marbles into your waiting bottom Boxes.

Surviving the Midgame Lock Down in Marble Sort Level 657

Once you get a few clears, the Panel counter drops to 5. This is where Marble Sort Level 657 gets ugly. The bottom receiving area will reveal a locked Blue Box and a locked Light Green Box. You are now officially on the clock to find keys.

1. Stop pulling from the gray Hidden Boxes unless you absolutely have to. The board is about to expose a heavy cluster of Red and Yellow Boxes directly under the Panel.
2. Your priority is the Key boxes up top. You have to route matching loose marbles from the Conveyor Belt into those multi-colored Key boxes.
3. Look at your Conveyor Belt. It is probably choked with Cyan, Purple, and Dark Green marbles right now. Use the newly opened bottom Boxes (like Pink or Yellow) to flush the garbage off the belt.
4. Hit the left or right side Key boxes first. Freeing just one key will unlock column two or column four at the bottom, giving you a desperately needed dump slot for your backed-up Blue or Light Green marbles.
5. Do not let the Conveyor Belt fill past 70% capacity. If you tap a gray Hidden Box and it reveals a color you don't have a bottom Box for, you will wipe. Always keep three slots open for emergencies.

Breaking the Panel and Finishing

Once you unlock the bottom Boxes, the tension breaks.

1. Route the remaining loose Light Green and Blue marbles into the newly unlocked bottom Boxes.
2. This will finally trigger the 8th clear, lifting the Panel.
3. The center of the board will flood with Red Boxes. Since you saved your Conveyor Belt space, you can comfortably funnel these into the bottom stacks.
4. Clean up the remaining three top Key boxes.
5. Tap the last few outer Hidden Boxes one by one. Never double-tap them. Read the color, route it, and clear the board.
