This board is a massive trap. You load in and see a comfortable front line of Purple, Brown, Orange, and Pink marbles waiting in the Top Tray. It looks like an easy start. It is not. Almost the entire upper board is completely hidden behind a massive wall of gray Mystery Boxes.

You are flying blind after the first three moves. Compounding the issue, you have two Arrow Boxes sitting right above the starting row, holding the center of the board hostage. Finally, way up at the top, two Tunnels with a "5" requirement are waiting to drop even more marbles on your head late in the match. To survive this exact layout, you have to memorize what hides beneath those question marks.

The Hidden Board Trap in Marble Sort Level 406

Let us break down exactly how this specific board is built so you stop jamming your Conveyor Belt.

Your initial Top Tray gives you a bottom row of Purple, Brown, Orange, Brown, and Pink. Immediately above the Orange and second Brown sit the two Arrow Boxes. The left arrow points to the left side of the board. The right arrow points to the right side of the board. This mechanic dictates your entire early game. You cannot dig into the center until the outer columns drop.

Look down at your bottom Boxes. Your immediate frontline targets are Brown, Purple, Brown, and Yellow. Notice something wrong? There is no Yellow available in the starting Top Tray. That Yellow box on the far right is pure bait. It sits there mocking you, daring you to blindly click into the Mystery Boxes to find its matching marbles.

If you start panic-tapping into the gray question marks looking for Yellow, you lose. Behind those Mystery Boxes hides an absolute flood of Blue and Green marbles. If you pull them down early, they will fill your Conveyor Belt completely. Your bottom Boxes for Blue and Green are buried deep. You will jam the belt, lock the board, and fail the level.

Further down in the bottom Boxes, you need to watch the left side. Sitting in the third row down are a pair of Connected Boxes. A Pink box and an Orange box are tied together with a black line. When the front boxes clear, these two will drop onto the active line simultaneously. You must have both Pink and Orange marbles ready to go in the upper board when this happens, or they will stall your entire left flank.

You have to play this board from the outside in. Center aggression will kill your run. Keep your eyes on the belt capacity.

Beating the Front Line in Marble Sort Level 406

The first taps require extreme discipline. You have to clear what is visible and intentionally ignore the missing Yellow marbles.

1. Tap the two Brown marbles in the Top Tray. Send them directly into the two waiting Brown bottom Boxes.
2. Tap the Purple marble on the far left of the Top Tray. Send it into the active Purple bottom Box.
3. You now have Pink and Orange sitting in the open. Leave them alone for a second.
4. The bottom Boxes just shifted. You should now have fresh targets on the left side, including a Pink box. Tap the exposed Pink marble on the far right of the Top Tray to begin filling it.
5. Now you must clear the outer columns of the Mystery Boxes. Tap the gray boxes on the far left and far right edges.
6. Unlocking these outer edges satisfies the requirements for the two Arrow Boxes in the lower middle. Once the arrows vanish, the center becomes playable.

Surviving the Mystery Box Reveal in Marble Sort Level 406

This is where the board turns hostile. As you break into the Mystery Boxes, the colors you reveal will not perfectly match your active bottom Boxes.

1. Slowly tap the newly unlocked center Mystery Boxes. You are looking for Purple and Orange to feed the bottom rows.
2. The moment you see Green or Blue marbles appear, stop tapping that section. Do not pull them down.
3. Keep clearing the left side until the Connected Boxes drop down.
4. Because the Pink and Orange Boxes are linked, you need a large chunk of Conveyor Belt space. Pull down the remaining visible Orange marbles from the center and any Pink marbles you uncovered on the right.
5. Feed the Connected Boxes immediately. If you leave them sitting there, you will not be able to advance the first two columns, which hides the late-game Yellow and Green boxes you desperately need.

Managing the Tunnels and Ending in Marble Sort Level 406

Clearing the Connected Boxes breaks the board wide open. Now you have to manage the top of the screen.

1. By now, the bottom Boxes will finally push Yellow, Green, and Blue into the active row.
2. Now you can safely pull down the Blue and Green marbles you left stranded in the middle of the Mystery Box grid.
3. Keep an eye on the top row. The two Tunnels require 5 clears to pop open.
4. Once the Tunnels open, they will dump a massive line of Orange marbles onto the board. Ensure your Conveyor Belt has at least three empty slots before you trigger that fifth clear.
5. Route the final Orange dump into the last remaining bottom Boxes to finish the level. Stay patient, control the belt, and let the board come to you.
