Marble Sort Level 425 Guide: The Mystery Box Trap and Center Gridlock
Marble Sort Level 425 is a classic bait-and-switch board. You look at the starting layout and think it will be a fast clear. It is not. The game gives you easy access to colors you don't need while hiding the exact matches required to progress.
The dominant colors causing trouble here are Dark Blue, Purple, Pink, and a very annoying Green. The Top Tray is heavily restricted. It features a dense grid of marbles, but the center is completely choked by grey blocks with question marks. You cannot see what you are pulling from the middle.
The real danger sits at the bottom. The lower Boxes are arranged in four columns. The initial lineup demands Dark Blue, Purple, Pink, and Purple. This seems manageable until you realize what sits underneath them. Columns one and four are hiding a Mystery Box directly under your first clears. This means the board state changes instantly after your first two moves. One wrong release early on, and your Conveyor Belt will jam before the real puzzle even begins.
The Center Gridlock Pattern in Marble Sort Level 425
Let's break down exactly how this board is trying to kill your run.
The Top Tray is set up to force bad decisions. Down at the very bottom edge, ready to drop, you have exactly three blocks exposed: a Green block on the far left, a Dark Blue block in the center, and a Pink block on the far right. Everything else is buried behind them or masked by the central cluster of unknown grey blocks.
Now look at your bottom destination Boxes.
- Column one wants Dark Blue, hiding a Mystery Box, then Light Blue, then Pink.
- Column two wants Purple, followed by Orange, Dark Blue, and Green.
- Column three wants Pink, another Pink, Green, then Purple.
- Column four wants Purple, hiding a Mystery Box, then Orange, then Yellow.
Do you see the trap? The game hands you a Green block right at the front of the Top Tray. But check the bottom Boxes again. There is no Green Box in the starting active row. If you tap that Green block immediately, those marbles dump onto the Conveyor Belt and just sit there. They will occupy vital space while you desperately try to dig out the Purple blocks you actually need.
Those Purple blocks are trapped. One is stuck directly above the Green bait on the left side. The others are scattered higher up on the left and right flanks. The center of the board is a wall of Light Blue, Yellow, Red, and grey hidden blocks. You have to work the outer edges first. If you try to force your way through the middle, the Conveyor Belt will fill up with dead colors, and you will fail the level.
Marble Sort Level 425 Step-by-Step Walkthrough
You need a strict order of operations to beat this. Do not rush. Every single tap must serve a purpose to keep the Conveyor Belt clear.
Surviving the First Taps in Marble Sort Level 425
Your opening moves dictate the entire flow of the level. You must clear the immediate blockers to unlock the left and right pathways without crowding the belt.
- Grab the Dark Blue block sitting at the bottom center of the Top Tray. This is a safe, free move. It drops down and immediately clears the Dark Blue Box in the first column.
- Tap the Pink block on the bottom right of the Top Tray. This drops perfectly into the Pink Box in column three.
- Brace yourself. Column one just revealed a Mystery Box. Column three slid up a second Pink Box.
- Now you have to deal with the bait. You need Purple to clear columns two and four. Tap the Green block on the bottom left. Yes, the marbles will sit on the Conveyor Belt. This is necessary.
- With the Green blocker out of the way, immediately tap the Purple block that was sitting right behind it. This will feed into the Purple Boxes waiting in the second and fourth columns.
Beating the Mystery Box Reveals in Marble Sort Level 425
The board state shifts hard right here. Clearing that right-side Purple Box exposes the second Mystery Box in column four. The grey blocks in the Top Tray will start opening up as you pull adjacent marbles away.
- Check your newly revealed bottom Boxes. If a Mystery Box turns into Light Blue or Orange, scan the outer edges of the Top Tray. Prioritize pulling colors from the flanks before you dig into the center.
- Fill the second Pink Box in column three. You should have exposed more Pink marbles on the right side by this point.
- Leave the center alone. You will see Yellow, Red, and Light Blue blocks sitting near the middle. Do not touch them until a matching bottom Box slides into the active row.
- Manage your belt space. You still have Green marbles taking up room from step 4. Once you pull enough boxes in columns two or three, a Green Box will finally slide up. When it does, your waiting Green marbles will automatically fly in, giving you your Conveyor Belt space back.
Clearing the Final Grid in Marble Sort Level 425
Late in the level, the bottom Boxes transition heavily into Orange, Yellow, Light Blue, and Red. The top corners of the Top Tray hold Red and Purple blocks trapped behind everything else.
- Work front-to-back strictly on the remaining center grid. Only pull exactly what the current active Boxes ask for.
- When the Orange and Light Blue Boxes drop into play, feed them from the mid-level blocks.
- Save the top corners for last. Do not queue up multi-taps. The game speeds up at the end. Tap one block, let it fill the box, and wait for the next box to slide up. Rushing here will flood the belt and ruin your perfect run. Take it slow, match the newly revealed colors, and the board will collapse.
