Marble Sort Level 106 Guide: The Question Mark Grid Trap

Marble Sort Level 106 is a masterclass in baiting you into an early game over. The board hits you with a massive wall of mystery tiles right from the start. You are staring at a heavy mix of Light Purple, Green, Dark Grey, and Brown/Red, but almost all your key moves are buried.

The top setup is brutal. You get a solid block of hidden tiles marked with question marks, capped off by two blocks at the very top marked with a "5". Those top blocks are locks. They will not budge until you successfully clear five bottom Boxes. Below the hidden grid, you get exactly four exposed clusters to start your run. You have to make them count. One wrong drop here fills your Conveyor Belt with dead weight, and you will never reach the colors you actually need.

The Hidden Grid Pattern in Marble Sort Level 106

Let us break down exactly what you are looking at. The Top Tray is a jagged grid, heavily relying on hidden tiles in the center. The bottom row of the Top Tray—the only stuff you can actually touch—gives you Dark Grey on the far left, Dark Blue next to it, an empty gap in the middle, Brown/Red, and Light Purple on the far right. Everything else is trapped above the question marks. You can spot a Green cluster high on the left and an Orange/Red one on the right, but they are completely out of reach.

Now look down at the bottom Boxes. This is where Marble Sort Level 106 gets evil.

You have four lanes of Boxes feeding upward. The front line consists of Dark Grey on the far left, Light Purple in the inner left lane, and then two Green Boxes blocking both the inner right and far right lanes.

This creates an immediate chokepoint. You need Green to clear half the board. But there is absolutely no Green available in the starting row of the Top Tray. The only Green you can see is locked behind the hidden grid on the left side.

Your second row of Boxes reveals what comes next. Behind the Dark Grey is another Light Purple. Behind the front Light Purple is another Light Purple. Behind the Greens are Brown/Red and Dark Grey.

The trap is the Dark Blue and Brown/Red clusters sitting in the bottom row of the Top Tray. They look ready to play. They are pure bait. You have no active bottom Boxes for Dark Blue or Brown/Red. Dropping them means they sit on your Conveyor Belt taking up critical space while you desperately try to dig through the hidden tiles to find Green.

Marble Sort Level 106 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

You have to play this board front-to-back with extreme patience. Do not panic when the Conveyor Belt starts getting crowded. You will have to use it as a temporary storage shelf, but you must do it in the exact right order.

The Blind Dig Opener in Marble Sort Level 106

The opening moves are entirely about getting the easy clears out of the way so you can start exposing the hidden grid.

  1. Tap the Dark Grey cluster on the bottom left of the Top Tray. This drops perfectly into the front-left Dark Grey Box. That is your first clear. It instantly pulls down a Purple cluster from above, exposing part of the left side.
  2. Tap the Light Purple cluster on the bottom right. This feeds straight into the front Light Purple Box in the second lane. That is your second clear. It pulls down a Light Blue cluster.
  3. Stop and look at your Boxes. Your front line is now Light Purple (left lane), Light Purple (second lane), Green, and Green.
  4. You have zero Green. You must dig. Drop the Dark Blue cluster onto the Conveyor Belt. It will sit there.
  5. Drop the Brown/Red cluster onto the Conveyor Belt. It will also sit there.
  6. You just freed up the middle of the Top Tray. The hidden question mark tiles will drop down and reveal their colors.

Managing the Conveyor Jam in Marble Sort Level 106

This is the hardest phase of Marble Sort Level 106. Your belt is already carrying Dark Blue and Brown/Red. You have very little room left for mistakes. The right side of the bottom Boxes is entirely jammed by those two Green Boxes.

  1. Check the newly revealed tiles in the Top Tray. You are hunting specifically for Green.
  2. If a Light Purple drops from the hidden grid, play it immediately into the active Light Purple Boxes on the left. The second lane is just a massive stack of Light Purple. Keep feeding it. Every clear gets you closer to unlocking the top of the board.
  3. The moment Green becomes exposed, drop it. Send it straight into those two front Green Boxes blocking the right lanes.
  4. Clearing the Green is the turning point of the level. The moment they vanish, the Brown/Red Box slides forward in the third lane.
  5. The Brown/Red marbles you stashed on the Conveyor Belt earlier will instantly flow into this new Box. This clears a massive chunk of space on your belt just when you need it most.

Breaking the 5-Clears Locks in Marble Sort Level 106

You are now in the home stretch, but the top of the Top Tray is still locked. Those blocks marked with a "5" have been counting your progress this whole time.

  1. Count your clears. You already knocked out the opening Dark Grey, the first Light Purple, and the two Greens. That is four.
  2. Focus on clearing one more Box. Usually, this will be another Light Purple from the stacked second lane or the Brown/Red you just opened up.
  3. Drop whatever colors you need from the revealed middle grid to secure that fifth clear.
  4. Watch the top of the board. The exact second your fifth bottom Box fills and disappears, the "5" locks at the top of the Top Tray shatter.
  5. The final layers drop. You now have full access to the Light Blue, Purple, and Orange clusters that were held hostage.
  6. Look at your back-row Boxes. You will have Dark Grey, Blue, and Light Blue waiting.
  7. Your Conveyor Belt should be mostly empty now. Drop the remaining colors systematically. Feed the Light Blues into the right lane. Finish off the Dark Grey on the far right.

Stay disciplined with your belt space during that mid-game dig. If you survive the hunt for Green without overflowing the belt, the locks break, the board opens, and Marble Sort Level 106 is yours.
